Great Filipino Food and they cater too! Very generous portions. A yummy meal with lots of flavor for $10! Brought my whole family to come enjoy lunch. Adobo was perfectly savory. Lumpia is a nice size with lots of pork meat. Compliments to the "dessert chef" the Leche Flan and Biko was the perfect sweetness. Langonisa (sweet pork sausage) was a nice compliment to Pancit (noodles). We also enjoyed the pork stew (dinuguan), you gotta try this dish because it's authentically Filipino. Come by if you're ever at Fort LEWIS.

My meal - chicken adobo and pinakbet

My family and I took a trip down to the Exchange to pick up a few things and noticed this food truck right in front. It was the first time we've seen it and once my boys saw it was a filipino food truck, they said "let's eat there." So of course, we decided to eat lunch here instead of our initial plan of eating tamales. As usual, since I have a large family we pretty much got everything that they offered for the day on the menu. This consisted of dinuguan, pinakbet, pancit, lumpia, lechon kuwali, pork and chicken adobo, and suman (yea we like to eat LOL). I got the pinakbet and chicken adobo. The adobo was good. Some people might not like their chicken practically falling off the bone, but I do, and this chicken did just that. The pinakbet, which is a dish of mixed vegetables cooked with pieces of pork in bagoong...was okay. I didn't really taste the bagoong in the dish at all. But since it was the only veggies on my plate I ate it all. My family liked their dishes though. My husband and 13 year old both had the dinuguan and lechon kuwali (can you tell, they like to eat the same thing) and my son practically engulfed his plate. The husband said the fat and meat on the lechon kuwali was proportioned correctly and had a good crunch. My son said his dinuguan had a good amount of fat in it. He likes fat so he enjoyed it. Like I said he engulfed his entire meal So if you like fatty dinuguan, you'll like it. My 10 year old also had the dinuguan and lumpia. He said the lumpia was good, but he likes his grandma's better =) My 6 year old had the pancit and pork adobo. He really enjoyed his meal and ate all of his adobo and almost finished his pancit. I asked him what he thought about the adobo and he said "it was good, it tasted like beef..." Well he's 6 years old, any type of meat is beef LOL I can't comment about his pork adobo but I did take a bite of his pancit and I thought it was average. Overall, if you're in the area, or should I say on base, and want to get some filipino food this is a good spot to try out. The owners are very friendly.

    Halo-Halo!!

Just moved to Fort Lewis/JBLM and was soooo glad they have a Filipino food truck just right outside the PX! Food was on point and reminded me of my mom's homestyle cooking! Friendly staff as well.

Lumpia's are bomb. That's the only thing I really go there for. They are always quick and ready.

The staff was super friendly and I really like the amount of options they had. I got the chicken Larb and the beef jerky and it was ready in about 12 minutes. The beef jerky was sooooooooooo good! It had great flavor and perfect texture. I wish it had prik Nam Pla instead of the jaew but that's just my personal and very unpopular preference lol The Larb was good but was extremely limey and I LOVE me some lime. I had to add some soy sauce to try to balance out all the bitter and citrus from the lime juice. I also added more cilantro since it was very basil forward. But still a solid plate of Larb. Ate every last drop. The portion sizes are decent for a food truck but I always get more when I get the same thing at restaurants. Overall, I can't wait to eat here again.

This is the real deal. We ordered chicken laap (larb), Lao sausage, papaya salad and phad se ew. Everything tasted just like my mil home cooking. Fresh, zingy, spicy and that good pungency. Iykyk. If you want some good authentic Lao food, give this place a try. On weekends they have Kapoon The aunties running the truck are also very sweet and answered all my questions. Sometimes when I can't find their specials that week I call and they are more than happy to lmk. Give this place a try. You won't regret it.

This food truck has an excellent presence on social media, so they've been on my radar for quite a…read morewhile. I went to this truck while it was near Microsoft's building in Downtown Bellevue, close to my work. They are pretty good about posting their location on Twitter - so follow them! Anyway, I got "El Macho" - Marinated Steak, Crema, Cilantro, Guac, and Cotija Cheese on a challah roll. First impression... not a challah roll. That's a very specific kind of bread that kind of looks like braids - not sure why they'd misclassify it? Just marketing? Very weird. Anyway, the bread was a perfectly good sandwich/hoagie kind of roll. Super soft inside. A little crisp on the outside. Great! The filling was a little sparse. I expected a little more from it, but it was well balanced, to be fair. The meat was tender and pretty good, though lacking seasoning. The "guac" was kind of a non-entity - it gave a nice mouthfeel, but I didn't get much avocado, onion, or anything from it. The cotija cheese definitely shined through, which is why I said it was well balanced. An imbalance of meat/avocado could have completely hidden it, but it was definitely there - and tasty! I paid $13.00 for the full sandwich. They offered waffle fries for $1 more, which I declined. I don't think I needed it - I'm stuffed. While I expected it to be bigger, I don't think it needed to be. I think my ideal lunch would be a more-stuffed, full-on, half-sandwich with some waffle fries and ketchup (or maybe some inspired, interesting sauce!) - maybe next time. There are so many really great places to get a sandwich in Bellevue: Potbelly is half the price (and better) and Homegrown is similarly priced with better sandwiches. So, the market is a tough one to compete. I would have expected something more elevated for the price - better seasoning, more of a punch/interest/fun, something... For kind of a Mexican inspired sandwich (like a torta), there was no heat. No spice. No sauce.

Also: if a main ingredient [listed on your menu as part of a sandwich] is out of stock [or wasn't "prepared for you"] - you should let your customers know before they order! Don't assume they will accept mayo as a substitute. Yuck!
