He is knowledgeable, courteous and knows what he is doing. He is busy, but attentive to his customers and is quick to return a call. It is clear that he has been working in and around boats most of his life. His attention to detail and level of concern about the quality of work performed is refreshing. My boat needed fiberglass work after she was struck while tied to the dock. Mason prepared an estimate for the damages, communicated with the opposing insurance company to ensure they had the information they needed, arranged a spot for my boat (she is too wide to haul out at his slip), and he ensured the work was performed on-time and on-budget. In addition, I needed a water maker installed, and he made sure that was done on time and on budget as well. To make sure it was completed as promised, he came in on a Saturday and spent most of the day finishing the job himself after one of his crew had called in sick. I have nothing but good things to say about Mason. In addition to Mason, I want to make sure I mention Big Nick and Guillermo. Nick stayed after work to help get work done on the boat, showing his commitment to getting the job done and done well. Guillermo did the fiberglass work, and he is excellent at it. Like Mason, I have nothing but good things to say about Guillermo as well. I know Mason is committed to working with the boating community, and he is currently widening his haul out so he will be able to lift catamarans, which will make his yard the only place in Galveston Bay other than Port Bolivar that can haul out a cat like mine, which is just over 25 feet wide. After visiting multiple marinas I was quick to figure out what my budget could actually buy me. Andrew was very helpful and honest with everything. I highly suggest you ask for a in water demonstration, it would be like buying a car without a test drive. I also recommend having an independent marine repair facility to complete an inspection before you buy. These run around $300 but can save you $1000's. Andrew did a great job coordinating with me to have the boat where I needed it when I needed it there. I would do business here again. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of a document fee that I didn't agree with but due to how flexible and accommodating Andrew was it's not big deal.

Now people know better what kind of person you are. Mark McNamara, the owner of KO Sailing stole my money. I was about to buy a used light blue 2007 laser sailboat at KO Sailing and I put a deposit of $1,300 on 10/15/2018 but since, the boat had damaged on hull, bow eye and lacing eye on boom so I told sales person Pete to repair them so I can pay the rest amount but no responses. They sold the boat without telling any notice, so I decided to get my money back. The owner Mark McNamara This guy told me that check for $1,300 will be mailed to my house in the end of October 2019. I have been checking my mailbox everyday. No surprise. Nothing was sent from him. The owner Mark keeps telling me a lie, keeps ignoring my phone call. I even talked to all his employees (Pete, Sam, and Steph) know that what Mark is doing is not right thing to do. I have added a picture of text message from the owner Mark. He said, "Why I would I send you a check for $1300? you paid $1,200" and "This whole transaction smells of fraudulent activity" so I posted my Bank of America transaction that KO sailing received $1300. and I told him can you proof you only have received $1,200?
