The Jonathan club is masterpiece of beauty and architecture, Few hotels in Europe can rival the detailed designs around the fireplaces and ceilings. The wall paintings of California are excellently curated. The room furniture are antiques but happy to be away from the modern cold hotels that dominate the scene these days.

Had a lovely work celebration lunch here with someone who is a member! Parking was pretty easy, since there's a valet and from there, it's easy to enter the club. A the restaurant, I ordered the sand dabs -- I hadn't heard of this fish before, let alone eaten it, so this was a new experience for me! I ordered it because everyone had talked about how it was the Club's signature dish. Once I heard that, I needed to try it. I absolutely loved it and thought the dish was so delicious - from the sauce, to the fish and the mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had the pavlova and it was small, but mighty! It was amazing. Such a great time!

I had a lovely dinner on the rooftop! A beautiful atmosphere paired with the best service. I ordered the caesar salad and Ora king salmon with chimichurri. Our table shared the mac and cheese gnocchi, vegetables, and spinach. First of all, the caesar was incredible and the salmon was even better. Perfect flavors and the salmon was cooked to perfection. It had a nice sear on the bottom but the fish itself was moist and tender. The gnocchi was also delicious and the veggies were freshly harvested from their garden. For dessert, I was intrigued by the piña colada pavlova and it was an interesting dessert. Not too sweet but very tasty. Just a spectacular experience overall.

My husband's company Christmas party was hosted here and it was wonderful. The decor was elegant and the food tastes great! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely had a great evening.

Came here for a work event and the cocktail hour and dinner was well-done. It's a good spot for business meetings. Valet parking was available. Street parking would be near impossible. The cocktail hour that preceded the event took place with a live pianist in an opulent room with dark wood. The fried chicken sandwiches were the best h'ordeurve, while the shrimp was my least favorite (it was a bit over cooked). For the three course meal, we had the salad (a bit bitter), steak and salmon (steak was nicely cooked, salmon was a tad under cooked but still nice), and New York style cheesecake. There were restroom facilities on the same floor and there were many different floors for multiple events to be held.

Came here for a USC event. The hors d oeuvres were really good although the food was pretty standard (salad, steak, dessert). My steak was cooked perfectly, but I think they overcooked my friend's steak. The hamachi appetizer that they served was probably my favorite food item for the night! The atmosphere is super nice as it feels like one of those super class old-fashioned country clubs. Parking is horrible but we got complementary valet.

What an amazing place this was. I attended a preceptor appreciation reception hosted by USC school of pharmacy. From the second we entered the parking, everyone was so kind and professional (this is for the staff of Jonathan Club). Great atmosphere, very beautifully decorated, amazing food and great staff. Unfortunately I was not able to take pictures of the food tables but they were very tasty. They had a dessert table and their creme brulee was heavenly and so rich and creamy. They also offered tea, coffee and hot chocolate. All in all, it was a great experience.

Beautiful venue for my friends wedding that we attended. Though it's a bit creepy that it's flooded with old white men photos on every floor, kind of like the haunted houses where the eyes follow you... kinda gave me that feeling. The ceremony was beautiful, the art work is a bit dated and seems like a young child drew some of them but ornate enough that not many flowers or decor was needed to fill the place out. The rooftop was beautiful, their lamb chop legs looked a bit under cooked but the other hordeurves were tasty. The reception was fun & the bathrooms were clean. Enjoyed my time there overall

Had the salmon here. Great high end dining experience. They seemed to have a prime rib special there as well.

From years back I remember her saying that she always wanted an LA Wedding, and this place made it happen. Rooftop venue, complete with skyline surroundings, and minimalist luxe table settings. It's a setting that would make any reality tv show or urban pop culture show satisfied. The food was also really delicious- buffet serving by Wolfgang Puck. Everything from the apps to the dessert was perfect. Tips: Cornerspace location above Grammy museum. The entrance is a small door around the corner from Shaquille's. The guests get shuttles up by elevator. I read that the venue had a strict 150 event cap. For a Filipino wedding you can only imagine how difficult that is! The couple kept it adults only. Nearest parking was the underground parking lot, Connected to LA Live. For 5 hours it cost $28-30. The venue can be as simple, industrial, or formal as you want to make it. Restrooms nicely placed around the corner from seating areas.

A few months ago, we were driving all over downtown looking for an urban rooftop wedding venue. (I will refrain from bashing some of the terrible/unresponsive venue coordinators we met). We were losing hope, but randomly stumbled across The Terrace through a Google search. I decided to call and leave a message. Nick called me back within minutes and we scheduled a time to check-out the venue the next day. Our first impression - "wow, this place is cool!" Very urban, very chic, and very LA. And there are many options to do a dual-venue event (Grammy Museum, Novo Lounge, etc). However, I immediately ruled it out because I assumed we couldn't afford the venue. However, we were pleasantly surprised by Nick's willingness to work with us. Through the entire planning process, Nick and his team were so patient, responsive and helpful. He was a great communicator. When certain things got held-up/delayed, he would call just to give me regular updates. Wedding planning is stressful, so I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and responsiveness. Nick is awesome. But it's not just Nick... Ali at the Grammy Museum, Jessica at Wolfgang Puck Catering - everybody was amazing. Very flexible, very responsive, and so kind... The food was amazing, but I'll save that for my Wolfgang Puck Catering review (that Chicken Pot Pie... DAMN!). Our guests were amazed with the venue, especially at night when the city lights came on. The venue speaks for itself. Look at pictures, schedule a visit... it is a no-brainer. And I assure you, the Terrace team is amazing. You are in GREAT hands.

For our particular event, there was a long table set up on the right side for a minimal offering of food while there was random furniture set up throughout the venue along with a couple of photo booths. Considering the previous years party was actually AT work, Candela was a nice upgrade!

Inside, there was enough room for a stage for speakers, a little backstage area for the speakers to congregate, counter space to serve food and drinks, space to sell merchandise, and an almost enclosed space for a separate session. Outdoors, there was seating for meals and open grassy and first space with tents for any outdoor programming. The event organizers rented some fancy outdoor temporary restrooms, so I'm unsure if Rolling Greens has restrooms at all or if they had restrooms, but it wasn't sufficient for our large gathering. I saw there was also parking available inside the gates that you can close, though for the event I attended, the parking spots were not utilized and we had to take the drawn parking spots outside, find street parking (which wasn't too bad), or do valet.
