Read This! This dealership has blown my expectations out of the water! I purchased this absolutely gorgeous Range Rover HST from them. They explained to me that they check the car throughly before selling. I hear this from dealerships all the time, I look at how they follow through with their promises. After driving my new car for a day, the breaks started to squeak. So I came in to check them out. after seeing the brakes, wjth my own eyes, I knew they did there due diligence. BUT not only did they see me right away, even through the brakes are perfrct and should be working fine. They told me that they'll replace the rotors and pads anyway!! Thats a 1000 dollar job at minimum for brakes that in my opinion are perfect. So they definitely have won over my business and I will be buying more cars from them very soon!!! read more

This is a long overdue review but I can't say enough about their service department. I thought I had a dead keyfob which when I walked over there from Wawa they gave me one to try even though I offered to pay. They then drove me back to my car. It ended up being a dead battery. They jumped me and advised me to get it tested to save me the fee they would have to charge. I got it tested and went back. They replaced my batteries within 20 minutes. Stellar service! Don't be fooled by these guys. At the end of the day they are used car salesmen. Whatever promises they make don't believe them. Have the car checked by an independent certified mechanic. If they refuse to allow an inspection, walk away. Remember, they are trying to sell you someone's else problem at a profit. read more

Great car lot and service. Probably the coolest showroom that I have ever seen!

Get an inspection minimum. Agreed to buy a classic Mustang pending inspection. During initial inquiry and subsequent conversations, I made it clear I was looking for a car with no frame issues, no significant rust..i.e. no sheet metal work needed. Dealership represented the car as needing nothing but paint. They stated that over and over. I even rephrased it as 'no mechanical issues, no undercarriage issue, no rust (light surface rust OK) or body issues....that frame work was a deal breaker. "Just needs to be repainted." I reviewed the 200+ pictures from my inspector. The mechanical work including dress up looks proper and clean. Was very satisfied with the work. The car from the body line up had no issues. Interior revealed no issues. Below the body line, in the trunk, and the undercarriage were a different car. I have many photos I would love to post to refute which I'm sure the dealership would do / will do, on this review. I even sent Jonathan a few key pictures of the split frame rail and rust areas. He continued to indicate that he and his mechanics do not see it. Now from a typical dealer, I would expect that kind of response since to state otherwise would make them liable for mis-representing the car. But Jonathan Motors claims to not be like any other dealer. If they truly walked the talk and didn't know about the issues (should have been glaringly obvious to a mechanic or anyone else who buys classics), I would have expected a very different response with me. Instead of just refunding my deposit and wishing me well, they were accusatory toward my inspector and lightly attacked me ("you didn't see this car with your own eyes") In the end, I offered to take a day off work, fly out to the dealership, ignore the frame rail issue (btw, he claimed the split frame rail could be from a tow truck), and if none of the rust bubbles and rusted trunk match what I have pictures of, I will buy it at the agreed price. But if they do exist, then he pays 3/4 of what it cost me to hire the inspector. Of course he didn't take me up on the offer. Pictures don't lie. Proof of the value in hiring an inspector. Saved me over $40,000. read more

Very disconcerted with this used car establishment. I purchased a car from here and was sold a Diamond warranty that cost over $3000 dollars. The salesmen indicated the warranty would provide me with "worry free" coverage, equationg the coverage to that of a pre-certified car you would find at your local premier dealerships. They were so sure of the car's integrity they would not allow me to have another mechanic check the car out. On the very first night I noticed small oil spots leaking from the car. I called Jonathan Motors to tell them I had to add an entire quart of oil they told me that this particular car burn's oil when in reality they knew exactly what was going on! I could have taken the car back at that point but beause of their assurances and good reviewsI I trusted them! Later on my inquiries with the warranty company were answered promptly telling me that the warranty did not cover such an issue. Jonathan Motors gladly offerred to repair the item charging me approximately $2700. Fast forward, the engine started to emit plumes of smoke from the exhaust, and once again not to my surprise the warranty does not cover this repair that is estimated to cost upwards to $9000! I spoke to the owner Mr. Arnold three months ago to no avail. He even went as far as suggesting as he phrased it with a "dirty pool" option suggesting I could sell the car in the winter because the smoke from the exhaust would be less noticeable to the potential buyer(perhaps he was not aware that I purchased the car from him in the winter!). As a consolation, he offered to obtained a refund from the warranty he sold me but to date has not followed through with this leaving me the customer to figure things out. I've always considered myself as a reasonable person and fair minded. I am disappointed in their tactics and poor customer services all for the bottom line so that they can profit by exploiting a customer's trust and belief that honesty existed among the staff. This unsettling experience with Jonathan Motors speaks volumes to the integrity and selling practices of this establishment...BUYER BEWARE!!! W. Evans. read more

I bought a 2013 Ford F150 a couple of months ago. I drove over an hour to get to Jonathan Motorcars. I was a little skeptical at first, as it was not a major dealership. After looking at the website and realizing they have been in business for many years, I thought they must be ok, or they would have been out of business. I pulled in the parking lot, and was impressed very clean and upscale looking inside. From start to finish, the process was easy, and the staff was professional and courteous. Unlike most places I have gone where the impression is I owe them my business. At Jonathan Motorcars. I felt as if they wanted my business, and were willing to work for it. A very respectful and class act. The truck was in good shape, and when I asked about any flaws as it was a used car, they showed them to me, not trying to hide them. I have been looking to trade in my car and buy a new car for several weeks, I talked to probably a hundred dealers and people just wanting to rip me off. I arrived at Jonathanâs Motor cars dealership and was amazed by the exterior and interior of the property. From the salesman I spoke with, Michael to the owner we spent hours with Andy, the whole experience was truly amazingâ We did not feel pressured ONE time, we didnât feel forced to buy anything we felt like family. I left Jonathanâs knowing 10x more about cars then when we walked in. I will refer everyone I know to go here if looking to buy a preowned car. Andy (owner) does all work in house at dealership he doesnât believe in sending anything out for others to do the work. He trusts the men he has hired. He himself and the five salesmen that do work for him are very trustworthy and make you feel like family not like just another âvictimâ. My husband and I are in the military and most likely wont be stationed here in Jersey to much longer, we are sad we wont have Jonathanâs shop right around the corner. Do yourself a favor and go here! My husband bought his car in for a new computer system to be installed. It has been there for a little over 8 months & the job isn't complete. He has been going back & forth with the mechanic to figure out when he is getting his car back & all he keeps saying is that the engine is at the machine shop & that it is their fault. Finally my husband said give me a date of when my car will be finished & the mechanic's response was that he doesn't bake cakes. We had to get a lawyer involved & once the owner found out his reaction was not to fix the problem, it is to give us back the car the original way that it was given to them. On top of that they are trying to keep the almost $4000 that we put as a deposit for the labor of removing the engine to install the computer that we are not getting and for putting the engine back into the car. We have contacted consumer affairs, the better business bureau, local media & also our attorney to proceed with filing a lawsuit against them. We were never provided an estimate of the work, which makes them in violation of the consumer fraud act, which the owner admitted that he was in violation. I would not recommend this place for even an oil change! I called the owner to have him explain to me how he thinks that 1st this is legal & 2nd good business practice & he informed me that when there issues like this his solution is to just wash his hands of the problem & therefore would not complete the work, keep our money & return our car the same way it was 8 months ago. On top of that they have been keeping a garage stored car outside in the open for the past 8 months. read more
