Horrible service department. Had my car in for oil change, 4 wheel alignment and maintenance safety inspection. After leaving dealership service, driving 38 miles home, I smelled burning oil when I pulled into my garage. After checking engine area, oil filter was leaking and oil pan bolt was leaking as well. Out of now serious concerns, I drove up the street, 2 miles to tires pluse. They checked vehicle and documented oil filter has slight leak as well as oil pan bolt. I called dealership and informed John in City Auto Park Service Dept. Car was returned to dealership the next day. Oil pan bolt was properly repaired. Before leaving the dealership, I checked the engine area myself. Noticed washer fluid was never topped off. This is related to the service department written service report as to doing a safety maintenance inspection performed. If so, fluid would have been topped off and this oil leak would have been quickly found before the vehicle was even lowered down from service. Upon returning the next day for the service department to fix there incompetent and poor service mistakes, I ask to speak with the service manager Scott. Service manager would not speak to me. I had to ask to speak now with the dealerships owner. A lady, Ginny the owners assistant came out. After speaking with Ginny and feeling I had to argue my serious issues with the service department, I was offered a $20 credit for gas. Poor customer service, poor car care service and misrepresentation of service as to maintenance inspection. This incompetent service could have led to serious engine failure with leaking oil. After checking other yelp reviews, this dealerships service department has serious problems and lead by what appears to be an incompetent service manager, Scott. Extremely unhappy with the customer service from this dealership. I purchased a used 2013 Dodge Durango in late November. The vehicle was sold to me with a large gouge in the driver side door that had been covered up with touch up paint that I did not notice until after I brought the vehicle home. After noticing it, I immediately contacted my sales rep from the dealership and advised them of the situation, the sales rep told me he would have to speak with his sales manager after the weekend and he would get back to me. Several days went by and I was not contacted. I called, texted and left voicemails for the sales rep for almost a week before I finally got a response. I was told that body damage was not covered under the warranty. I asked for clarification because I was not the one responsible for the damage and again I never received a response. I also realized the vehicle was sold to me with no owners manual and without the emergency flashlight that it is suppose to come equipped with. Again I emailed the sales rep and never received a response about obtaining those items. There were also several issues getting my vehicle tagged and titled because I lived in a different state. I received a call from the finance manager one morning after my temporary tag had already expired, telling me that my tags were not processed and I had to pay an additional $267 to get my tags even after I made a down payment of more than $2000 which was suppose to cover taxes, title and fees. I asked him if I could call him a few hours later to discuss it with him further and he advised that would be fine as he would be in the office until about 5pm. Needless to say, I called between 3:30 and 4pm and he was not there so I left a voicemail. I called again the next day and he was again unavailable. I called once again the following day and he was still unavailable. On the 3rd day I left a second voicemail. Still no response. Even after 2 voicemails, I still had to call one more time in order to speak with the finance manager. Now it's almost a full month after I purchased my vehicle and I am STILL waiting on my tags. The Durango itself is fantastic and I love it. I just highly recommend buying it from another dealer. read more

We came to this dealership on a Saturday to test drive and hopefully buy a car that I had been shopping around for. We worked with Rob Williams, the sales associate. When we sat down to go over numbers and discuss the trade in value of my car, things started to go south. While my trade in does indeed have damage, we had had it appraised at 2-3 other locations prior, and each location offered between $2000-3000 for the vehicle. We were told that they would offer us no more than $100. When we asked for an explanation and countered this insulting offer, Rob became increasingly aggressive and rude, calling us liars, being extremely argumentative, and coming up with a variety of unrelated reasons as to why he was right, and we were wrong (NOT normal haggling, which we were prepared for). He brought in the floor manager, Joe, who came over to speak with us. Joe was equally rude and aggressive; very arrogant, spent 2-3 minutes with us, and then got up abruptly and left the conversation. We followed suit and left the dealership, stunned by the treatment we received and the ludicrous offer they gave us for my car. Monday arrives. My husband decides to reach out to the general manager of the store to complain about the treatment we received on Saturday. The general manager, Mike, was easy to work with and nice and said he would see what he could do for us to remedy the situation. He agreed upon a trade in value of $2000, so we decided that although we were very displeased with the service on Saturday, that we were in a bit of a bind because of the limited amount of these types of cars, and the fact that I am 9 months pregnant, and we are buying this car to prepare for our addition to our family, time is an issue here as well. So, we moved forward with them. We began to get everything in order, insurance, already had secured financing, etc... Tuesday arrives. I get a congratulatory call from Rob on the purchase of this new car, verified some information for him, sent over insurance id cards, the buyer's agreement was signed and faxed. We had an appointment to go pick up the car at 7:00 p.m. While on the phone, Rob stated, "see you at 7:00." He ALSO went on an unprompted tangent in the middle of asking me for my address again, about how crappy of a deal this is for the dealership, and how he doesn't know why they are doing this.. he guessed it was because it was the end of the month... then went on to talk about Joe's behavior on Saturday, stating that it was "above his pay grade" to make decisions on a car trade in value (this was the floor manager) and again, continued to talk in a way that assumes that we owe him something, that they are doing such a huge favor for us. Just completely unprofessional, unwarranted, and just such an awful experience for no apparent reason. It is now about 4:00 and I get a call from my husband, stating that he had just heard from Rob, who said the car had been sold (was actually being sold as he was on the phone with him, and did absolutely nothing to stop it). As a matter of fact, Rob stated that he was doing us a FAVOR by calling us, that he didn't even have to do that, and that he had children older than my husband and didn't have to listen to his complaints/frustration/anger. The pure arrogance of this man is astonishing, and for what he feels he should be arrogant about, I'm not sure. He is incompetent, unprofessional, and just an all around awful person. Who does something like that? It's extremely bad business, and I truly hope you do not pursue buying your next vehicle at this dealership. Mike, the general manager, called several hours later,after several messages were left for him from us, stating that he was unaware of any of this occurring, was apologetic, however, the damage has been done. I recently bought a used 2011 STI at this dealership and after having the car for a few weeks found out it had a major transmission issue. I contacted the dealership as the car had the standard NJ 2 month warranty you get when you buy a new car with a certain amount of miles. I was hoping I would have no issues as I know dealerships can be difficult to deal with. However Gus Orsi the manager at City Dodge had me bring the car in and accepted that it was a major issue. They arranged to get it fixed at a Subaru Dealership and $4000 later and no cost to me they gave it back to me all fixed up. They even covered the cost to install a new clutch which I know is not hard to do when the transmission is out of the car but still they did it. Thanks Gus. This is a great dealership. read more

Today my son purchased. a 2013 Dodge Dart Rallye. The process went smooth and relatively pain free. The car was "Certified" and the test drive was fine but as he was driving off the lot heard brakes squeeking. Turns out that one brake pad was BROKEN and that a piece of the pad was stuck. How does this happen? Manager said they would recertify the car but do you trust that at this point? Car is not safe to drive with broken pad. Wont be fixed until tomorrow. I contacted this dealer about a used car. After telling the salesman what I wanted, 3rd row seat, all wheel drive because I tow a boat, V6 and a dark color, the salesman Mo, told me he couldn't deliver that used car. But he could deliver a new car. Just without the V6. Never did he mention anything else. He also promised to have the car ready, paperwork done, and car full of gas when I got there. we had to drive about 70 miles to get the car. We waited well over an hour and come to find out, the car wasn't ready. And when it was ready, the gas tank wasn't even half full. I bought the car, and I went to have a trailer hitch installed this past week, I was informed that my brand new truck was NOT all wheel drive. I contacted the dealership. with no resolution. at first Mo denied. Said he gave me what I asked for. Then when I told him that I have the text messages printed out, he offered to take the car back and give me what was originally promised. but wants more money for it. All I want is what I asked for at the price they quoted me. Nothing more. I was NEVER told that I wasn't getting all wheel drive. His claim now is that I have to have the V6 to get all wheel drive. but when I asked why he didnt make that clear BEFORE the purchase, he had no answer. read more

Post-sale customer service has been horrid. Sale itself with Mo was fine - easy, polite, fast. They said they'd take care of getting out of state plates lined up. It's now 2 months later - no plates. More frustrating is that they don't even have the courtesy to return a phone call or e-mail. All communications to Mo and Mauricio seem to go into a black hole. Where shall we star. I purchased a certified pre owned 2014 Jeep Patroit in August of 2016. Loved our salesman Mo he was the best.The staff is awesome. The problem is their service center. After the purchase the car had issue after issue with brakes from October forward it was in and out of service multiple times for a squeak and brake issues along with thumping and creaking in the front end finally the fourth time the jeep brakes seemed to be corrected. In July the car had a throttle body light turn on and the car would kickback and try to stall while driving. I took it in on July 28 2017 to see my service adviser. He could not look at the code since it was stored he would not drive it to feel the issue told me to keep on my oil changes. Which I do just not there. Since they could not fix brakes after 4 tries I take my car elsewhere for anything not under the extended warranty. Had the oil changed and they test drove the car and could not believe they let me leave with it running like that they thought it was unsafe to drive this was in July. It seemed to not act up as much so I thought well just maybe it was the heat causing the issue. It never went fully away just not acting up as much as it was. Well now the throttle body issue is back the car is stuck broken down and I find out the warranty tow package is within 10 miles or I have to pay. Why should I pay for their negligence. Funny when I bought the extended warranty they failed to mention the 10 mile clause for towing. I called to get it towed and fixed and since I am beyond the 10 mile they told me to take it to LUCAS Dodge. Why they are not the dealer that failed to fix it when it was driven there in JULY. Why should their customers who in good faith buy their extended warranties have to pay for a tow over 10 miles? Why should anyone purchase a car there that does not live within 10 miles then? Sales staff is great getting service done correctly on your vehicle is a waste of time and if you don't live local I suggest you buy AAA plus. So if it does break down which it will you can afford to get it towed there. read more

Not a very responsive dealership. I must say I have bought maybe 7 or 8 brand new vehicles from various dealerships in my adult life and so I thought I would give this place a try during my next purchase. Needless to say absolutely horrible! 3 weeks ago I initiated contact to inquire about a Dodge Ram for both Lease and Purchase. Now with just coming off unemployment my credit wasn't the best so I was told from the beginning that I would not be able to lease a vehicle. I was ok with that so I asked about purchasing. 3 weeks have gone by and not only have I reached out to them multiple times (Specifically salesman GL), I have reached out to them through text, phone calls and emails. Every time it seemed like he wasn't sure what I was doing. He also told me he would get back with me right away with the information. I would wait for 3 or 4 days and then initiate another call or text. Then it was one excuse or another that led me to realize he wasn't sure what I was doing. Simple, buy a truck. Even as I write this now, he told me he would get with me last Saturday with the information. It is now Wednesday. I'm not sure he or their finance manager knows what they are doing. Needless to say I cannot wait until he actually calls me, because I went to their competitor (Mt Ephraim Jeep Dodge Chrysler) and within 3 hours had bought a truck. went in to see if we could find a deal on a new dodge, intinally we looked at the new dodge dart but quickly discovered that chrysler had a 3500 rebate on 2013 dodge avenger's, our salesperson carl collins was a true professional and di every thing possible to get the deal bought, however another dealer Green Brook GMC in Green Brook NJ who had sold us our last car had continued to run our credit ( for what reason remains a mystery ) and took our credit score down from a 710 to 590 and as a result no bank would finance us, this wasn't city auto parks problem but they had to deal with the aftermath and we left without a car. non the less i would reccommend carl collins as your salesperson because i haven't seen a car salesperson take the time and effort to get the deal bought and when our credit rating settles down i will be sure to stop back here and do the voo doo they do again, good people, rare now a days read more

I won't even give this place one star of a rating, the service department especially Mike treats you like you're an idiot, not to mention extremely rude. They are the biggest rip offs in dealership history. They overcharge, and frankly never fix what's been paid to be fixed! I've been charged several times now for a deductible for the vehicle having to be towed to them three times now for the same thing. I even gave this dealership another chance after they smashed my husbands chrylser 200 while up on the lift doing an oil change, and as we came to find out because after two weeks of not hearing anything for just an oil change we went up there and low and behold we find out the vehicle was sitting in a body shop in Bristol Pa without our knowledge. The manager Mike was basically going to try to cover it up!!! Even still I figured accidents happened, we assumed he would be fired or at least dealt with and now we know he still works there, he's still lying to customers as I heard two customers were cursing him out the night I picked up my vehicle. This is unacceptable in every way as a business to treat people this way! I urge you to never do business with them unless you like getting treated as an idiot and like being scammed out of money! Just purchased a brand new 2014 Dodge Charger R/T, this vehicle only had seven miles on the odometer. While test driving it my wife and I noticed the ride was a bit rougher than what we thought it should be. The person selling us the vehicle (also in the car with us while test driving) assured us it was just the road we were on, so we went ahead with the purchase. Three days later and several roads traveled the ride is still as rough as that day, so I took the car back to them informing them of this. I was told by their service department that the tires do in fact have flat spots on them from sitting on their lot for several months without being moved. Being that this issue is of no fault of mine, and when purchasing a brand new vehicle you go in believing everything on that said vehicle will be of optimal condition I thought they would replace the tires. Nope. I was informed that per their policy the tires are not covered under warranty (even though my wife and I bought every one of their add on warranties) apparently it does us no good whatsoever. Point of this review, just warning all others to check the tires before you buy a vehicle from this place! read more
