Buffalo Chicken Dip
Jeremy P.

Jonathan's Grille is always a solid choice when making lunch or dinner plans. The buffalo chicken dip is small in portion but very excellent in taste. The servers are usually attentive and willing to make sure your order is correct. I recommend going on Tuesday's when they have their buy one pizza get one free. This location in Brentwood use to be the former Chili's building and it is well kept, nice and clean.

Stayed over at Comfort Suites on our way back from Florida. The girl at the desk suggested this "new" restaurant that we could walk to. Turns out, there are a few of these Jonathan Grilles near Nashville. We were happy to get seated in the bar area and were waited on quickly-although the place was full. TVs everywhere with every football game you could imagine. Lots of people interacting. Quiet but noisy. Happy hour on Saturday 3-7 pm 2 for 1 beer specials. Typical prices with a wide variety of choices.

The service was friendly and helpful, it's a large place with plenty of seating. The menu reminded me of cheesecake factory in the sense that there's a little bit of everything. There's pasta, sandwiches, egg roll appetizers, steak, something for everyone. I got the Steak Frites, it was $24 which I thought was reasonably priced. The steak was cooked medium rare and was very good. It came with a chimichurri sauce that I think could have been a little more flavorful. Came with fries and a side salad which were fine but nothing special. This is a good place to meet with friends or family.

So glad Jonathan's opened one in Brentwood. They season everything well, they have a large menu, basically something for everyone. I love the Horseshoe but my diet does not! The servers are great but the place is loud and some nights inexplicably busy! Try it!

This restaurant is brand new, open 2 weeks and packed. Lots of tv's around the bar. They have a lot on their menu, avg for today's prices. They do have drink specials, even on weekends. I ordered the Spring Salad, they offer 1/2 size on all of the salads. The 1/2 was plenty for me. They topped it with lots of chicken and strawberries. Very yummy.

$0,75 for a big cube for a $13 pour of bourbon! One and done. Most absurd restaurant charge I have ever paid in my life!!!

My confession, this was not my first trip to Crieve Hall Bagel Co. and I have no idea why it's…read moretaken so long to post a review. It's in a small shopping center at the north limits of the Crieve Hall neighborhood. You can normally find a parking spot in the lot or if you know someone in the neighborhood, walking is an option too. Walk in and order at the counter. Be sure to check the available bagels that day AND any specials, especially the cinnamon bun special. Every time I have been, the staff has been extremely helpful as you navigate the choices. (note - there is a separate window outside to pickup online orders, delivery orders etc. so that helps with inside congestion). There is almost always a line but it moves quickly. On my last visit, they had just completed the March Madness bracket and were featuring the Cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese- $1. As I said, always check the special! They will feature some interesting coffees, bagels varieties and let's talk about the Cinnamon Roll. The first time I sampled the Cinnamon Roll special it was a blueberry pancake version, imagine an amazing cinnamon roll(yes, it's sweet but not overly and has great flavor), with blueberries and cream on top! The only downside is they are very large, but that means you get one to share with your people. Their bagels are really good! You can eat them plain or get some spread for them. (note that bulk bagel orders are not sliced). They also have breakfast sandwiches. To top it off, this has the feel of a real neighborhood spot. Plenty of folks greeting each other, friends connecting, families gathering. Indoor seating with books for the wee folks and some outdoor tables too. I understand they have another location but this is original CHBCO. Definitely worth checking it out!

Our quest continues for the perfect, true, New York style bagel in Nashville. Unfortunately, this…read moreplace didn't quite hit the mark. that said, it was very busy, and seems to scratch an itch for many. Especially those under the age of 35. Having enjoyed great bagels over the years in Nashville, as well as on our travels to New York and other places, bagels in general in Nashville just aren't very good. We had high hopes for Crieve Hall when we found it, but our Takeaway evaluation was simply: meh.
