I understand servers and restaurants can get overwhelmed and busy - I have been there. All I ask is for if servers are having a hard time/ bad day, is to try their best to be transparent or clean there slate for new tables. When waiting for 15+ minutes for drinks/ apps after seeing the server go by multiple times and not once ask if ok, is a little disappointing. On top, when there are deals going on and they see their customers ordering something on the deals, but maybe the wrong size- to be vocal if they are aware. read more

Stopped in at the Jonathan's in Gallatin for lunch today with my wife. We hadn't been to any of the other Jonathan's for a while because the one in MJ isn't clean. However this was quite a surprise. Morgan our server was great and had several recommendations. The food, service and overall atmosphere was very nice and CLEAN. We will be back. read more

Good food and good service at a fair price. Food portions are very generous. If you're looking to have conversation with others at your table, this isn't the place. Music is too loud coupled with high ceiling and concrete floors makes it almost impossible to hear anything. This isn't any different than other Jonathan's. read more

I'm from downtown Nashville. I work in the industry. We came to Gallatin for a funeral. Following the funeral, we went to Jonathan's Grille. Since it is one of the newer establishments in the area, it was very busy. We had a group of 15-20 people. When we arrived, Bailey, the hostess, got us on a wait but also got us the manager on duty, Bryan, to help us with our needs. Bryan directed us to their 21+ patio which was EXACTLY what we wanted. Audrey, our server, was VERY attentive to our groups' needs. We were all on separate checks and several of us came in separately. I cannot express enough how the Jonathan Grill team made our night exactly as it needed to be. Thank you for making us a priority during your volume business!!! read more

Great team here! Was just here while an emergency weather situation came to Gallatin ( tornado!) The manager, Brian handled it in a professional manner with the safety of all in mind. We basically had a tornado over our heads; he started moving folks to the back hallway and eventually to the back cooler and kitchen. We all felt the pressure drop as this dangerous tornado went over our city. Everything was safe and orderly and Brian and his staff are to be commended for this. 4 in our party and half our meals were good and half of our meals were not. One friend found hair in her salad and when she told the waitress, she kind of brushed it off grab the salad and ran away. We were told that the tap beers were buy one get one so my husband and I each got one, thinking he would get one and I would get one and one would be free. Instead, they brought us four beers at once. Personally, I cannot drink fast enough that my second beer wasn't yucky warm.when One would think a little common sense would be used and we would each get one of those beers and only charged for one. As well, be aware that they do charge you extra money for using a credit card. I guess they have it written in tiny print somewhere on their menu, but none of us saw that. There are plenty of other places to go and spend my money. I won't be coming back here again. read more

I never understood why a restaurant advertised "under new management " until here. Went here twice and both times left saying "I'll never eat here again". Screwed up and forgot food orders first time. Ordered to go the second and they completely forgot items and they left other get cold in the open as the prepared the missing ones. Just keep driving down the street and go somewhere else. read more

we had autumn as our server and she was amazing. we tipped her very well. the only downside to this experience was she had a table right next to us that was so unbelievably rude to her and everyone around. she told autumn to stop flirting with her husband because he is taken. we felt awful for her. autumn is phenomenal at her job and being professional. we love autumn everytime we came in!! if you come in i suggest requesting her if she's here! read more

Today at 1043 am I called the Gallatin location to order 2 chicken ceasar salads. The employee who answered the phone told me it would be a minimum of 20 minutes before the kitchen was ready to serve food. It was like he was trying to get rid of me. I agreed on a 1115 am pickup. Paid $40 for 2 salads and get home to discover NO dressing. So I am sitting here with 2 Salads and No dressing. If roads weren't so bad I would have went back. read more

Visited several of Johnathans location food is good, Ambiance is good Service is usually good. Only reason for the low rating is during my last visit to the Gallatin TN location we were charged $.75 for a large ice cube on a $12.50 pour of Bourbon. Then given a 3% charge for paying with a credit card on a $200 bill. With zero warning from the staff of these charges. Not a good look from my perspective. read more

CHOCOLATE CAKE RIP OFF! A group of us went to dinner to celebrate a friends birthday. We told the server about the birthday and were told that they don't do birthday celebrations, but he could bring a piece of chocolate cake. We said that would be fine, we didn't expect singing, etc. Our bill was over $300, and when we got home, we realized that they charged us $14.00 for the piece of cake! It was a regular sized piece of cake, nothing fancy...no candle. That is outrageous, especially on a bill of $300+. The food was good, service was good.....but I'm warning you NOT to order the chocolate cake! RIP OFF! I've never seen it that expensive at high end restaurants. read more

My husband and I came in for a visit with family, decided to go for a few beverages at this bar where the brother in law has been a local at. Night one we had a decent time no issues, paid our bar tab went on our way. Day two we made a return visit... just so happened to be there when the shifts were changing out, we gathered our bar tab from the bartender tipped her out and closed it out . ( should not be an issue correct? ) Wrong answer I guess! At the end of social visit there which was almost 1.5 hrs, it's time to settle up with the bar tab. We were presented with a tab for almost $200. which in case they said it was a partial tab from the night before..... that they "forgot" to include with the original tab that was PAID... nowadays how do you "forget" to collect on one tab? Keep in mind again... this was a single tab that all beverages were on. So in our minds, we paid three tabs that they combined all together. When we asked to view the bill they argued about the accuracy, we asked to speak with the manager to get an itemized receipt... no such luck! Our group of 4 ppl could not have consumed $170 worth of beverages in a matter of an almost 1.5 hrs between us there were 9 drinks served (after the shift change) our math points to that tallying upwards to the amount of maybe $80. Where does the additional $90 come from?! keep in mind, no shots or food were consumed. Again when asking to speak to the manager, he decides to kick us out and ban us instead of answering questions! EXACTLY what does this say about your staff? Happy, friendly...? Friendly enough to basically steal from you. read more
