Today was the third time I've been to Jonathan's And the last. The first time was shortly after it opened and the food was mediocre. The second time was with a group and I didn't choose this venue, and the food wasn't all that good. But today we went only to find 1) the hostesses were involved in something other than greeting and seating their guests; 2) the waitress was more interested in visiting with another table and 3) the food sucked. Ridiculous. Here is their version of bacon and avacado. Party of 5 - forgot a philly steak sandwich. When it arrived, they used chicken on a philly STEAK. Another ordered of bbq wings, they forgot the bbq sauce and then said they "make" the bbq and we would have to wait to for them to make it! One other guy on our table got their sandwich so early he was done before the second person's plate came out. Manager then only offered 50% off the ticket. She didn't care and because of my vantage I could see into the back hallway and I saw her roll her eyes after meeting with us. Never again will we ever come here. It's the worst experience ever! Very disappointed that we ordered and was charged for a 10 piece buffalo wings and Bison Burger and Fries meal. We received a 8 piece wing with hardly any buffalo sauce and an overcooked Bison burger. Not to mention there's no 8 Piece wings on the menu so I can't understand that error. And to makes matters worse the wings are dry and flavorless and I'm a flats person and there is 1 flat and 7 drumettes. I don't recommend this place at all. I placed an order online this afternoon at 12:08 pm. The confirmation said that it would be ready at 12:45 pm. It was just two salads, but during lunch rush, so it was fine. I had an errand to run before anyway, and I'd have time to get the order home before my next appointment. I arrived at the restaurant at 12:37 pm and went to the bar. The bartender went to the kitchen to check on it. He returned, telling me they were working on it and it would be just a couple of minutes. No problem - I was early anyway. I started getting antsy at 12:55 pm. He went back to the kitchen and came back a couple of minutes later, telling me that there was a problem in the kitchen and it may be a while. I told him I had somewhere to be and, given it was already 10 minutes late, I needed to cancel the order and wanted a refund. He went to get the manager. Jamie, the manager, asked if there was any way I could wait, as if my schedule was irrelevant. I said no. She asked if they could make the order and I could pick it up after my appointment. I explained that it was my lunch, I was hungry, and it wouldn't help me to have it later. I again requested a refund. She smiled, said she was sorry and asked my name. I walked out of there at 1 pm. It is now almost 4:30 and the charge for the order is still pending on my card. There is no credit pending. There are lots of things I have issue with here: If there was a problem in the kitchen when I placed the order, they could have called or texted me to let me know. They didn't. If there was a problem in the kitchen when I arrived 8 minutes early, they could have told me then. They didn't. If the problem occurred while I was waiting, they could have told me immediately so I could make adjustments. They didn't. While I waited, other food was coming out of the kitchen. I don't want to speculate on what was really going on, but I don't appreciate not being informed about a delay as soon as possible, nor the condescending way I was talked to when I decided to cancel and leave. If I don't see a credit by this time tomorrow, I'll be calling my bank and reporting the charge as fraudulent. At this point, it's theft for them to take my money. While I've never had a bad meal there, I will not return if this is how they treat their customers. If your time if valuable, I caution you to avoid them too. read more

I ate here today, it is close to my house. The owner here refuses to have rolls for the delight of the hard working customer. Of all the Jonathons I've been to, this is the only one that doesn't have bread rolls. How cheap is that?!?! All I want is a tasty roll with my soup and salad. read more

We love Jonathan's! We've been to the mount Juliet ones plenty of times for their bogo pizza nights. And now that there is one in Hendersonville we have the opportunity to visit much more often. They have good salads and drinks too. read more

Jonathan's is an upscale Sports Bar that has done an amazing job of hitting sports bar and female friendly. I would easily go with a group of girlfriends. The food also represents upscale pub food. They have a lovely selection of salads, sandwiches and entrees. They even offer a delicious gluten free crust for their pizzas. They have a full bar and a fairly decent wine selection for a sports bar. The atmosphere is comfortable but no too loud. Tons of TV's and sports on if you want to catch any kind of game. The noise level is perfect if you just want to catch up with friends in conversation. We have been several times and have been super pleased every time. Our server yesterday was Gracie who was lovely. When there was an issue with the gluten free pizza, Manager Chelsi handled it like a pro. She happily had the kitchen remake it for us. Went to Jonathan's in Hendersonville the other day to check things out since the restaurant is hopefully opening soon in Gallatin. Ta'lor Scarborough waited on us. Found out she was in training. She did an amazing job. She knew everything on the menu including food and drinks. Cajun wings were awesome and draft beer was cold. Made for a great night in this heat. Food was a 5. The reason they only receive a 1 from me is the lack of masks and social distancing! My husband and I sat in the bar and the tables were practically on top of each other. The tables next to us were taken within 10 minutes of us arriving and I felt very unsafe. There is a true disregard to their patrons by not even requiring their servers to wear masks. I will not be coming here ever again. I'd rather drive to Nashville to visit a restaurant and give them my money. I've been here for business lunches twice now, and I feel like I was able to carry on a semi-private conversation because of the spacing of the tables. The dining room is laid out strangely and kind of segmented, but I'm sure there's a good reason for it that I'm not privy to. The food is consistently decent, but nothing particularly spectacular. On my most recent visit, I tried the chicken lettuce wraps, which are listed as an appetizer, but are enough for a light meal (5-6 wraps). We had a great dining experience at Jonathan's tonight! Atmosphere was good. Bathroom was clean (always a bonus!). Our server, Tyleigh had a great attitude. This was my 1st visit to Jonathan's ever. Unfortunately, I can't say that I'd go back. We decided to have an early dinner here and walked in a little before 4 p.m. There were several young ladies crowded around the hostess desk when we walked in. I'm not certain who was a hostess and who was not, but I'm sure they all weren't hostesses. There was no wait, and we were seated immediately by a nice young lady. Soon after, our waitress came to get our order. We asked her about the drinks and drink specials, and she was not very knowledgeable. She acted as if she had not really tried much on the menu and was unable to really make any recommendations. We ordered lemon pepper wings as an appetizer and I ordered a Mai Tai, which was not on the menu but I was told by the waitress could still be made. Both the wings and the drink were absolutely terrible. Those were the worst lemon pepper wings I've ever had in my entire life. They were fried wings with the lemon pepper seasoning literally sprinkled on top. If I had tapped the wing hard enough, the lemon pepper seasoning would have just fallen off. And there was WAY too much of the seasoning on the wings. After about the 2nd or 3rd wing, I could not take anymore. They were so salty that I started sweating and had to stop eating them. To make matters worse, my drink was so weak that I sent it back. It was primarily juice with a very small splash of alcohol. I'm not a heavy drinker at all. However, it was weak even for my standards. We made the mistake of trying the Bam Bam shrimp, which were as equally underwhelming. They were stuck together and from the taste, we could easily tell they were frozen. For our entrees, my husband ordered the salmon, and I ordered a turkey burger and sweet potato fries. I tasted his salmon, and it was frozen as well and definitely not fresh. Even though it had teriyaki sauce over it, it was still pretty tasteless. Meanwhile, we saw several of the female "hostesses" or "waitress" (again, not sure who was who), gathered around in a circle around the cash register dancing (twerking) and what not....clearly not behaving as they should considering they were on the clock and in front of patrons. To add insult to injury, our bill was nearly $100 (with tip). It was a complete and total waste of time and money which was extremely surprising and disappointing considering the area (Indian Lake). Here is the problem with Jonathan's. You go in and are told the wait is 15 minutes, and 45 minutes you finally get seated, after watching almost everyone who arrived after you be seated first.
