They help you choose a wine you love instead of the one you settle for, and the vibe is immaculate.

Joneck's is absolutely breath of fresh air. For those unfamiliar with wine - give it a try! I swung by on a Friday evening with some friends and was hesitant since I'm not the biggest wine fan. However, the atmosphere of the bar is so good that anyone can have fun here. They have tons of games, fun sitting arrangements, and things to do that make it feel less stuffy than some wine bars feel like. I got the Italian spritz, which was served very quickly. The owners are so friendly and absolutely curate a wonderful environment. I'll be back!

Recently had the pleasure of checking out Jonecks new spot off J Street with my friend and I'm so glad we came in! This wine lounge is so cute inside, beautifully decorated, has a huge menu full of options, and the owners were super friendly. They answered questions we had and talked to us for a bit about their journey in the wine world and their new space. We had a great time trying wine while sitting and chatting at the bar and on the couch. The space is a bit smaller than some other wine places, but there is enough seating if you came with a small group or on a date.

Amazing vibes at Jonecks, omg! My friend and I stopped in one day for some wine and we had the best time. The wine is delicious with so many choices to choose from. The service was excellent. We were served as soon as we sat down. The ambiance is everything. I absolutely loved the decor in here. So vibrant and beautiful. I would recommend this place for a date night or girls night out. Please come see it for yourself!!

Such a cool vibe I almost want to gate keep! Amazing wine selection. Bathrooms available. They have a shelf of games to play. The owners were so kind to us and attentive but also left us alone to enjoy our drinks. We will be back! Loved the decor and lighting and music. 10/10 ambiance!

Jonecks new location on J street is perfect!! I was out walking the neighborhood and I passed by the Decor caught my eye. It is so vibrant and colorful and it looks so cozy. I had to go see. Todd and Renee welcome me like an old friend and I sat at the bar. Renee helps you discover all the flavors and the pallets of the wines that you never thought of and the prices of the glasses and bottles are wonderful. I love this place so much, I returned five times in a week and a half. I felt like Norm at cheers and everyone was so welcoming. You can order food and have it delivered for a small fee or you can get small bites from there. When I am back in Sacramento, it is a definite must go. My favorite drinks was the Moscato and the Bellini. I highly recommend!

The wine by the glass selection is extensive. Beer is available with styles you know but makers that will probably be new. A light food menu is available and shareable. Inside is bright with a bar top or comfortable seating throughout. Great if you want to get out for a glass of wine yourself or meet up with a group after work. Outdoor seating for 2 is out front. With more parking out back don't be discouraged if the spot on H are full. The service has always been welcoming and friendly. They can help with selection and recommendations based on your taste. If you enjoy wine and haven't been, you should stop in.

If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be here at least twice a week. Alas, I don't live nearby. So, I'll have to settle for swinging by when I'm visiting my cousin. Thankfully she likes wine so this is a no-brainer. Great vibe! Love the decor.... Really nice variety and options for wine.... Lovely people and owner running the place. Great place to chill with a book and glass of wine.... or hang out and chat with friends. Definitely will be back.

I stopped by Joneck Wine Bar in East Sacramento. I had a glass of wine there, and the place is very eclectic, colorful, and pretty. It's a good spot for a photo shoot and to enjoy some wine. I happened to be on a tour of East Sac and stopped in because I heard about this location on Good Day Sacramento. I'd love to go back for another experience when I have more time to sit and sip.

It was my first time at Jonecks and I was impressed by how chic it looks inside and yet warm. The wine selections are really good. The food was delicious , charcuterie was well presented. But most of all the owners, husband and wife were really welcoming and provide excellent service. I definitely recommend this place for hangout, good appetizers and have an excellent wine.

There's metered parking in the street just in front. They have a nice selection of wines and cocktails. Not the most expansive list, but a nicely curated one. Most recently, I tried the Pimms Rangoon (Gin, Ro Pimm's, fresh lemon, ginger, pineapple, fizzy water) and a wine that I can't recall. The cheeze whiz (house made whipped manchego and parm on crostini) is a must-have. The bread is wonderful as well as the cheese and olive. I'm usually not crazy about green olives, but it worked so well with the cheese. I've had tinned sardines in the past, and they were fine... along the lines of a tin of Fishwife. Next time, I'll probably try another bread & cheese dish. I like the kitschy vibe. And, our servers were nice both times I've gone. If I lived a little closer, I'd probably drop by more often, but I'll keep this place in mind when I want a drink and a small snack to go with it (and dessert at Ginger Elizabeth is next door!).

Came here for our monthly meet up with the girls and not gonna lie this was a disappointment. I have wanted to try this place for so long and it was mid at best. They didn't have a kitchen when I went so their food offerings were extremely limited which I didn't know before coming. The ambiance was great. While the space was small it packed a great punch. I will say our server disappeared and she was very short when she was unavailable. I came, I saw, it's unlikely I'll return given the many options in Sacramento and the surrounding areas. Go for the experience if you choose On the plus side we ended up at the dive bar Golden Bear after for pizza nachos and beer and I have found my new favorite dive bar so I'll call that a win!

This hidden gem offers an experience that's unlike anything else in the city. The setup is simple but charming: you literally walk up to a window and order your wine. I believe it's one ring for white, two for red, and three or four for sparkling--don't quote me on that, but it adds a playful, old-world vibe that makes the whole experience memorable. The Wine Window is affordable, laid-back, and surprisingly quaint. It's the kind of place where the ambiance, the people, and the energy make it feel more like an experience within an experience--not just a drink stop. I had the chance to chat with John, the owner, who shared a bit of the backstory. He previously owned a full wine room nearby, but when the pandemic hit, he had to pivot. Instead of calling it quits, he leaned into a smaller, more intimate concept inspired by wine windows in Europe. Honestly, I think the scale makes it even better. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while people-watching on L Street, and yes, there's even a restroom available (a rare but very appreciated amenity for this type of setup). If you find yourself downtown, do yourself a favor--swing by The Wine Window, have a chat with John, and enjoy a unique Sacramento experience.

Service was on point and attentive. The waitress even demonstrated the "chambong" that they have for $5 on happy hour.
