Cute wine bar in Midtown! My boyfriend and I stopped for a midday snack post the Crocker Museum and loved their charcuterie board! The toasted bread was absolutely delectable and a wonderful selection of cheese, pickled vegetables, and jam (and meats, but I didn't try). We also got the focaccia (mostly because of their limited vegetarian options), but it wasn't super flavorful and might need to come with something other than the butter. Loved the biscuit as a sweet treat, but a little dry. Would love to come back for wine! The ambiance is super cute and the service is great. 3.5-4 stars only because they could use more vegetarian options!
I ordered the Chorizo Sando and it was scrumptious. It consisted of a chorizo patty with egg, cheese, and aioli in the center of a biscuit. The biscuit was very flaky and buttery which complimented the ingredients well. The size and portion was small for the price as it cost $11. The carrot tea was interesting as it tasted like an herbal tea with a very slight hint of carrot flavor. Service was excellent as the employee was friendly. There are is a huge selection of wine in the racks on the walls. The building is of an older construction with tall vaulted ceilings with a center ridge beam which provided a very homey feeling unlike many businesses that feature modern/industrialized construction. Parking is free and easy to find in this residential area.
I visited Betty in the morning. I wanted to try the Shakshuka, but they didn't have it the morning I visited. We ended up with the Chorizo Biscuit Sando and Carrot Tea Latte. The flavor of the latte was good, nice balance of sweetness with the spices; I enjoyed it. The Sando was tiny, but the flavor was great as well. Service wasn't very attentive, despite it being very slow. They left soon after explaining we order at the counter, and it took a long time for them to return to the counter so I could order. Later, I heard the cook saying "order" (meaning the order was out) a couple times, before it was noticed and brought to our table. It's a small place but still had a roomy feel, likely due to the vaulted ceiling. Would return, as I really did enjoy the items I tried off the menu.
Visiting Sacramento and was looking for a coffee cafe to work for a few hours. Boy, did we find a good place. We got there just as the menu turned over to lunch. We ordered filter coffee - nothing fancy but very revealing about the cafe. You get me?? The Betty cookie and banana bread was delicious. THE BETTA MUFFALETTA was crazy good. Such a surprise. Service was very attentive. Ambiance was a real vibe. We'll be back on our next visit.

Betty Wine Shop is such a good little spot. Easy walk from our loft, which makes it even better. it felt like the perfect little neighborhood spot. Cute, curated, great wine selection, and a really easy, welcoming energy. The staff was friendly. Really solid wine selection--lots of options without it feeling overwhelming. We sat at one of the high-top tables and ordered oysters, which were great. There's also a small patio in the back that's really cute. Just a good, relaxed vibe all around. We are def going back!

This cozy and casual wine bar feels sophisticated enough for date night, but is unpretentious and charming, serving coffee and pastries, small plates and savory snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and wine. Our focaccia with miso butter, Betty salad, and fancy French onion dip with house made potato chips made for a nice late night snack The non-alcoholic drinks were surprisingly the best part of the night - I had a cherry limeade and then asked for an Italian soda for the road. Service is attentive but not intrusive, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu.
Been here a few times, both on a Friday night and a Monday late morning. Friday night around 7ish was busy but we were able to get a table. Shared some salad and bread and it filled us up perfectly without it being overdone. We weren't too hungry that day but wanted something to get us through the night. You pay at the counter. Great customer service and they were helpful with food + wine pairings. There is outdoor seating but honesty plan accordingly because it can get crowded. I'd say this is more of a date night / 2-4 person hangout unless you get a spot in the couches and table in the back. Will deffo come back when I'm back in Sac.
Charming and comfortable little restaurant. The outdoor dining area was very relaxing. We ordered several dishes and everything was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. I had the chorizo breakfast biscuit and was pleasantly surprised that the chorizo was milder than what I'm used to. Their baked goods were the star of the show. It is also reasonably priced.

This place is super cute - big glass windows, feels high end yet still welcoming and accessible. We order at the counter. We came here on a Sunday around noon and there was plenty of seating and parking spaces available. I ordered the Shakusha ($13) and salted mocha ($8) (it felt too early for wine) and my friend got the Mac and cheese. The Shakusha was so good! Very nicely seasoned, and even better than Sibling's at Puskins (IMO). The house made focassia was so tender and comforting and had a little salt on it. Would definitely order again. The salted mocha was just okay, I'll probably try their tea or wine next time. This place is great for brunch, romantic date night, girls' get together, etc. Just overall really loved the vibe and I'll definitely be back for their dinner menu!

This wine bar is absolutely adorable, big windows for beautiful natural light in the day and a romantic atmosphere at night. The staff were nice, the menu was decently packed with various drinks to try from, and they also had a nice looking food menu. The prices were standard, a bit on the pricier side I would say. Our two glasses of wine cost almost as much as a bottle. We didn't get anything to eat, so that will be my next adventure when I come here. I'll also want to come for breakfast/brunch because the reviews look like it won't disappoint. When we came it was pretty busy, lots of people enjoying time either on dates or in small groups. Would definitely come back!

Still one of my favorite local wine bars! Came here with a group and shared charcuterie tray and oysters. They were offering a tasting for $24 of four Italian wines from the Piedmont district. Wonderful experience and the pourer was very knowledgeable and educated us on the region and The tastes. I'm really excited to hear about the Sunday supper club, and can't wait to try one of those. Betty' is a special place - love the wines, people and setup! First time at Betty's and we'll definitely be back. The lamb meatballs were a standout -- perfectly seasoned and tender -- and the chorizo mac and cheese was rich and satisfying with just the right kick. Definitely order both. For dessert, the affogato was a nice treat, and the panna cotta was good but could use a stronger coffee flavor to really take it to the next level. The outdoor seating was a genuine highlight. Cool, calm, and a nice escape from the usual restaurant buzz -- exactly the kind of vibe that makes you want to linger over another glass of wine. read more
Rarely do I ever go to a place and it's 5 stars off the bat! I didn't know what to expect from this location. They blend in quite well with the neighborhood, and are located across the street from one of my favorite Thai restaurants. As soon as we came in service was so kind and made us feel welcome. The staff (Bella and Alexa) were so kind to us the entire time, and when we left they even suggested we come to their events since we loved the food so much. Yes and yes!! We ordered a pairing of their best selling green curry ceviche complimented by a Riesling. we also ordered the Thai beef tartare. Ok, at first bite of the tartare... FLAVOR! It was so delicious and paired well with the Riesling. The green curry ceviche was refreshing crunchy and zesty. The beef tartare is the best in the Sacramento area hands down. We sat outdoors, and we saw that it would make a great space for intimate gatherings. I reckon as the weather gets warmer I may opt for indoor seating, but this option is definitely worth coming back for. I couldn't recommend this place any more. We snagged a cookie on the way out and NO WAY THAT BETTY COOKIE was one of the best things I've eaten. They bake too?? AND they open at 7 for my return to office mandate :( I love it here read more

Betty- located on T street! This is my updated review. 2 years ago when you first opened I was really disappointed! However, you have turned things around!!! The full menu, is amazing, the outdoor patio is beautiful, the food is sooooo good! You have really friendly staff! I also LOVE that you serve anything from your coffee menu anytime of the day! The house made focaccia is seriously heavenly.. along with the house made butter! The charcuterie board was really good and a wide variety of options! The ambiance is so good! Betty is tucked in a cute neighborhood and has an equally charming space. The interior is nicely decorated, and there's even a back patio. While I liked the cozy vibe inside, I didn't love that the windows were covered with curtains, it would've been nice to enjoy the view of the street outside. My husband ordered the chorizo biscuit, which was tasty but didn't stand out much from a regular sausage biscuit. I went with the shakshuka since I'd been craving it. It had a nice little kick, but it didn't quite hit the spot for me. Not bad, just not what I was hoping for. I also wasn't a fan of the bread it came with; it didn't pair well in my opinion. read more

The food is unique, light and flavorful. I loved the service because as soon as you walk in the staff greets you with a warm smile and a menu. It is open seating and you order at the counter. We grabbed a seat near the front bay window as we strategically agreed to try 75% of the delicious menu. The wine specials are exquisite and there are wine pairings with most of the menu items. We tried the French Onion dip, lamb meatballs, wild mushroom risotto, and macaroni and cheese. I'm already plotting my next visit so I can try the Betty salad! Chef's kiss read more
Betty is such a cute spot. They've continued to adjust as the business is around longer and there have been fun additions like coffee. They have a welcoming dining area up front and a beautiful outdoor area as well. The menu has a lot of great options and I love that they have "Perfect Pairing" suggestions with pricing listed. Check out their social media for fun tasting events, supper club events and other fun things. On my latest visit I ordered the Betta Muffaletta ($18) to go. While I waited, I browsed the wines on the shelves and then found a seat by the window. The team there was friendly and had my order out quickly. The sandwich was delicious and the combination of meats and cheese with the olive tapenade were fresh and super flavorful. I'm excited for more visits soon read more

We came here after work and it's so relaxing. Whether you want to relax with a cup of great coffee or unwind with a cold glass of wine. We had both coffee and wine and brought our fur baby. We sat in their patio area where you'll find a cozy couch or benches with a zen vibe garden. This place is great to have a small group get together or a casual date. They serve great selection of great food to share with friends and wine list. A must check out place and I guarantee that you'll have a great experience leaving this place. Nice friendly staff and service was fast. Will definitely come back to bring my friends and family here. read more
I liked Betty. I thought the service was good. My friend and I each got a Sauvignon Blanc. They tasted delicious! The prices seemed quite high. It's definitely more pricey than other wine bars I've been too. We did not try the food, so I would like to go back and try something. Overall, I had a good time here. My barber was raving about this Thai beef carpaccio. And then I tried it on a date this past weekend. She said she wasn't hungry and then the two of us devoured the flavor-rich, spice-forward dish. Of course unexpected of carpaccio. Do the pairings. The Rosé really was a perfect pair. I did likewise with the Bruleed Strawberry Shortcake and even though it reminded me of communion wine, it added a spice to the dish I'll look forward too with that hit of crunchy sweetness. The ladies working last Saturday night were so kind and enthusiastic about the menu. They helped me through the pairing experience and were genuinely kind and helpful. I remember this space being bigger and now it feels a touch cramped. No matter, the food, drink, and service are par excellence. The service was great, super kind and easy going. We had the shakshuka, which was really good. The focaccia paired well with it. We also got the Eggs and bacon which was also yummy but nothing crazy special. The last thing we tried was the latte which, was ok. The beans weren't anything special but again it was not bad. The ambiance carries for sure. The outdoor patio is incredibly beautiful and cozy while the inside is just as nice with a warm, jazz club feel. We had a nice experience read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Went on a quiet weekday morning and had the place mostly to myself. Enjoyed the panela latte and chorizo breakfast sandwich on a hot, freshly baked biscuit. Yum! read more
Been reflecting on 2025, and I came here for breakfast often. The eggs and bacon breakfast plate and candy g latte are my go to. The bacon is a nice thick cut and the eggs are perfectly poached with a side of greens and focaccia. I cannot ask for a more perfect breakfast for me. Candy G latte is housemade and it pairs well with the espresso here. This is the place I bring all my friends to impress them for quality breakfast and coffee/espresso drinks. I do want to warn you though, they don't have decaf and the cafe drinks are strong. Definitely for the coffee lovers and not the sweet tooth that expects a dessert type of coffee. Counter service is quick and they will bring out the food and drinks when they are ready. There is also a wonderful shaded patio in the back as well that is dog friendly. read more
This was my first time back at Betty's since their reopening, and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint. I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the chorizo sando along with a latte. The latte was just okay, but the sandwich? Absolutely amazing--easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in Sacramento. Flavorful, satisfying, and worth coming back for. The interior has changed a bit since the reopening. There's more seating now, which I definitely appreciate. That said, I do miss the small items they used to have for sale; it added a bit of charm to the space. Still, the updates feel fresh and welcoming. The staff was also welcoming. I'm looking forward to coming back to try their wine selection and explore more of the new menu. Betty's is definitely back on my regular rotation. Miracles do happen, and Betty Wine Bar & Bottle Shop is the miracle that the Sacramento food scene needs! The exterior is unassuming, and has that big food scene feel thats found in cool placed like the Bay Area, LA, and San Diego. The interior has the same feel. It's minimalistic in a good way. Service is spot on, and it's seamless. Betty's has been on my must try list since they opened, and I was excited when a friend had it on her list as well, and just like that, we had lunch plans. The menu offers a selection of items that make lunch enjoyable. Menu items are offered with wine suggested selections. I call it perfect pairings. My friend ordered the deviled eggs and oysters on the half shell. She inhaled the eggs exclaiming how delicious they were. They did look spectacular. Her oysters were fresh baby size, and the presentation was exactly what I would expect from this upscale eatery. I ordered the Betta Muffaletta. The focaccia is light, crispy, buttery, and I could enjoy this just on its own. My sandwich was layered with olive tapenade, a trio of meats, and a light cheddar. Each bite is pure bliss. It's a wonderful taste of NOLA, but on a grander scale. It's a perfect blend of flavors. The drinks ( sodas) are made in house, and this is genius ! It was my moral imperative to order the orange vanilla cream Italian soda. You want this! You need this! This is by every account a spectacular drink. The cream on top will leave the fun cream mustache on your upper lip, and you will just want to dive into the glass, trying to get every last taste. The orange and the cream are what dreams are made of. I'm so excited about being able to go back and try their brunch and dinner menu! This is a place where you go to dine and enjoy the moments. This is also the place that you want to go and enjoy a lovely glass of wine or two, and have some light bites to go along with it. Betty's has a large selection of some amazing wines, and they are available to purchase by the bottle, and by the glass. This is bougie at its finest, so y'all know it's my vibe. What a cute and quaint little place! The back patio was adorable and had such a homey feel to it. Some friends and I sat outside yesterday and had breakfast, coffee, and tea. I ordered their Oolong Light tea. Very nice presentation! I throughly enjoyed the experience! You have to get their homemade biscuits! It was fresh, toasty, buttery, and soft! I came across this incredibly cute and cozy, semi fancy wine, and and coffee spot in the on T St. that I love so much. It was a part of the Weekday, social clubs, coffee walking tour. The coffee was flavorful and I wish I had time to try the wine lol the cookie in the picture was amazing! I came here with a friend for lunch and it was a wonderful experience! It was a lovely day and we managed to get a spot outside in the front so we could watch the world go by. My friend and I both got the Betty Salad and we shared two other small bites - the lamb meatballs and the deviled eggs. Everything was delish - especially the salad! It had a light dressing and had both sesame seeds and sunflower seeds, and the "living lettuce" was probably the best lettuce I've ever had. I ate every bit of mine. They have a great wine list too and the servers were all friendly and attentive. Even though we were outside (and there for a while!) they kept checking on us. Wish I was closer so I could have that salad more often! Would definitely come back. read more

Betty definitely has that small neighborhood restaurant vibe that just happens to specialize in wine - by the glass as well as bottle sales. With its brick interior and high ceilings, the rustic interior tends to get very loud. At one point, I couldn't hear my friend across from me. You order at the counter and then take a seat. The menu has food on the left, wine on the right and then suggestions to pair one with the other at a reduced price. Very clever idea! I ended up getting the green curry ceviche ($15) with tender fish, hint of citrus and creamy coconut sauce. I paired it with a light Sonoma red blend ($15) even though the off-dry Riesling came recommended. I like to be a rebel. My friend got the beet salad ($15) - beautiful presentation but she was hoping there would be a few more beets. Don't get me wrong, I will return. That maitake mushroom casarecce ($23) is calling my name. Maybe coming earlier or wearing concert earplugs (ha ha) will help with the noise level. On the other hand, maybe I'm just too old. read more
Have loved both of my experiences at Betty and look forward to going back! I've gone for the breakfast twice now and have tried the shakshuka, the chorizo breakfast sandwich, and the eggs/bacon plate. Everything was delicious, high quality, and not too heavy tasting. The breakfast sandwich in particular blew me away (the homemade biscuit is incredible). I must also say that the coffee is remarkable. I've had the cappuccino and the espresso tonic. Go! read more

The green curry ceviche is a MUST! It was so fresh & creamy, completely different from your typical ceviche dish but in the best way. It paired so well with the wine from the perfect pairing. read more
