WHY WE WENT HERE: - girls' day; chill with wine THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on K St (parking at Kayak Alley in between 7th St and 8th St, unless you manage street parking) - outdoor seating available THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - intimate vibes; darker lighting, brick walls - loved the look and feel of the chairs at the bar THE MENU: - wine - bites - coffee & tea WHAT WE ORDERED: - standard flight - blanc flight - cheese board THE TASTE: - we enjoyed everything we ordered, just bummed that the wines for each flight were poured individually until we were given the next wine vs. served altogether at once CUSTOMER SERVICE: - warm and welcoming - good explanations of the wines we were drinking

Let me break down the entire afternoon! We came four deep for a wine tasting just trying to get out as mothers with small children under three. Looking for a good time and feel like we are being taken care of . And honey thats what they did. They took care of us . The timing was perfect between each drink. Im not big on drinking so the pace was excellent for me. The cheese board was pretty good. Im not big on trying new things. But I tried mostly everything on there and it was good. But to be honest the best part for me was the expresso bar! Yes you heard right! The expresso bar ! This man made me a mocha coffee I will never forget ! It was great! I enjoyed it ! I loved it ! The area was nice . The inside was beautiful! And the people were great host! I will be back! Thank you guys for taking care of the moms !

Super cute little wine tasting room on K street across the street from DOCO. The wine is from Sonoma county, they have different area where they grow their grapes and the staff is so informative about them! The wine flights for 5 different wines is $20/person. Your group does not all need to get flights, some can opt to just get a glass instead! If you pre pay for your testing with an online reservation, you get to use that credit toward whatever you ended up getting. I had put $100 down in the reservation and received about $15 back since we ended up with one less person that I had pre paid for. My friends and I had a great tasting!! Would recommend for those new to wine tasting.

All frequent Yelper know to check in first. 50% off your flight. Score! Sonoma Valley Vineyard. The Chardonnay is the BEST. Crisp, refreshing, and fruity flavored. Not the typical buttery type and no bitter finish. Their flagship Pinot Noir is nothing to scoff at. Very easy finish. Not dry. And doesn't finish too quickly. Membership is twice a year. April and October. There are 4 levels to choose from. $25 flat rate for shipping and handling. Have all 12 bottles sent at once, is my suggestion. And, if you are a fan of Love and Basketball, the TV show, you'll see the final episode was shot here. They even offer a military discount!! Support those that support the troop

Celebrated my son's 60th birthday at Bailerin Cellars Tasting Room on a recent Sunday afternoon with 35 family members, and we had such a great party thanks to Rachel and her staff. The wine choices were enjoyed by everyone, and the charcuterie boards and popcorn were delicious. I liked the Bailerin sparkling rose so much that we bought a case to enjoy during the holidays. Their tasting room was perfect for our casual gathering. Loved the brick walls and the outdoor patio. Pricing was quite reasonable.

I used to come here to study all the time! Great ambiance outside-- nice for small gatherings with friends who like adult lunchables (charcuterie board) and grape juice. :)

I can not rave enough our experience here and the service we received. After to moving to FL a few years ago, we welcomed our sweet baby boy this summer. Ofcourse we hosted a Sip'n'See to have our family and friends meet our little guy. The service was beyond 5 stars. The small bites were all delicious from the cheeses, to the popcorn. The wine was delicious and the kids loved the hot chocolate. We had such and amazing time in such a beautiful place. Huge thank you to the staff and owner for helping make our little reunion so special.

Bailarin Cellars Wine bar was a lovely time and balanced portion of delicious wines and bites. Ambiance was perfect for our girls date. We will be back!

It still says "Wine & Coffee" outside, so that can be a bit confusing, but cute place that's been open for less than a year! You can get a flight of wines or a tasty coffee. I got a honey cinnamon latte. It was different, strong favors, similar to a chai but lacking some of its spices. I'd come back to get that chai next time; my friend really liked his. There are bar tables and cozy couches. Good place to chat, have a date, or lounge with friends on a lazy Sunday. Definitely a fan of this place and will be back!

If you enjoy delicious Pinot Noir options and tasty charcuterie boards , this place is a new winery: tasting room in downtown Sacramento! The staff was super nice and the wine flights were a fun way to experience their wines!

Cozy chairs. Bold wines. Enticing cheese boards. Welcoming space. Bailarín is everything I want when I need to unwind after a long day at the office. The warm, incandescent setting is perfect for a chilly evening, too. It's springtime now, but when I first happened upon this relatively new wine bar on The Kay, the last dregs of winter were still in effect. It's not easy to forget a place that has just what you needed at the time. Try the Love Zinfandel and allll the Pinots! :-) Bonus: They also have coffee, tea, and kombucha!

YES, they have wine , but Sarah has been selling me the perfect after-gym treat: homemade vegan power bar, only $3.54.

I'd Go Indie-Vegan Any Day Over Commercial Sawdust SITREP I appreciate the benefits I derive by working out at 24 HR Fitness, but I do not subscribe to their commercial power/food offerings, least of all their power bars. However, Bailarin Cellars ("Bailarin") has just opened up! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bailar%C3%ADn-cellars-sacramento-2?select=ml8Riv_pR1NFDevEElrkTQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w BAILARIN'S DELICIOUS VEGAN POWER BARS My immediate needs are met by Bailarin with their delicious bites, and more specifically their Vegan Power Bar. This is SUCH a more immediately satisfying and rewarding post gym treat than the synthetic mass-produced garbage that 24 HR sells in their gym store. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bailar%C3%ADn-cellars-sacramento-2?select=18efd0L8v4nBZ-tjguqhow&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w The Docent-Baristas or should I say "Daristas"? -- (I like darista if only from the standpoint that it reminds me of the old MTV animated series "Daria" *hearts*) -- are friendly and wise souls. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bailar%C3%ADn-cellars-sacramento-2?select=18efd0L8v4nBZ-tjguqhow&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w Darista SARAH originally turned me onto the vegan power bar with all of it's yummy, healthy ingredients (were those dates or plums I detected on my palate?), and OF COURSE I've since subscribed to it because of it's yummy taste! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bailar%C3%ADn-cellars-sacramento-2?select=8nNjL_mLzLYGlTm8fckICA&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w THE SETUP For months I had been walking by this block-section, excited to see what would eventually pop up. [You learn that when you hear whispers over a year or two, it doesn't always mean that what's whispered will in fact come to fruition a year or two later.] In the interim, though, I was very happy to see our stalwart local brewery outlet for Ruhstaller Beer show up next door (to where Bailarin has since opened). This is going to be a dynamic chill spot for my after work happy hours with friends & colleagues (or pre-gaming Kings match-ups at Golden 1 Arena). Bailarin is a mere half block down on "The Kay" from the DOCO Entrance @ 7th & K Streets where my 24 HR Fitness - and the Starbucks Reserve Bar, for that matter - are both located (along with Sauced). Bailarin is in partnership with those fabulous owners and baristas that brought we Sacramentans INSIGHT COFFEE! And so this spot is selling coffee, tea AND wine, just take a look: - Coffee & Tea https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bailar%C3%ADn-cellars-sacramento-2?select=gbbzL3frTp7Rhu5j3pQsZw&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w - Wine https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bailar%C3%ADn-cellars-sacramento-2?select=yap3cmfAUTauvx2AbjcqUg&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w ..which means that this locale - when you include Rufstaller in the ambit - will be selling Coffee, Tea, Wine and Beer! (Capturing MOST of the beverage options - if not all - in the world). Looking for a location to have a casual large group meet-up that most people will be able to mingle into a door or two and find what they want to drink? "The Kay" between 7th & 8th Streets is your "sweet spot"! A BIT O' HISTORY This has always been a to-go area for me, back around 10-15 years ago when they had the Thursday Night Markets, but then shut that down because of gang-activity (back in a day when "we could not have nice things"). Before that about 20-25 years ago, this was a favorite loitering area for me, a young state worker on his lunch breaks because of perusing the racks at the Men's Warehouse, and for the "VIDEO STORE" (so aptly named for a video store) whose old space is what Bailarin now takes up in part. This was such a great store, finding VHS movie tapes and vinyl records at such price-steals, sometimes only a BUCK! And elderly gent who owned/managed the place, had the most adorable "Garfield"-tabby who *owned* all the record and racks and VHS stacks by napping on them. #Memories.] I really wish Bailarin MUCH success in this sentimental location for me and I hope they are open there, like, FOREVER. THE LOWDOWN A new business star bringing it's awesomeness to the constellation of businesses on "The Kay" - check it out!

This is such a cute place! The details and logo design are amazing! The ambience is so cute for either their wine tasting or a cup of coffee. We had their member tasting (highly recommended the Zinfandel) and their charcuterie board which featured a really nice selection of cheeses. Bottles are definitely on the higher end but you can join their membership for a discount.

The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg is a historic beet sugar refinery from 1934-1993 that has wine shops and tasting rooms for local wineries. They have over a dozen wineries. Wine tastings average $15 and most wineries waive the fee if you buy a bottle. They have wine shops in the main building and in the other building. Don't forget to walk back and to the right to the shops in the separate back building, there is 3-4 more wineries. Each winery are literal walled shops with their own seating areas. Temperature controlled which is nice on hot summer days. Each have their own wine tasting, food offerings, and special events. Old Sugar Mill is less than 15 minute drive from downtown Sacramento. The buildings are beautiful. They kept the historic brick walls and exterior. It has a modern shabby chic look. Three different brands owned the refinery. It all began in 1934 with Amalgamated, American Crystal Sugar Factory (1936-1982), and Delta Sugar (1983-1993). The sugar was refined by local Northern Californian grown beets. The buildings was renovated in 2000 for its current use. Awesome concept and beautiful architecture design. They also host weddings and events. They have a banquet room with slideshow equipment. There is also an outdoor lawn and adjoining paved patio area that is shaded in the afternoon by the buildings that would make for a gorgeous wedding venue. On hot summer days, the Delta breeze kicks in for instant cool down. No outside food are picnics are allowed. On the weekends, they have food trucks. Plus the majority of the wineries sell food (appetizers) as well. Also no pets are allowed (excluding service animals). The restrooms are located right by the front entrance.

Such a beautiful venue for weddings. This review is based on being an invited guest to a wedding…read morethat took place here, April 25th. The grounds are just sooo beautiful especially when their roses are in bloom. The ceremony area has two areas. One area faces the water and the other is more of a greenery view which both are just wonderful, you don't have to worry about the sun being in your eyes. The bar and buffet were placed right outside the reception area which was kinda nice so the long lines doesn't get in the way of the tables and dance floor. Loved the large glass chandeliers and draped curtain/tent vibes. Food was sooo good. I heard they made their food at the location so it nice and fresh. Tri tip, salmon mash potatoes and gravy with green beans, feta apple spinach salad and bread with butter was the menu. Drinks were white and red wine, beer and cocktail of choice was a berry sangria which was my favorite.

A Dream Venue for Vendors and Guests!…read more I had the pleasure of being a dessert vendor for a weekend wedding at Lakeview Estates & Winery and I also attended the event as a guest. From both perspectives, I can honestly say this venue is exceptional. As a vendor, I felt incredibly supported. The staff was kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating - offering clear direction, checking in throughout the day, and making sure I had everything I needed to set up and serve with ease. It's rare to work with a venue that treats vendors like valued collaborators, but Lakeview truly did. As a guest, I got to see another level of excellence. The entire event ran seamlessly. Last-minute changes (like additions to bar and food service) were handled quickly and without a hitch. The staff was attentive, well-coordinated, and clearly experienced at handling all the behind-the-scenes details that make a celebration flow beautifully. Special shout-out to Melanie, who was nothing short of phenomenal. Her coordination of extra services and flexibility made the whole day feel effortless for everyone involved. The venue itself is stunning, but it's the people who make it unforgettable. I would absolutely recommend Lakeview Estates & Winery to anyone planning an event - whether you're booking, attending, or working it!
