All wines are $7 by the glass on Mondays. $10-$12 is the regular cost per glass. Wine tasting kits? They have that. Charcuterie box? Yes, $15. Delivery? Yes. Wine Club? They've got that too. 2 bottles per month for $40, and 4 bottles for $70 plus perks. Noice. Don't skip the Moped blend. What grapes are used in the blend changes every couple months I'm told. I loooove this place! I have been here a couple of Saturdays now and I can fully say I love coming here after taking my doggie to the nearby dog park. He can run around and have some fun and then mommy can get her favorite glass of Alberino with a girlfriend. They do a wine tasting for $15 I believe, if you haven't had the chance to try their wines, it is a must do. They keep all of their wines on tap here and do bottle re-fills, they are a eco-friendly winery. They have wine club options and can deliver within a certain area. They have a small patio outside so you can sit in the fresh air and sit with your doggie. They also sell charcuterie boxes for $15 which has two types of cheese, dried apricots, almonds, crackers, jam, and salami. I love the idea of sustainable wine, and have never been disappointed with any of the wines I've picked up- the Chardonnay is my favorite! The owner is super sweet and so are the staff. I must say...for a small wine business, it was a good one. Let's be clear they don't necessarily serve "food" but they do partner with someone at the Farmers Market who put together an amazing small charcuterie box...yummmm!! Attended the Yelp event for the Wednesday Wine testing event, So I decided to pick up one of the home tasting kits the have available. We had a chance to participate in a zoom class at this virtual event and it quite fun! Steve Burch hosted the call and he did an excellent job talking about the wines and the mission statement that Acheson is trying to achieve with locally sourced and environmentally friendly wines. Let me say, it was nice to see the level of candor that Steve had with the wine tasting group and there wasn't a dull moment during the session. He talked very openly and honestly and it was nice to have a conversation with a winemaker that felt personal even thought it was on zoom with quite a few other people I did not know. I was also able to to talk to Jared when I picked up my wine and he was also extremely knowledge. He refered go himself as a introductory sommelier and he really does know his stuff and provided quite a bit of information as Steve lead the session. As for the wines, I am a hardcore novice at tasting (drinking is another matter) but it was nice to try a local midtown establishment and I enjoyed the the whites and the single red we decided to go for. My wine choices are like my temperament which ping pongs from one end to the other but I loved the three seasons rose and the Solon Blanc. I would definitely recommend those for those something that is a bit lighter and fruity. Whatever your tastes they have a nice variety in their wine tasting kits that allow you to try 4 wines at 40 dollars. I was first introduced to Acheson Wine Company via a Yelp Elite event. My husband and I have since been back and really enjoy their wine and hospitality. The staff is always extremely pleasant, and I like their wine. Prior to the most recent stay-at-home order, Acheson sold wine floats one weekend. Of course I had to try it, and it was delicious! Today could be described in one word, awkward. Saturday 4/2 at 12:45 the winetender working the front needs some basic training. My wife and I stopped in to use our gift card from a Leash and Collar prize bag. I could rant about a bunch of issues during this experience but the real takeaway is your attitude/facial expressions and conversation awareness will either make a good yelp or bad one. When walking back home with my wife, what struck us the most odd was she never once offered a taste of wine....
