This place is awesome. I got to order off of their food truck prior to entering the 49ers vs Browns game this past Sunday. It's an amazing option to eat just mere feet before the stadiums entrance. Fair warning, they don't have beer as they're not permitted to sell it there. To be honest, I need to give the Browns credit for allowing these food trucks to feed people that close to the stadium. I went ahead and ordered the polish girl. That's a tasty polish topped with pulled pork, sauce, fries, & coleslaw. The coleslaw was super sweet, which is how I like it. We ordered catering with the two protein option. We got the pulled pork and ribs for the protein's and both were excellent. We got the baked beans and mac & cheese for the sides, which were good, but everyone's favorite was the cornbread! They supply plenty of food per person ordered and supply all the catering supplies. Was nearby for local paintball. Apparently my son had been here the week prior and I let him and his friends decide. They chose this place. I'm not going to pretend I know bbq. But this place had pictures and history all over the wall. They have a bbq truck outside. The kids all opted for chicken strips, wings, fries, burgers. Which they all seemed satisfied with. Because how do you mess that up? While I opted for the special which was a chopped brisket sandwich. First off the bun was cold, which could've been heated up? And the bbq sauce that was used was cold which made the meat cold. I ended up eating half and taking other half home. Reheated in my air fryer it tasted better the next day. Could I have spoken up and complained? Probably. But not with kids there. The interior was interesting little pigs of all sorts. A couple of booths. One large one small to sit at. And canned soda and beverages to pick from. Others came and went as we sat and ate and apparently there is some history. The kids liked it. So I'll likely be returning and will have to try something else and perhaps update my review and pics. read more

I'm sure the food is fantastic, but when I have to wake up early in the morning to drive to work just to get tailgated by a 2022-2023 Chevy silverado branded top to bottom in jones bones bbq. Just some old man who was so close behind me I couldn't see his license plate then spent over a minute in the opposite lane screaming at my car. Mind you I was going 60 in a 50. Wow! I made a 5 minute detour off the turnpike and had some of the best BBQ that I've had in a long time. Looking over the menu, when I noticed the Fatboy Sampler I knew what I had to order. It's a combo of ribs and pulled pork, with slaw and a side. 1. The ribs were fire! Just the right bite-through tenderness, with a nice tangy sauce. B. The pulled pork was hitting on all cylinders! Nicely smoked, moist and tender, with just a little sauce in top. 3. The Cole Slaw is nice and creamy and exactly the right compliment to the tangy BBQ sauce. It was Taco Tuesday, so I tried the Brisket Taco, and it too did NOT disappoint. The pickled onions set it off just right. So the question fit great bbq continues. Pros: it is small and cozy and quiant and I dont think the health department knows about this place. All great news as the food seems authentic. She had the mac n q bbq bowl (mac and cheese topped with pulled pork. I had the brisket sammich with fries. The mac n q bowl was very good. The brisket sammich was good. The chopped meat was tender and topped with sauce. The bun itself was one of the blandest pieces of bread I have ever tried. All in not bad tho. The big disappointment was the French fries. I didn't come here for fries tho. The staff was very polite and engaging. The facility is dated but functional, just what I expect fir a bbq joint. I am sure we will be back but only if we are already in the area. I wouldn't call this a destination but definitely not bad if your nearby. read more

Was headed to Columbia station and stopped here for a quick bite. Man was i surprised!! The place is super cute and clean!! A little outdated but decor was absolutely adorable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owners came out to talk to us and they were awesome. Telling us how they started with a food truck and ended up here. They're opening a second location in Elyria in June! I had the porkster and fresh cut fries with malt vinegar ,,like the fair! And hubby had the rib and pork platter. Very friendly staff and good sauce. I like to frequent small businesses and Ill give this one another chance at some point. However, the ribs were incredibly tough and I had to use a real knife to (kinda) get any meat off the bone. Granted it was midday and it might have been before all the fresh stuff gets moving but honestly getting at the meat was just too much work to enjoy. Flavor was ok, sauce was pretty good but couldve been warmer. Ill chalk it up to a bad day and try another item if Im over that way again. read more
