Second time ordering from and it keeps getting better. We ordered online and was going to be ready in 20 minutes on a Friday night. I got the carne asada plate this time and while simple and classic, they did it great. The rice and beans can give away whether a restaurant is authentic in my opinion. Came here for the first time looking for authentic Mexican food. This is probably the best I'll find out here! I ordered the enchiladas to start off with a safe option (although some restaurants use nasty cheese for enchiladas) this place had it right. Their rice and beans were also good. Next up will be their tamales, burritos and birria tacos. I kept hearing how good this place was but I was skeptical. I'm glad I tried it and can't wait to keep coming back. I had the lunch chimichanga, which was fabulous. My sister had the taco salad which she said was totally delicious and very huge. The service was fast. The restaurant is very nice inside a lot more room than it looks like it should have plus they have the back patio. Great job we will definitely be back. read more

We picked up food at this newly opened restaurant. The service was nice. It was clean and the space fit more tables than I expected. We purchased a few different things to really try the food. We bought a burrito, a chimichanga, and fajitas. Everything tasted great. The chicken and also ground beef was flavorful. The prices were a dollar or two per item higher than I expected, but that's ok, I'll be back again. So, on a whim, my girlfriend talked me into trying this place. First off, the food was fresh, and perfect temperature when it made it to the table. The service was excellent!! The waiter was very attentive and was point on when taking the order. The ambiance was fine, quiet, and I was able to carrying on a conversation without being overwhelmed by the music. Finally, I had a very bad experience with flan, but after trying it here, I have a renewed love of the dessert.i would surely return. read more

Went here on a Saturday night - super pleased! Indoor seating was a little small but they had a big patio in the back too. Chips were made on site, salsa was fresh. They have a house made habanero sauce that is AWESOME! A little in the salsa took it to the next level. Got the cheese dip and it was perfect (not like some places where it's too thick). I got the Chile rellenos which was really great. Friend got the burrito gigante - it was ENORMOUS and he liked it. Everything was flavorful, nothing bland. Service was also great. Very attentive. The food was good. The tacos were some of the best that I have tried while traveling. I had stopped at a Mexican restaurant in Lancaster and was disappointed. The tacos here were very flavorful. I got one of each, and they tasted excellent. My only complaint is the Horchata drink. They make it with water instead of milk. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have any complaints, except the special margarita written on the board was for lunch but they had a different margarita special for dinner. I tried it and it wasn't too sweet like post places. In fact, it was very good- and strong! The salsa wasn't bland and the fajita wasn't greasy like most other Mexican restaurants. My spouse and I saw an ad for Mi Rancho on an El Rodeo site ... knew the location, so we just tried it out this afternoon at lunchtime. This part of the building was an old bar, and I was glad to know it had opened up as a Mexican restaurant. The inside is small ... the whole staff was super friendly, and our waiter was especially nice. We ordered the lunch fajita and the lunch carnitas... plus a small cheese dip. Both meals were plentiful and delicious. This is one of the best carnitas dishes I've had...the pork was super tender and addictively tasty. Oh and we had dessert ... the cheesecakey one that I can't pronounce (it starts with an X). OMG yummy. It is a great find ... small and unassuming place that is huge on taste. Went around 5 and the restaurant was fairly empty, we got seated and served a very good salsa and chips. It didn't have much decorations but i suppose they may add some later on. I ordered a burritos deluxe (in the image) it came out fairly quick and was really good, the serving size was on the larger end but that was fine with me. Our 12 yr old grandson picked this fairly new, close by Mexican restaurant to try. It wasn't busy on an early Wednesday evening. We had the burrito deluxe, chicken fajitas, and pollo rancheros. We all thought our dinners were very good. Although we didn't try one, there was a very nice selection of specialty margaritas; maybe next time. Service was very attentive and friendly. I deducted one star only because while the restaurant is new and clean, the decor is very sparse and not really warm and welcoming. We will return for the good food, though. read more
