    Maple creemee
    Domonique G.

I found Woodstock Scoops on TikTok while developing my itinerary for my Vermont visit. My friend and I sampled the maple creemee. I had to get a full scoop! It was very yummy! And although it is cold outside, this treat was still refreshing.

I LOVED the maple vanilla twist soft creamie with maple crisps sprinkled on top. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The milk is sourced from local Vermont dairy farms and tastes super fresh. I would highly recommend this place if you're visiting Woodstock. The service was super quick as well

Vermont's peak foliage means crowds everywhere, especially Woodstock. On a hot day, expect long ice cream lines out the door. Must-try: maple creemee soft serve--creamy and delicious, though wish for fuller cups. Sprinkles extra, but go for the full experience. Line moved fast; ice cream great. On warm days, eat quickly--it melts fast!

My family and I were in Vermont to help my youngest brother move in for his second year of college, and we came to Woodstock for an afternoon and I got to try my first creemee! I had a cone with maple and chocolate creemee ice cream, and it was awesome! The shop seemed understaffed for weekend and only had one worker getting everyone's orders (she was very friendly, but seemed overwhelmed!). The ambiance is very cute and classic. There's not much space to sit and eat so you'll have a nice time walking around and window shopping whilst eating your creemee!

Sweet creamy ice cream. We tried the vanilla soft serve and the black cherry soft serve. Both delicious. There was a line but it moved quickly. Cute little parlor right on Main Street. We took our ice cream to go and walked across the bridge on elm that crosses the river. Beautiful little walk in a super quaint town.

A nice pitstop for ice cream on a hot day. I had a small maple creeme because when in Vermont, you have to try all the maple things! After seeing the picture online, it was disappointing that mine came as a blob and not a nice swirl, and barely filled the cup. It was just a few bites and beware because it melts quickly. However it did hit the spot. Not too sweet with a light maple taste.

Delicious!! I tried multiple maple creemees in Vermont and Woodstock Scoops is the best! I love that their creemee has a rich, milky taste that's not as noticeable in other creemees I've tried. If you're in Vermont and want to try a maple creemee, get it from here!

TLDR: if you haven't had this before you're missing out! Visited a friend from the area and I was told to make maple creamies a priority. I didn't understand until I tasted it. Definitely one of the best ice creams I have had! It's creamy, buttery, and has strong maple flavor. Love it. Overall: I'd eat this in the winter

The consistency of the creemee was silky smooth. It was not too thick and didn't melt fast. This ice cream shop has cute merch inside where you can browse while you wait for your order. You can't go wrong ordering maple creemees and the holiday sprinkles were a fun topping for the cold weather.

If you've never had a maple cremee, please go out of your way and try one ASAP. One of the best soft serves I've had. I've had a few maple creamers before but this one was over the top! Cute little shop right in the heart of downtown. It felt like Vermont in an ice cream cone.

I ordered the caramel ice cream for an after-dinner trip in downtown Woodstock. The caramel ice cream flavor was good. My friend tried the maple vanilla. I especially like that this place had other sweets like moon pies and banana bread. The staff was very nice and helped me choose a flavor and toppings. The service was quick, and they had plenty of seating.

I had to try this. Maple is not my favorite flavor but I was in Woodstock, VT and it was hot out. The place is right on the main drag. It's sunny and bright and very clean. Staff was friendly and eager to help. While I stuck to a small swirl, my husband went over the top for the everything maple. It was enormous, full of maple ice cream, and maple syrup and maple sprinkles on a maple waffle. Admittedly, I didn't try that. I find the maple flavor quite sweet as it is. Okay, I've done it. I'm glad I did and you should too if you are in the area!

The Vermont Maple Cremee is a little soft serve treat you can find in a lot of places, but this was the only place I found a maple + pumpkin spice swirl!! It was everything i imagined. They also added maple sprinkles!!! Gaaahhhh. I was in Heaven. Of the many cremees I had while in VT, this was one of the best and certainly one of the most unique. Spoke w the owner for a bit, and he was working hard cleaning up the space. Kind gentleman and friendly staff.

Yummy soft serve maple flavored ice cream in a fresh cone. Friendly service. Pricey, but worth it. Main Street location.

The lot was small but many people were coming in and out so we didn't have to wait long to get a parking spot or outdoor seating. There are two shops: the deli and market with different vibes and items inside. The market is a quick shop with some snacks, drinks, coffee, and knickknacks. The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Pass on the general tso(?) and the potstickers in my opinion unless you're really craving it. The desserts looked amazing and would definitely get one next time

We were able to get a spot in front with no issue, but I imagine that this was because it was a week day. We chose the Mac and cheese and the maple pulled pork. Both were worth the hype in my opinion. The mac and cheese was super creamy and paired well with the tender pulled pork. The baked goods were nothing to write home about. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.

The burger was made to order, and when asked how I would like it cooked, when I answered "medium", she wanted more information "medium rare or medium well"...I responded with "exactly medium". The fact that a food truck was asking for refined temperature selection was surprising, but also made me optimistic that this burger would be good. They asked how I would like it dressed, mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle were the choices, lettuce, onion and tomatoes were the vegetable options, and the cheese options were cheddar, Swiss, American and blue. I went with cheddar, mayo, ketchup and lettuce and tomato. It was one of the best burgers and fries I've had in a very long time. Cooked perfectly medium, dressed exactly as ordered, and the fries were very hot and very fresh. The coke was very cold. Another great thing is that there are picnic tables with umbrellas at the town green so we ate outside at one of the picnic tables. A perfect lunch.
