My hot water tank wasn't working and I was really hoping it was just that the pilot light was out. Justin was able to light the pilot right away and stayed around for a bit to make sure it stayed lit. I was so grateful that I didn't have to add the expense of a new hot water tank to the very expensive clean up after the flooded basement.

Al (Alfred) and his team from Frank's were assigned to the job. Al came out to look at what needed to be done; the estimate also included a tub replacement ( I purchased the tub & had it delivered for installation). He also met with the construction contractor (walls had been removed) to discuss what needed to be done from his end. I received the estimate the next day - scope of work was very thorough, detailed & complete. So much so I was able to use it as a punch list for the plumbing work. When time came for plumbing work, Al & his team arrived on time, were completely focused on getting the pipe work updated & completed; tub installation completed on the 2nd visit. On the final visit, faucet installed in the new sink, all plumbing work was inspected by Al & ready for Township Plumbing Inspector. This was not an easy plumbing job by any means. Al & his team from Frank's did an exceptional job - all work was organized, performed professionally, work areas were all cleaned after jobs were completed. Final inspection done by Plumbing Inspector passed with flying colors. Pricing for the job was reasonable, given the amount of work that had to be done. They dug from back downspot to street, laid new piping, added stone by street and backfilled the dirt. Excellent. The cement side was a different issue. I dealt with Ed R. The cement work is subed. When the crew came to dig up the sidewalk I saw on ring camera that they did not remove one of the contracted pads (they were supposed to do 4 pads but only did 3). I contacted Ed R. while they were still at my house. Later that day the three pads were cemented in. That part of sidewalk was well done (even if not all pads were done). A month later a new crew came to dig up the fourth pad, they did mine and the neighbors. Horrible job. They stomped all over my new grass, The new pad near my other ones was too high so they leveled it down the last three inches but you can notice that it's not level, the pads by the grass are sloped down (maybe they didn't pour enough cement), not very smooth surface, and when they cleaned up they did it by my decorative curb (leaving stains on it). Communicaton with Ed R. was lacking.

Edit: To respond to the reply from the business owner (because I'm will come with receipts), we called because it was 52 degrees and dropping in our house where we have animals. The furnace was running but not working. The guy came and told us to take up the carpet the seller placed over a vent that was causing our furnace to overheat and it started heating up immediately. And as for the state of our house, we did have numerous piles of boxes as we had just moved in a few days previous. Insinuating we're messy or something was extremely unprofessional and rude. Also I attached a picture of the time he offered us that was 4-6pm, he makes it sound like they came out at 8pm to fix it. I already messaged him privately telling him if he had come to me and told me he thought three stars was more fair I would have changed it but after that response he earned a one star. Edit 2: I did want to point out one last thing, even if we hadn't just moved in and we were just box hoarders or something it's a really awful mindset to have that we don't deserve y'all to come out and fix our heating when it's close to or in the negatives outside. The most frustrating part has been the lack of communication. Promised timelines have repeatedly come and gone, and my attempts to obtain status updates have largely been ignored or brushed aside. At this point, I am genuinely concerned that the restoration portion of the project is being abandoned. I understand that scheduling delays can happen, but customers deserve honest communication and follow-through. He even took the initiative to clean an unrelated really gross surface clog I had been meaning to tackle on my own out. The bad: I called the company twice to confirm my appointment time as it involved shutting off water to multiple dwellings. Despite this they sent the plumber out more than an hour early to the job site with no warning phone call and I had to have him sit in the truck and wait. I had just woken up and could not turn off water to the other households ahead of the notice that had been given. Charge on the first job was within the realm of reason. Charge for the second bathroom repair though was extremely excessive given that it turned out to be minor and only took him less than 10 minutes and what seemed to be a few dollars of materials to fix. Verdict: If I have an emergency repair or need work on a night/weekend I may use them again. However if the work is minor or planned I would shop around and find a handyman who is more flexible with pricing.

The other things is he as told me about somethings and said I could do the work, explained what needed to be done, and said I could save his labor fee . Do not often find a skilled plumber that will recommend not doing the job themselves.
