They kept my $200 deposit, after telling me the cello was in perfect condition when I returned it. I asked for that in writing and the employee said he couldn't do that, but that he'd vouch for us when the owner got there. Four hours later I got a text with the image of a small corner of a cello with a small wood chip saying it was damaged and they'd keep my deposit to repair it, all $200. No other explanation, no proof that it was my instrument, no reply to my text. Just "hey we are keeping your money." They were liars and thieves from the very beginning. I was told all the strings were brand new. One month in, a string breaks while my child is playing. I take it back and they say I have to pay more than $100 to fix it, reiterating they are all new strings and blaming my child for breaking it. A few weeks later, her private teacher is playing the cello and another string snaps. She tells me all the strings are old and worn. She repairs it herself because she too had a bad experience with them and refuses to send anyone there. She also said that replacing a string should be about $20, not more than $100. That is beyond the point since they rented us a cello with worn strings and should have replaced them no charge. A short time after that, her school teacher, the very person who recommended them, said they gave her a terrible bow, completely frayed. He told us to take it back and tell them that he said so, otherwise they'd blame it on my daughter and charge us for that, too. We did what he suggested and they did not charge us but replaced it with another terrible bow that also frayed. I will never set foot there again; I will also file a complaint with the BBB. If you want an ethical, professional company I strongly recommend you look elsewhere, but not these fraudsters in Miami.

But it wasn't what I thought based on the photos. It is a smaller guitar and doesn't feel right to me. So i inquired about a return and offered to pay a reasonable restocking fee and both directions shipping. NO DEAL. NO RETURNS, This is not indicated on the website. there is no policy regarding returns on the website. Every guitar dealer I have dealt with allows returns. GuitarFinds in CA gives 72 hours. Wildwood gives 48 hours. Carter vintage gives 48 hours. Driftwood gives 14 days. Even Miami Guitars - "Customers have 72 hours from receipt of an instrument to determine if it is right for them." Don't you think that a return is actually good business? So be careful. Bad policy. If I had seen "no returns" on their site, i would have hesitated buying it. This experience was bad, considering I bought one from them a few weeks ago and they made good money, and i have expressed how much I like the guitar. Now they say no deal. So... I might keep the damn thing. Taylor only mad 5 of then in 1995. Maybe it is a keeper.

And they honestly wanted to make sure that I knew help was at hand and they were there to answer questions or show me to anything I was looking for. Really impressive. Other than that I can testify that they have a variety of used instruments and a ton of vintage amps. They are a Music Man authorized dealer and can order for you though I saw only one new MM on hand. Which is pretty common... They have a big collection of classic vinyl records if that is your thing... So, I have not done business with them but will probably be dropping by in the future just to browse and see if they have "that one special thing I need" to fill in the collection :)

They have a variety of instruments set up including electric drums, and guitars that you can test out. They also offer lessons which you can sign up for which is really cool. I went to the repair section and the technician was awesome. He told what needed to get done. Basically we replaced the nut and needed to file it to level the new strings. Basically took 20 mins which I chilled at the acoustic guitar area where I was able to try out a variety amount of guitars. I ended up wanting a Martin guitar which I could be back to pickup. But the tech was so helpful and did a terrific job. I wish I remembered his name but I'll be back. Highly recommend this place and everything was organized and everyone is so helpful.
