Really good breakfast. Staff is super friendly. They have a great special on wings they are super tasty.

We drove 30 minutes to dine at Hunters Public House, but failed to make a reservation and they had a full house (boo). Off we went to Jonny Canucks since it was next door and the kids were starving and it was getting pretty late. I wish I looked at the menu beforehand because the adult meals were uninspiring if you have certain diet restrictions or trying to eat healthier. Not a whole lot for vegetarians unless you want some typical fried pub food/spinach dip. Typical Sysco chain pub food to be honest. The kids meal deal for 8.99 (drink, meal, dessert) drew a lot of families in that evening. That was good value. Service was friendly and to the point. I think our waiter was overworked and had too many tables to tend with. There was no check ins to make sure our food was good, but he did bring pop refills. No water refills and was forgetful at some of our requests. Again, I think the waiter had too much on his plate and was overworked. I do think this restaurant gets the pool over of clients trying to dine at Hunters Public House. We witnessed groups ahead of us trying to get seats at Hunters, who ended up over at Jonny Canucks. (Just an observation) Anyways on to the food. Hubby got the french onion soup, which I stole most of. It was the highlight of our meal. He also got chicken stir fry which he said he enjoyed. I got the cod fish tacos, which were small, uninspiring and something I could make at home. Kids got the pogo and chicken fingers which they enjoyed. Maybe a good place for cheap beers with friends to watch some sports? Other than that I cannot recommend to come here based on the food. read more

We can with a very large party and they handled it so well! Two servers for about 60 people but it was super quick and great service. They were constantly checking if we needed anything. The fried pickles were great! read more

Great service, short wait for food, and the food was delicious. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was great. I personally prefer smooth sauces myself. It's just a sensory thing for me. But the flavor was ALL there, and I was overall very pleased with my spaghetti. On top of that, the staff was SO nice and accommodating. Update: I was there for a friend's retirement party, and it was a big group. I want to give a shout out to our waitress for being such a trooper and keeping a smile on her face the whole time. read more

Atrocious staff service at Findlay Creek: "progressive," selfish and unprofessional female (and male, Phil) staff who have clocked off duty sit at the bar, next to customers who were peacefully watching the many large sports TV screens, loudly whining and moaning about Canadian rent and housing unaffordability, and indulging in partisan politics that support preferential discrimination for minority interest groups. When challenged they blame the customers! This bar has no character, and offers uncomfortable lighting and furnishing. It is more like a barn without any soul than a bar. Food is of very average quality, and higher in price than many/most local competitors. Avoid this venue, other local and far better venues exist. read more

Service was adequate, ordered the soup and sandwich, didn't know you could serve such a small amount of soup in a bowl and the sandwich was tiny. Sandwich was tasty but way too small for the money. The soup was bland and watery, Used to be Pub food was filling and plentiful. More soup in the bowl would have cost nothing and gone a long way to make a customer happy. My wife and I absolutely love this place! We live right across the street in the new development Cowan's Grove and this is our go-to for pub food. The best time is to go Monday and Wednesday's as they have 50% off all appetizers. Tuesday is 75c wings after 4pm. All the appetizers are very good relative to other pub food and the value is even better knowing you're paying half price. The wings are some of the best we've ever had! Add to that pints of $5 Pilsners and a couple could eat to their hearts delight for about $40, which is an incredible deal! The service is absolutely excellent, the staff are super friendly, and the place has an overall super chill vibe about it. Given pub-food everywhere is all virtually the same in terms of selection, it comes down to quality and price. I would say the quality of the food is at least on par with other sports bars, with some items being way better. Add to that the cheap price and, frankly, there is no point going anywhere else for decent pub-food. read more

This place basically serves you frozen grub. Like thanks for the delicious reheated oven chicken strips, coulda gone to freshco and gotten more for cheaper. The food sucks here. We went here for brunch after a morning gym session. It was great. The staff was friendly and the food tasted great and was plentiful for a decent price. We will definitely come back for brunch again. I've also been here for dinner and wings a few other times. What I love about this place is that they always have deals for everyday of the week. Every night after 9pm is 60c wings. You order them in batches for 5 and can change the sauce each time. AMAZING! We often think about coming out for a late night wing snack. read more

Had the messy mix for breakfast and it turned out to be surprisingly really good....(Who doesn't like bacon eggs and cheese). Service and food wait was really good. Only down fall is having only one person serving the entire place had us waiting a few minutes to be seated. read more

The tall blonde lady I wish I got her name. Absolutely rude, checked on our table once. Didn't clear our plates. Then she threw my receipt at me since I didnt tip based on the TRASH service. We been going to this local eatery since it opened in Findlay Creek and have always been happy with food and service! A couple of nights a week they have half price appitizers, the place is packed, that tells you how good the place is. We highly recommend the breakfast, great value! This place is going downhill. Came in for brunch at 11:30 am. Immediately noticed things like ; The floors are filthy. With food and shoe marks. The walls beside the booth/ tables has grease marks , splatter of food etc. Gross. Mugs are full of residue. Cutlery full of residue. The staff : three of us are eating yet we have 2 menus. And two pairs of cutlery. Waitress forgets my tea. No coffee refills. No check ups. Just put the food on the table and left. Coffee was terrible. Tasted stale. Home fries are bland. I ate a bagel with egg cheese bacon. Bacon undercooked. Outside of bagel caked in grease/ oil. No thanks. Basics need to improve big time. read more

I'm a veteran cook in restaurants/pubs and I was taught to cook with high standards to make sure every guest felt the price they paid justified the meal experience because dining is expensive and we all work hard for our money... we all deserve that respect. Unfortunately, you will not find that here and it should be down right insulting to both our wallet and intelligence. When I was cooking it was prepped from scratch and straight into the kitchen... that is what real cooking is supposed to be!!! This place cooks using mostly frozen food products and then slaps their guest in the face with a unreasonably high price that would be found on more premium pub fare that is properly cooked with care. And the worst of it is their misleading menu to confuse you about their specials etc. I've also worked as a graphic designer for many restaurants and this is a disgusting practice that is always demanded by companies. Bottom line... the industry has become a vessel steered by a crew of pirates. Dirty and thieving. Jonny's is no exception and they are quickly becoming the worst around. I have no empathy for any establishment of its kind and I definitely do not feel bad for leaving this review after receiving my ridiculous bill for the poor food and misguided advertising on so called specials. Just be honest and cook real food if you want to steal my hard earn money in this economy that is falling apart. Learn some respect. read more

Standard and safe place to eat. You will not be disappointed but you also won't be over thrilled. Standard road house style food with very good service. I have been here with both small and large groups and the service has always been excellent. It would be nice to see a more imaginative menu, however the onion soup is excellent. I have been going to this place for a few years now, but it is not as good as when it opened. They must have changed ownership or management,. The food is not up to par. Breakfast used to be good, but now it sucks, the bacon is so thing you can use it to floss your teeth. The BLT is a joke, 2 slices of bacon for $7.95. I ordered pizza one night, I swear it is a McCann frozen pizza, not worth the money. The potato skins were still frozen inside and had to send them back, the chicken wings were cold, as if they had sat on the counter for ten minutes. To sum it up, the place has gone down hill, and you can tell by how busy the restaurant is now, it's too bad, it was a great spot! read more

Love this place! This is my buddies and I's go to place, we're there at least every second week. Breakfast is awesome and very well priced but the wings and the crispy club wrap is what has us coming back so often. And the beer is cold, so you know you can't go wrong there ;) read more
