I have NOT bought a Car since 2006 and was never the type to Keeping Up with the Jones. Anyways I notice when going to work early morning my Chevy Trailblazer (Who I named Old Faithful) was reving really hard. As I continued to drive it out to where I had to go the Check Engine light went on. I had this problem before which is an Engine Misfire. On one of the Sparkplugs and Cylinders. I had contact my relative and she sent me to Midas In Eden Prairie, MN. Boy DID I MAKE A BIG MISTAKE. Midas told me I had to replace a whole cylinder head!! IT was gonna cost me $6k!! That is like a good used car! On top of that they we're inspecting other parts of the car that was not necessary! Unfortunately, I had to pay $122 for the diagnostic but I by change had contacted on Craig's List another Mechanic who referred me to Erik. I had told Erick and he himself was shocked at my story! He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay. All in All I only spent $400 and my engine was running great. Please come over here! He won't rip you off with Lies about the car! 5 stars in my book especially coming from Chicago, IL.

Neither of us know much about car maintenance, but we immediately pulled off to the side of the road on the intersection between Hwy 7 and Shady Oak Rd. Not five minutes into pulling over, a very generous woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties, wearing glasses, and was driving a dope blue car which I believe was a Toyota FJ60/62 (?) Either way, she dropped her dog off and told us if we were still there she would help us out. She came back just a few minutes later and picked us up and brought us to the O'Reilly just a few minutes away. We told her about this being the second time this has happened and she gave us great advice about our beater of a Ford Escape and how we should get a diagnostic test, check our oil dipstick a lot more frequently than we currently do, and to possibly check if our coolant had a leakage. Before she dropped us off, she told us how her father runs Expedition Autoworks and that it would be worth checking out. I've never once heard of this place as I don't live near the area, but the next time I need car maintenance I will absolutely check out Expedition Autoworks knowing the kindness that woman showed me and my boyfriend today. I wish I would've caught her name, but knowing that there's family of the person who helped us today, I will definitely make the drive and take my business to Expedition Autoworks.

We have been bringing our cars to Inline X for a number of years and the service is always amazing…read more This is a true family business and they always explain things in easily understandable terms. They would never suggest something that wasn't necessary and their prices are fantastic. They are up-front about what it will cost and will call to clear it with you before starting work. They even let you know if you have more time before you really have to worry. They have done everything from oil changes to a transmission for us and we have built a lot of trust with them. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. My highest recommendation!!!

Inline X Automotive is the real deal. The owners are hands on operators with one working the…read moreservice desk and another working in the repair bays. The place smells of quality. I decided to give Inline X a try after growing suspicious of the other Hopkins based service center I had been using. The other guys were nice enough but they charged me $95 for an oil and filter change explaining Ford out out a TSB requiring synthetic oil. Not true. So I searched Yelp and learned of Inline X Automotive's reputation. Inline X is serious about delivery great service. Phone calls are handled promptly and professionally. When walking in, I received a very positive greeting that made me feel like my business was truly appreciated. Even if a simple oil change. I have called an learned my date preference wasn't available but loved the reasons - one weekend a member of the crew was getting married and everyone wanted to go. The only other time was before a Holiday and the owner wanted his team to get off work on time. Every aspect of the customer experience seems thought out. Waiting area is nice but not overdone. Music is nice and upbeat but not too loud. The waiting space is clean. I even received a holiday card and I only visited Inline X three times. When bringing in my car for more major issues, Nhia explained his findings in lay person terms and provided me options. There was no hint of disappointment or degradation of service when I selected the low or mid tier repair option. I don't like coughing up dollars for auto repaired any more than the next guy. However, Inline X is the type of business I like to support knowing I receive value for the dollars I spend and I am supporting an independent business owner who knows how to deliver service and run a business. I highly recommend Inline X Automotive no matter the nature of the problem or the year make and model of car.

Most importantly, they are really into working on European cars, mostly German brands. They are very knowledgeable and know all the ins and outs of all the cars, their subtleties and nuances.
