I guess I got pizza on a bad day. Ordered a large pepperoni for pick up. Got there twenty minutes later and it was lukewarm at best. When I got it home the cheese had started to break up and get granular and each pepperoni had a teaspoon of oil in it. The crust had no crisp to it and was just chewy. Guys, this place is SO GOOD. I mean amazing! We got a Philly cheesesteak, a supreme stomboli and a medium pepperoni pizza. The pizza is literally my favorite pizza in Texas no kidding! This place is awesome! I've eaten there several times and the high quality of their food is very consistent. My favorite is the large Italian sausage, green pepper, and onion; or maybe it's their plain cheese. They're both great. The other thing that's great is their friendly service. Tonight was a perfect example. My pizza wasn't made right (seriously a miscommunication on my part over the phone); they had no problem making it again and were cheerful about it. I like these guys. They say it's Jersey style pizza. I don't know, I've never been there. All I can say is it's better than anything else around here. This is still the best pizza in Denton, hands down. Since my last review, I've had a chance to have the wings (about a million times since, actually) and just wanted to say those are also excellent. They're just the type of flavor and texture I love in a chicken wing. My personal favorite thing to do is order the large cheese and ten wing special--just under $20 and includes a 2 liter soda. This place is honestly very good it's very authentic, the pizza slice is a good price 3.50$ since nobody has said the price (: the only problem is that I tried to order a pizza slice for delivery but they said they didn't sell slices which I found odd because I had bought one a few days ago . This pizza is one of my favorites in town, if not my #1!! Unfortunately for myself it's on the complete opposite side of town or else this place would probably get all of my pizza business. This review is overdue - what a gem this place is. We were dying for a pizza from our fav yesterday, but moved to Denton and had to figure out where to go. We are soooo glad we tried Jonuzi's. The pizza was simply amazing, there was no other way to say it. We ordered a simple onion, green pepper and mushroom pizza, a side salad and chicken wings, and none of it disappointed. Delivered on time by a patient young man who had to deal with my barking dogs. Moreover, whoever answered the phone - don't stop whatever it is that you do, it's working for you. Thought I'd give this place a try after seeing it was rated on Yelp as the best Pizza in Denton, TX. Today I ordered a large supreme and a large cheese pizza with jalapeños. I've gotta say...the pizzas were indeed probably the best I've had in this area. It's New York style pizza that tasted as if it was cooked in a wood fired oven...although I know it was cooked on a conveyer belt oven. First time ordering from Jonuzis and I have to say I'm impressed. Usually I'm a supreme or pepperoni kinda girl, but I got the Quattro Formaggi today and it was SOOOO yummy. It was a 20 min pick up wait till when I called in, which isn't bad. I got home and took the first bite and knew I found one of my new fave pizza spots in Denton. We ordered a medium Supreme pizza tonight and it was amazing. The toppings were delicious and generous. The Italian sausage is great: super flavorful with just a little kick of spice to it. The sauce was there, but not just poured on. It was perfectly flavorful but not overwhelming. The crust...oh my, the crust. I make a great pizza, but this crust is it. We ordered delivery on Super Bowl Sunday as we didn't want to cook and wanted to just watch the game. We ordered a Philly Cheesesteak pizza, a grilled chicken sandwich and a white pizza (I think it was the Tuscany).
