Best food ever. Pizza crust is fresh and made to order . Great customer service. And amazing atmosphere

the overall ambiance is not bad but food isn't anything special. Pizza toppings don't taste the freshest and the bread isn't just thin but like cardboard quality. The pasta was pretty good but not much spinach as Florentines usually have But the food did come out warm and quickly!

    a pizza in a box

I ordered a large pizza double pepperoni and half sausage. The restaurant is not a mile and a half away. Yet, the pizza showed up cold. Double pepperoni equates to one pepperoni per 3 inch square. This is by far the WORST pizza I've had in a long long time. I called to talk to a manager but the manager only works Thursdays through early Sunday. In other words, no resolution to my issues. I haven't ordered from Marcos which is the same area but I recommend them before Palios. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT PALIOS!!!

This is our 2nd trip here and the nearest pizza place where we live. Our pizza was hot and crispy on the edge but not in the center. As before their crust by default is thin crust. A slice cannot be supported by itself and thus you may need utensils to cut it depending how many toppings you put on it. Ours was the supreme which had about 6 toppings. That had to be used with utensils. All in all it was ok but ive seen thin crust pizzas capable of holding toppings better. Their pizza crust reminds me of the same issue with heating a frozen pizza you buy from the grocery store. It gets crispy on the edge and soft in the center. Now im not suggesting that their crust could be frozen but the issues are similar. Our trip before we had the Hawaiian chicken and that had thin crust too. It was ok but cashews on a pizza is just weird. They have a Lunch special Mon Fri 11-3pm which for 9.99 you get a 3 topping small pizza or pasta or sandwich with a salad and a fountain drink for 9.99 They also have free Wifi which I am now using and speed is great. This restaurant is also BYOB so you could pick up some drinks at the nearby Tom Thumb and bring it here!!! Or Bring Your Own Booze.

It's a small quiet place. It's BYOB! Went at an odd time in the afternoon. Pizza was good. It could have been better if the crust was a bit thicker.

I have been to a few locations for Palio's pizza in the past so far this location is the best, awesome staff and manager, food amazing, I can't ask for more. If you are a pizza lover you better check it out.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered in Flower Mound from any business in 10 years. Food was delicious, but if you ever have an issue, expect to be frustrated by their management. And, don't send e-mails to their 'contact us' link on their website because it's unmanaged by Tik:Talk. When we called about our delivery issue on 12/30, we were told the manager was not on-duty and the owner was unavailable. Would you order food from a restaurant with no manager on-duty? When we called back, he was on vacation. Third attempt, he refused to refund us for 2 salads that were delivered more than 30-minutes after our pizza and pasta arrived. Their error and a manageable customer service situation to provide a refund and encourage future business. Instead, he argued with me and refused to do anything because my wife accepted the salads (don't do that either, unless you want them AFTER you have eaten dinner) and we didn't call right away (which I prefer not to address a service issue when we have company at the house (maybe just me, but I found it 100% ridiculous). Palio's deserves this poor rating and I hope this prevents others from experiencing similar frustration. We will not be sending any more business their way because excellent customer service is a direct reflection of ownership and should be a minimum requirement for any business. No thanks. What a shame too.

Love the Italian Classic Pizza! It's a family favorite! We enjoy heating the leftover the next day too.

Culinary Mastery in Flower Mound: A Transcendental Pizza Experience…read more It is a rare occurrence to encounter a dining establishment that treats the humble canvas of dough, sauce, and cheese with the reverence of a fine art gallery. Yet, tucked away in a pristine, modern shopping enclave in Flower Mound, **Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza** is doing exactly that. As a connoisseur who has traversed the country in pursuit of the perfect pie, I can say with unequivocal authority: this is not merely a meal; it is a masterclass in culinary composition. The Atmosphere of Excellence From the moment you cross the threshold, the experience is curated with precision. The environment feels fresh, intentional, and inviting. However, the true heartbeat of the restaurant is the service. In an era where genuine hospitality is increasingly elusive, our server, Claudia, operated at a level of executive-tier care. Her ability to balance professional attentiveness with a warm, family-oriented touch, even proactively engaging our four-year-old with a dough ball, was a masterstroke of guest relations. The floor management followed suit, providing not just oversight, but narrative depth, sharing the remarkable history of the founder's O1 Visa, a rare, prestigious designation reserved for individuals of "extraordinary ability." It is fitting, then, that the kitchen produces work of such caliber. The Gastronomic Journey The prologue to our meal, a Caprese salad paired with house-grade bread, oil, and balsamic, set a high bar for quality. The tomatoes and mozzarella were remarkably vibrant, possessing that elusive, sun-ripened depth that screams farm-to-table integrity. Then, the protagonists arrived: The Elisa: A triumph of balance. The interplay of ricotta and mozzarella provides a lush, creamy foundation, while the white truffle oil elevates the profile without overwhelming the palate. The addition of honey and black pepper creates a complex, symphonic finish that keeps the taste buds yearning for the next bite. It is, quite simply, an exercise in culinary restraint and harmony. The Star Beckham: A visual and structural feat, the star-shaped crust, filled to the brim with ricotta and bacon, is an architectural marvel. Removing the red onions allowed the savory depth of the bacon and the brightness of the basil and ranch to coalesce into a flavor profile that feels both innovative and deeply satisfying. The Traditional Pepperoni: Even the most basic offering was executed with technical perfection. When a four-year-old, the most honest of all food critics, declares it the best pizza they have ever consumed, you know the foundation of the dough and sauce is impeccable. We were further impressed by the beverage program, specifically the Mastri Birrai Umbri Blonde Ale. Its crisp, clean finish was the perfect accompaniment to the richness of the cheeses, proving that the beverage curation is just as thoughtful as the menu design. The Final Verdict We left Flower Mound with empty boxes and full hearts, the memory of the meal serving as the primary topic of conversation for the entire duration of our road trip back to El Paso. A "great" pizza can be found in many corners of Texas, but an *extraordinary* pizza is a distinct privilege. Mister O1 does not simply feed you; they transport you. My only professional grievance is the significant distance between El Paso and Flower Mound. If you find yourself anywhere near the North Texas area, treat this as a mandatory pilgrimage. It is, without reservation, a must-visit destination for anyone who treats pizza as a serious culinary art form.

Atmosphere: Bright and open in a strip mall with some outdoor seating. Nice table settings. 1 Star…read more Service: Fantastic. Our waiter explained the history of the shop as well as the menu. He never made us wait for anything and was very polite. 2 Stars Food: We ordered (essentially) 4 pizzas and a Caprese salad. The Caprese was fantastic. The high quality EVOO that was served with it was very fruity and delectable. We had the classic pepperoni pizza, a 1/2- 1/2 Federico and Meat Lovers 2.0, and a Maria. All three were very good. I like a little more sauce on mine with a bit more "tang" to it, but it was still good. Crust on all were that perfect crispy that would hold up to just holding it from the end crust. 1.5 Stars Overall: Good pizza, and next time we will try the "Extraordinary" pizzas which have ricotta stuffed in them. 4.5 Stars

I know my husband and I were a little disappointed at first that there was a set menu, but we decided to stay and begin our night. First of all, the ambiance of the place was great, even though they had extra tables set up for the night, and it was tight. It was still intimate, and such a good atmosphere. Our server was Nicki or Nikki. I apologize if I spelled it incorrectly. She is an amazing server. She was helpful with decision-making, patient, and just very attentive. The food, even though it was a set menu for the evening, had good options, and everything we chose was delicious and flavorful! We had no idea it would take an hour and a half for our food to show up. And when it did well, here's how it went. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the wise guy pizza. My wife enjoyed her plate. Based on the last time I ordered the same pizza a year ago what showed up on the table was a sad echo of something that used to be good. The sauce was very thin and to the point of almost being nonexistent. The meatballs were very stingy as if they were trying to increase their margins by short serving a basic pizza. Overall, it was very dry and lacking of any discernible taste. No doubt because it sat in the kitchen for quite awhile, given the unusual duration that it took for our food to show up. I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. It was a very dry and disappointing for something that used to be overloaded with flavor, sauce and meatball chunks. It was a marked contrast from when we had been here a year ago. What used to be a regular go to has turned into a sad disappointment. I'm putting it down to perhaps they had an off night. But we're not in a hurry to come back anytime soon to see if that was the case.
