Due to age and weight I don't eat pizza out very often. The problem is leftovers and willpower. Beni's solves those problems perfectly. Besides being really good pizza , it's served primarily by the slice. Hence no leftovers to taunt me the next morning. Besides that, you're not limited to one pie per party. Everyone get what they want. Usually there are three or four plus choices. And the slices are plenty big enough. And did I mention that they're really good? Ambience is basic hole in the wall, but in a nice way. Enough seating to be comfortable, very clean, with a personal touch. Beni's is family owned and it shows. Service is friendly and efficient. Specials are posted on the wall. Drink selection is limited to cans and bottles. Desserts are in a separate cooler. And the prices, in my opinion, are unbelievable reasonable. There used to be a pizza joint in Denton that had a 40 year old pizza sauce recipe they used - excellent NY style pizzas and philly cheesesteak sandwiches. They sold out a few years ago, the recipes changed and we quit ordering from them every week. I despaired of having a great philly cheesesteak ever again. When we heard of Beni's, we dared to hope - and have been ordering from them a couple of weeks now! My hubby always gets a meat pizza. I tried the cheesesteak with extra cheese. The delivery got to us 40 mins later each time. The pizza was a great NY style crust, quality ingredients, lots of meat. My sammich was everything I wanted! I threw the crinkle cut fries in the air fryer for a quick reheat to make them crispy again. The sammich was so big, it took up the entire plate. I just scooped out all of the meat from one side and piled it into the other. It comes with lettuce, tomato, thinly shaved beef, the added cheese was important - and the bread was good as well. It did remind me of that old place! My hubby loved the pizza too! We both ordered the cheesesteaks over the weekend. Still, could only eat 1/2. This time, I opted out of the lettuce and tomato. I think it could use 2x more cheese but the peppers were few and far between. No green peppers, so I used fresh jalapenos. I don't care for green peppers usually! We were talking about ordering pizza for dinner tonight but they close on Mondays. That's fine - everyone needs at least one day off. So, now I'll have to wait and order a veggie pizza for myself and see how I like it. So, if you're in this area, give them a shot. Get some. Life is too short for boring food and I can't wait to see how well they do here. It's definitely better than any chain IMO and worth the extra investment. read more

Ordered 3 different Pizzas and a large Cesar salad... really good! We are always looking for new Pizzas as we eat Pizza every Friday night. They do a great job with a traditional New York pizza and large slices. The crust was great and not overly loaded with cheese. We will be back and try other items. read more

A new restaurant in town and it had good local reviews on other social media sites. I had to get there to be the first "yelper." We were very disappointed. The restaurant was clean including the bathroom. That saved them on the review, some. The dining room is very small so if you have a group get your order to go. The dining area was very warm, almost stale feeling. The Ceasar salad was good. My wife and I both liked the dressing and the salad mix was fresh. The mozzarella sticks were just run of the mill frozen mozzarella sticks, nothing special. The Margherita pizza was disappointing. The crust was chewy, the sauce was just sauce, the mozzarella was rubbery, and to top it off there was dried basil. They couldn't use fresh. So basically the pizza looked and tasted like it was frozen. The was a plate of bread knots included. Now, I have never met a bread knot I didn't like...until today. I ate one and we threw the rest out. They were bland, cold, and overcooked. I was about to say the service reminded me of a school lunch room. But that would be an insult to all those friendly lunch ladies out there. No one was working the front when we went in. Do you order at the counter, from the table, using the QR on the menu? We figured it out, stand at counter and wait. The lady who brought out the order really said nothing and just handed us trays. We might try again and order a salad and something other than a pizza. Best cheesesteak on the planet by far. Nothing like that sandwich around here that I've ever had and I've looked all over. And on top of the food the owners, including little Beni, are awesome people. My husband and I just tried Beni's Pizza for the first time this evening and I had to call the shop and speak with the owner and tell him how excellent it was, because it is THAT good. Even delivered. My husband is from Chicago, and he's a die hard pizza lover, we've tried several places. We both agree that this is THE BEST pizza/italian we have ever had. I highly recommend Beni's Pizza to anyone looking for good pizza or Italian cuisine. This place is a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed. We've been in here three times so far. Its great New York style pizza. You know: the slice you have to fold. Its the only place around here, that i know of, that serves really good New York style pizza. And you can buy it by the slice! OMG Im practically back in New York. I haven't had anything but the pizza so far because its so good, but my friend says the cheese steak is really good with the right stuff on the right bread. Im going to try it next time I'm in. We also heard the buzz about the new kids in town! This is a small community and we crave something new. The kiddos and I decided to give Beni's Pizza a try and we LOVED it! Definitely a great NY style which is what most people look for. Fresh ingredients, plenty of cheese, toppings, crisp under carriage and fluffy chewy crusty goodness on the edges. Every pizza we tried checked all the marks. We love the pizza by the slice option and they knocked them out of the park! My daughter did the classic pepperoni, my son was adventurous and got the bbq chicken. I was hungies and went with a Philly cheesesteak pizza and supreme. I couldn't finish the two slices as they were huge. We also tried the hot wings, classic simple fry, no breading, tossed in a delicious Buffalo sauce, simple, not too spicy, delicious. Everything was piping hot, fresh and came out on time. The staff was warm and friendly. We have since been back for a couple pepperoni and cheese pies which were a huge hit during a boys sleepover! Great Pizza! Way better than Dominos and other local guys. the Beni's Special Pizza was a great value, great crust, great toppings, and hot from the oven. The Chef (Beni?) was friendly, working hard, and delivering excellent pizza. I highly recommend! It's not a huge place- and it's in a strip mall...but the pizza is excellent and worth it.
