I was a student in the same class as Korbi, and since her review describes a class I was standing…read morein the middle of, I wanted to add what I saw. It was the morning class and it had ten students. There were two first-timers that day: Korbi and another woman named Camille. Jason led the warm-up doing every movement himself in front of the room. He then walked us through the strength portion and the workout of the day (WOD), demonstrating each movement. During the strength portion he moved around the room giving feedback. During the WOD he circulated continuously giving students feedback. For context, my station/area was directly in front of hers, so I had a clear view for the entire workout. Before the clock started, while Jason was coordinating where everyone would be working out, she suddenly began the workout on her own. He then explained we weren't starting yet to which she responded, loudly, "I just don't get why we're all standing around doing nothing!" He explained again that the WOD is timed and he'd start the clock once everyone was placed. Then another student offered, "If you get lost, just watch me, we're at the same station doing the same thing." Once we started working out, she did a different number of reps than the ones that were written, she skipped movements, and totally worked out of order. I'm not sure what happened, maybe she wasn't paying attention when he went over the movements. The workout ran 11 minutes; she worked roughly six of them. In those six minutes I watched Jason go to her three separate times. Each time he corrected her form, demonstrated the movements again, and when she got it, told her "Good job." He also made sure she knew what the correct order was. Camille (also brand new that day and working right next to her) completed the whole workout and did it correctly. Jason also demonstrated some of the movements for her too, but in Camille's case it all went smoothly. The last time Jason came over to help Korbi, she had stopped doing the workout and was sitting on the floor texting on her phone. To his credit, he still tried to help, but she raised her voice at him and left the gym. I'll grant her this much, a Crossfit class for a first-timer can be intimidating, and I can't speak to how she felt from the inside, but from the outside she very resistant to Jason's instructions. In her review she says she repeatedly asked classmates for help, and I was three feet away -- she barely spoke to any of us, including the person who directly offered to guide her. Just so folks know, I'm not affiliated with the gym. I'm just a member who happened to be standing there and what I saw was an instructor trying to help a student by explaining/demonstrating the movements, checking in that student repeatedly in a short time, and the student responding rudely and walking out. For a more accurate assessment of this Crossfit gym, there are plenty of other reviews on this page worth reading.

Been attending CrossFit Intellect for 5 years now (time flies!)…read more I had never done Crossfit before I started but Jason (owner/head coach) is a great instructor who helped me learn the movements and scale the workouts to match my abilities. The classes are small enough for personalized instruction but there are enough people (at enough different levels) to promote some friendly competition. Overall a great place to workout, connect with people, and develop your skills and overall fitness. Can't recommend highly enough.

I've literally never written a review before, but this was the weirdest worst workout class…read moreexperience I've ever had. I've done almost every studio in LA and NYC and work out 5-6 times a week, and feel pretty well-versed in the LA workout scene. (Tracey Anderson, Silver Springs, Barrys, Heated Room, etc etccc). so I feel like I can confidently say this was not right... like something is so off about this place I walk in, and they show me around, point out the amenities, but then tell me I can't use the locker room because it's for members only. Okay... fine. I go into the waiting area, and even though the class is listed as 10:45 AM, it doesn't actually start until 10:58 AM. We're all just sitting there on our mats waiting. Then the instructor (who is the owner) walks in without saying a single word and literally just starts working out full speed ahead. No intro, no warm-up, no cues, no hi, just starts like full workout mode in the mirror facing herself - just loud music and silence from her like she has a mic on but isn't actually using it. Maybe she was saying something, but the music was so loud you wouldn't know. I left the room not knowing what her voice sounds like.. Then, a girl with a camera walks in, records her for 10 seconds, and leaves. What?? That was strange, but okay. The class keeps going--still no cues, no counting, no nothing and every few minutes, this camera girl comes back to film her again. You never do a move for more than 5 seconds, so you just have to watch her in the mirror to even know what's going on. It felt less like a workout class and more like we were just there to watch her work out. Otherwise, why would there be no cues, no corrections, no countdowns... and a camera girl filming her the whole time Oh, and there was a full-on ring light set up in front of her to make sure she had good lighting for these video clips. All this for a $40 class?? Am I the only one who thinks this is weird?? I read a lot of reviews before going, and now I'm genuinely wondering if I missed something or what...

Bad Business... I've been an online class customer since…read more2019. Last year I stopped my renewal subscription half way through the year on my iTunes app. Jan 1 2025- I had a charge from LEKfit for $439.99 for a recurring payment. I contacted through email on Jan 6 when I noticed the charges- thinking okay no big deal Im sure they will refund me, because this was a mistake. Nope- I have been corresponding over email for a week now with not much help, except then saying this is their policy- and I must have a email confirmation of cancelled services - which I have from my app only. Anyways , they won't refund me my money- even though I contacted them just days after charges. You would think they would have a grace period, or something prorated, or even a notification that you have an upcoming recurring charge. I guess this is how they run their business , and needless to say they have lost a long term customer.

It was not a clear establishment like OTF or F45. The class I took was on a Wednesday and it was only two of us. The workout was fine, but it defeated the purpose of attending a group workout which is how this was advertised. The coach was friendly but not motivating at all. All the marketing and promo is very misleading. Not returning.

Worst training experience ever…read more Chatted Steve on "Grindr" about personal training sessions. In the beginning Steve was very friendly and none stop communication until I decided to try his gym. Prior to signing up, I discussed that I wanted to train 4x a week with him before he passes me on to other people. So I signed up and paid $1200 ( waste of money) thinking i would train 4x as week with him. The next day I showed up Steve was there and no communication of who I was meeting, I ended up training with a 22 years "actor" who has zero interest in my fitness goals, but just there to do the job. It was impossible to train with anyone as everyone was busy with their clients and such. I didn't even get to use my 16 sessions leaving me owed 5. It was literally a scam of $1200 for believing him. And after that first initial meeting, I never heard from him or saw him. But he happened to be on Grindr recruiting next victims. Be careful when you signed up and never believe their 4 star reviews as it is shit show in there. He tent to hire "actors and artists who has zero experience in training but happened to use them and it's really sad. Don't believe me. I have receipts .

Even tho he tries to talk respectfully but consider that respect is not giving my money back to me, zoo Culture I give only one star just so you don't let people like him to be working / or even exercising at your place! We trusted you, Culture ‍ so we gave money to the trainers Are there. That seems like This was a trap for me. I saw his videos online on Instagram. He's sharing your location and unfortunately he gives the wrong information. We came there because of the activities he does and every single time he post them on Instagram he promised me I'm gonna be feel good and he will train me right after I pay him and if I have any problems while exercising, I'm gonna stay away from them but guess what Kambiz Nick, became my worst nightmare he got about $650 from me and he's yet to pay me my refund and I wouldn't expect Zoo Culture let the person like that being active in there environment. He already tells me he has problems with your facility and yet post pictures on his Instagram from this place . I am just sending his picture so if you go there know that this Guy is definitely not a trainer you want to go to. I wish Zoo Culture ‍ had a better customer service. This is very sad.
