The people I interacted with were incredibly professional and polite. The care was also very good. There were some things related to communication around what my insurance would and wouldn't cover that broke down a bit, and to be fair that was on me as much as them. The only reason I removed a star is because I had to wait a while for both of my appointments with them which isn't uncommon at medical providers but is still a frustration for patients/customers who might be operating on a tight timeline. The location is very convenient for anyone living in the neighborhood. The office was very clean. IMPORTANT: this is a note I'm sharing on every review I leave for medical providers regardless of my experience with them, as a PSA for others - it is NOT a reflection on the provider: ALWAYS confirm how a medical provider will 'code' a visit/procedure/service and understand how that relates to your insurance coverage BEFORE you schedule the visit/procedure/service. For example: will a preventative screening with a dermatologist be 'coded' in a way that'll compromise my insurance from covering a future preventative annual wellness check with my primary in the same calendar year? This is an extra step that can consume time but it is worth it. read more

The treatment itself was fine. However, this company is shady in its billing. They asked me for payment in full for the office visit (which they informed me would not be covered by my insurance), which i paid for immediately after my treatment. I never received any other bill from them. However, I found out 1 month later that they billed my insurance company for this same service. It doesn't hurt me financially, since I didn't have to pay a 2nd time, but it seems wrong for them to charge me in full for the service and then turn around and also bill the insurance company for the same service. read more

I've recently been under the care of Dr. Carqueville and her associate Dr. Kollmann in Skokie and at the Derm Institute of Chicago's Hinsdale office. They both have done a wonderful job--five stars! Very professional, very competent. However, in good conscience I'm obliged to subtract two stars from this review because of ongoing problems with their billing department. For reasons the billing department can't fully explain, the Derm Institute has problems communicating with my insurance provider with the result they keep sending me bills prior to settling claims with my insurer; my insurer advises me that I'm not obliged to pay anything until the claims are settled. This problem continues despite my having multiple phone conversations with the Derm Institute's billing department, including several conference calls involving myself and representatives of my insurer. What really annoys me is that on at least two occasions the Derm Institute has sent me phone text messages requesting payment in full for services rendered--due in 7 days! Each message has a link to an online invoice which, oddly, doesn't include an account number or invoice number. Again, my insurer tells me not to pay them until the claims are settled. Who sends medical bills by text anyway? Prior to writing this review, I contacted the Derm Institute's Hinsdale office to voice the concerns I'm expressing here and they suggested I contact the office manager via email, which I did. That was a week ago and I've heard nothing. In conclusion, I can recommend the medical services at the Derm Institute of Chicago, but beware of billing snafus that may continue long after you're healed. read more

Dr. Carqueville is wonderful. I have been in her capable hands for years now and have had multiple skin concerns successfully addressed. She is skilled and thoughtful in her approach and one of the only doctors I've actually enjoyed and looked forward to meeting with due to her lovely personality and energy. One of the best things about Dr. C's practice is the holistic approach - she connected me to Eve Persak, nutritional consultant extraordinaire. Eve is the kindest, most compassionate, empathic, nutritionist I've ever met. My goals are her goals and it feels so helpful to address the nutritional component of my skin health, along with any other concerns I have. She is not only lovely, but beyond smart and knowledgable. Her explanations of nutrition, health and skin (and how connected they all are) actually make sense to me when it would normally go over my head. Avoid this office at all costs. I had a spot on my nose which was biopsied and determined to be basal cell carcinoma. This biopsy was done by my dermatologist and I was referred to this doctor to perform a Mohs procedure. I had waited a few months before scheduling this consultation since I wasn't working full time and needed to pay out of pocket. Also after the biopsy the spot was no longer visible so I wasn't as concerned as maybe I should have been. My dermatologist sent the photos and records over and I went for the consultation. I was upfront about not making the appointment sooner mainly because it's an expensive procedure and money was tight. She told me that although you can't see the spot anymore, it's still crucial that I schedule the surgery as soon as possible because you don't know what's going on below the surface, it's on my face and it's very serious. She scheduled the surgery for Feb. 28 at 8 a.m. (2 weeks later) She said it would be $2,000, which was higher than I was expecting. I had voiced my concern to the staff up front and inquired about making payments. This appt.was $180 which I paid. A couple days later someone from the staff called to tell me I would have to pay minimum $250 per month. I explained that it was more than I could afford right away and could I pay a little less for awhile until my work picks up. She told me that she would check with the doctor and get back to me. I hadn't yet heard back and received a text message on 2/25 to confirm my 2/28 appt. I thought I would give them a call to make sure I could make the smaller payments. I called and they said they still had to get approval from the doctor. She called back later that day and said, "no the doctor said you would have to pay $250 per month minimum and if you can't we will have to cancel your appointment." Clearly the doctor had no concern for my actual health or well being--only about money. I was flabbergasted that they canceled my appointment just like that. To top it off I received a letter in the mail stating: The doctor recommended this surgery because there are many risks of this cancer if I don't have the surgery and if it's left untreated. It actually states: DESPITE OUR ATTEMPTS TO SCHEDULE THIS PROCEDURE, YOU HAVE REFUSED TO CONSENT TO OR SCHEDULE THIS PROCEDURE KNOWING THE RISKS! The letter is dated 2/25 She is a greedy unethical excuse for a doctor who is now lying to cover her ass. I wasn't even going to post a review but that letter just added insult to injury, literally. read more

Dr. Carqueville has left The Skin Care center. If you ask them where she is, they will tell you "she moved out of state" and fail to give her a message from you. Their evasion is half true. She's taking a fellowship in advanced surgery in Washington, but will return here one week a month to see patients. She may be prevented from calling her current patients by a covenant not to compete. In early summer, I scheduled an end-of-summer appointment with Dr. Carqueville for a general skin check. Both of my parents have skin cancer histories, so it's important that I'm checked for summer sun damage every August. The week prior to my August appointment, which was on a Saturday, Dr. Carqueville's staff called to reschedule because the doctor would not be in the office. I was rescheduled for a Saturday in September. The week prior to my September appointment, Dr. Carqueville's office called again to reschedule because the doctor would not be in the office. When I asked which days of the week the doctor was guaranteed to be in the office, I learned that she is rarely in the office on Saturdays--despite scheduling appointments for those days months in advance. I was rescheduled for a date in October when I was assured the doctor would be in the office. This was around four months after I'd originally reached out to schedule an appointment, after two appointments Dr. Carqueville's office canceled on short notice. At 3:30 pm the day before my 9:30 am appointment, the office called to say that they did not have a referral from my PCP on file, and that I'd need a referral to avoid paying out of pocket for the appointment. I didn't receive the message until after working hours, of course, and was unable to get a referral from my PCP with 18 hours notice outside regular business hours. Ultimately, I canceled my appointment and plan to work with another dermatologist. I'm writing this review to save others the frustration of working with Dr. Carqueville's office. While I can't speak to the doctor's expertise, I hope my experience attests to the difficulty of scheduling a reliable appointment date and the lack of consideration for prospective patients' time. read more

I saw Dr. Carqueville for psioriasis and acne that I've had since I was 10. I recently ran out of my medication and needed to see my previous dermatologist for a refill...but the wait time for an appointment was over a month. I am SO happy that I found Dr. Carqueville through Yelp. I was able to easily make an appointment and filled out all of my paperwork online. Even though I was 15 minutes late (oops), the staff members treated me with respect. She and her medical assistant were attentive when I voiced my concerns and gave me thorough medication teaching. When the pharmacy didn't receive one of my prescriptions, Dr. Carqueville talked to me on the phone and resent the prescription right away. I regret that I wasted my time with my previous dermatologist and wish that I had found The Skin Care Center sooner. I recommend her and her staff! read more

I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Carqueville! I've been seeing her now for 5 years and she is the absolute best. She has an amazing, artistic eye for men's faces and I have done filler (lip/mouth/under eye,) botox (forehead, eyes), three CO2 fractional laser face treatments and one non-ablative laser face treatment with her. Her skill is truly unmatched. She is incredibly skillful with applying filler and botox in ways that work perfectly with the male face and does not result in a feminized or "Real Housewives" effect -- it just looks great. If you're like me, you want people to think "Damn, he looks great" and *never* "Hmm, he had something done" -- Dr. Carqueville is keenly attuned to that way of thinking and is masterful in using products/procedures to achieve exactly what I want. I could go on and on about her and her staff (who are also great), but needless to say I'm a big fan and will be seeing her in a few weeks to get my botox touched up. I went to Dr. Carqueville for an earlobe repair. I had a piercing on my cartilage where the earring pulled out, and my earlobe piercing had elongated. Terrible, terrible, terrible! I'm generally not one to write a review, but one month later I still can't get over how terrible my experience was. I spent 5 or so minutes giving my history to her assistant nurse, waited another 5 minutes in the exam room, Dr. Carqueville came in, took take a look at my rash, took a biopsy, walked out without asking me any questions, and lets her nurse finish up. She spent less than 5 minutes with me! After getting a separate lab done through my primary care doctor and a second opinion from another dermatologist I was told that 1. the lab result Dr Carqueville diagnosed me was inconclusive (I brought in copies of the lab results from Dr Carqueville and my other doctor), 2. my symptoms didn't match up with her diagnosis. I've never visited a doctor that must have an assistant in the room with them in order for the doctor to do his/her job, and she actually had the audacity to say no when I asked if her nurse would leave the room. The best part? When I called to get a copy of my lab results, I was emailed my results as well as another patients lab results! So much incompetence in one office. I basically had $150 stolen from me. read more

Is it odd to say that a doctor's appointment made your day? Well, because that is exactly what happened today after I met with Dr. Carqueville. I scheduled an appointment with her based on these astounding Yelp reviews and I couldn't have been happier! Everyone from the front desk staff to the MA, Lisabeth (sp?), to Dr. Carqueville herself were extremely friendly and took the time to take care of me. It is important to note that I was their last patient of the day during evening hours. Even then, they were still really patient, accommodating, and sported smiles. I was so impressed! Dr. Carqueville is super sweet, smart, professional, and really considerate about the financial aspect of services. I will be starting several skin treatments with her soon (I previously had consultations with other specialists, but they definitely can't beat her kindness and genuine nature). She spoke to me in a lofty professional jargon much of which I could not understand. She removed so called pre-cancerous growths on my forehead which left scabs on my forehead. She did not prepare me for this nor did she make recommendations on how to treat them. It appears she has a primarily female clientele, because I distinctly heard two of her little girls say that I made them uneasy. Ladies, you knew I was gay and I if I gave you a thought at all, it was in wonderment at how an entire office could comprise of skanky women. The visit with the doctor lasted less than ten minutes with minimal treatment. I should post the bill here in the site. It's a work of art in the area of deception. I went to Dr Carqueville because I needed a dermatologist in the city for annual skin checks. My problem started when I went back in for an appt for my cystic acne. These were not some cysts that appeared overnight - they had been growing for about 2 months. I have a history of cystic acne dating back to high school and I explained that to Dr. Carqueville - what had worked before (oral meds, cortisone shots), how I had tried various benzoyl peroxide treatments the past 2 months and they weren't working, etc. Dr. Carqueville refused to give me any oral meds, saying it was too extreme and to make an appt and come back in a few weeks. Anyone who has had cystic acne knows this is incredibly painful to hear and typically if it's been there for months, time won't help. What she DID give me was a prescription for some face wash and moisturizer (I've never had any cystic acne go away with a topical solution...) that totaled out to almost $350.00(????) at the drugstore. I was disappointed and really frustrated because I felt like she didn't have my best interest in mind - did she actually listen to what I was saying, why is she trying to make me buy $$$ face wash. I'm back at my high school dermatologist - while it's a drive at least she knows how to address these issues. read more

Real talk here. No one likes talking about their dermatologist. It usually makes people think that you have something wrong with your skin or you're getting some "freshening up" done. It's embarrassing. I will SHOUT FROM THE MOUTAINTOPS how much I love Dr. Carqueville. First off, right from the jump, her staff is lovely. The waiting area is stylish. You feel great walking in there. But that means nothing - she could work in a grain silo and I would come back. Dr. Carqueville is not at all what you expect. She LISTENS. She's positive, enthusiastic, and you instantly realize that she's incredibly knowledgeable. She takes all of your concerns into consideration and walks you through every procedure. She isn't one of those dermatologists who cuts you off and says, "Well, I have a fail-proof remedy for this condition." She WANTS to know your story because she legitimately wants to help you. She works with you, guiding you to a solution - and she has never steered me wrong. I'll share two of my more embarrassing skin maladies that Doctor Carqueville has helped me with (out of MANY) so that you know what we're talking about here. - Number one. I have hyperhydrosis, meaning I sweat constantly and in great quantities. Now, I am not an injectables kind of girl (no judgement if you are, though). The month before my wedding (in Florida, no less) Dr. C shot my armpits full of Botox so my sweat glands would mind their own business. My wedding pictures are FLAWLESS. Didn't even hurt. - Number two. I had a cherry angioma on my butt. A big, red nasty thing that had its own freaking blood supply. Now? My butt is flawless. Well, dermatologically speaking. I could hit the gym. There are more stories, though they're more run of the mill face stuff. Everyone I've referred to her has loved her. You'll love her too. read more

Stay away from this doctor and the praxis she works for. The Skin Care Center. As you can read on other reviews this doctor should be called the BIOPSY DOCTOR. She wants to do biopsy even on on a Cystic Pimple, this is what happened to me. Terrible, terrible, terrible! I'm generally not one to write reviews about doctors, but months later I still can't get over how terrible my experience was and that I have to pay for that. This doctor was in the room with me for less then 10 minutes and all she wants to do was a biopsy, although it was not necessary. This is the most terrible doctor I ever visited. First of all, most of the people who works at her praxis are extremely rude. I had a "cystic-acne" pimple and saw Dr. Jordan Carqueville. She inject on the cyst a intralesional diluted corticosteroid and told me that if the cyst did not disappear I would have to come back to have it removed. Since the cyst didn't disappear I called and made an appointment at The Skin Care Center . On the appointment for the removal I went to the praxis and had towait for a very long time. I spoke with the lady on the reception asking what was going on, she said that I needed to wait and I told her that I couldn't , since I had another appointment. She spoke with the doctor and after a few minutes she told me to go in. Dr. Carqueville said that she was busy and told the nurse to take a look at the cyst. The nurse said that it was infected, because some liquid was coming out of it and Dr. Carqueville said that the nurse should do a biopsy? Biopsy ??? Are you kidding me? It is more then natural that out of a Cystic pimple there should come out some liquid. I explain this to her saying ... Dr. Carqueville it is the nature of a pimple to expel white pus and then eventually blood and then clear fluid, on the top of it, it is not red and it does not hurt, thus is not infected and I do not need a biopsy, but I need it to be removed. Bottom line is that since Dr. Carqueville didn't have the time for the removal she thought that was much easier to invent "an infection" do a biopsy and make some money out of it. I left this praxis to never come back. However, a few days later the praxis hit me with a bill for a "office visit" and another one for a biopsy. I tried to contest this bill several times, ending up that the Skin Care Center where Dr/ Carqueville works send the bill to collection. Stay far away from this doctor and her praxis as all they want is your money. read more

After spending a few days doing research on dermatologists in Chicago, I decided to go to see Dr. Carqueville. I was impressed with the online application that I was able to fill out prior to my visit. I have received a confirmation for my appt via email and a phone call to remind me. The office in Lakeview is very nice, spacious, clean and modern looking. After arriving I waited in the lobby for less than 5 mins. Laura H. came out and called my name and took me to the exam room. Laura is very nice, personable and made me feel at ease while reviewing my information. Dr. Carqueville came in shortly. She is very pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable and a good listener. After listening to what I have to say, Dr Carqueville started to exam the dark spots on my face and explained to me what it is. Even though it is not cancer or anything malignant, she gave me options what I want to do with it, without any pressure or trying to sell any unnecessary procedure or products. Five stars review is for both Dr. Carqueville and Laura H. I strongly recommend Dr. Carqueville if you are looking for a good, not just good, excellent dermatologist whether clinical or cosmetic. read more

Dr. Carqueville and her staff were great. Usually at a doctor's office you have to sit in an uncomfortable office, crowded with people, and waiting for between 30 minutes to an hour. With this doctor, everything was the opposite. The waiting room was pleasant, with bench style seating and a large variety of products to browse through. I also had no trouble scheduling my appointment, and the pre appointment online forms were thorough and quick. We had to wait for about 5 minutes total before seeing the doctor. Dr. Carqueville was very sweet and friendly, and I felt like she was actually listening to what we said. My brother was having a few skin issues, and Dr. Carqueville evaluated his lifestyle to figure out the root cause of the issues, and had a good explanation of the treatments, both the one performed in office and the one she prescribed. Spoiler alert: DIY wart removal never works... just go to the doctor and save yourself the trouble. Overall, I will go back to this office whenever I have any skincare issues. The doctor and nurses were great, and genuinely cared about our experience. Highly recommended. read more

Um.....amazing! She is an artist! I had a very scary mole that I knew was going to come back precancerous. Sure enough, it was. She took out a rather large chunk off my abdomen to make sure it was all removed. Stitched it up with perfection and I kid you not, I basically have NO SCAR! I don't know how she did it. I had this same surgery done on my back by a different dermatologist and it was a disaster. Giant scar that never went away (even after 5 years of healing). Highly highly recommend! I've been to multiple dermatologists around the Lakeview/Lincoln Park area, for the past 5 years. I've been prescribed multiple drugs to clear up a scalp condition, and not one of them helped. I walked into Dr. Carqueville's office, she immediately diagnosed my issue, and prescribed a medication that was never offered before! My insurance wouldn't cover it, so they worked for weeks to help with an appeal, and we finally got it! They have a lovely office, and the staff is absolutely the best! I never wrote any review before, but I have to do it now. People, if dr. J. Carqueville just come to room and before biopsy will say to you " you have a skin cancer" don't believe and hope for good. Dr. Carqueville : First: please, be more kind and have a mercy to people. Before to say this, have a result of biopsy first. Second: She was in office less than 5 min, but bill to my insurance shows 45+ min. I paid $ 40 for visit, now I have to pay $ 100 for biopsy. And third: She said biopsy result will be in week or two. After 8 days I called myself. Nurse said it is not cancer. Thanks G-d. Could you understand how I will all this week? After 2 weeks they call me again and said it is not cancer. Result was in office after first week, but they plan to call me in two weeks. If I didn't call myself, I will be worry one more week. I am not recommend this dr. to anybody. read more

I started seeing Dr. Carqueville about a year or so ago in her Glenview location and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. I was nervous (ok...petrified actually lol) about finding a new derm. who not only was a great clinician but also good w/cosmetic injectables, lasers, etc. I had continued to make the haul downtown for a LONG time to the plastic surgeon i'd been seeing for the cosmetic part and eventually knew I had to bite the bullet and find someone closer. The first visit, Dr. Carqueville put me completely at ease and was not the least bit annoyed at my nervousness (as some drs can be). She explained things to me and never pushed anything (if anything, she deterred me from doing more lol) and most importantly- did a phenomenal job. Everything looks completely natural and i dont think anyone would even know I've put anything in my face. I also see her for annual skin checks and I've found her to be very thorough in that regard as well. And I've had a few moles removed for testing (thankfully all good!) and she is so careful with her technique that i never ever got a small scar. I've had moles removed by other derms who just hack away (unnecessarily) and ended up with some not so nice looking marks once it's healed up. I also have to say that Dr. Carqueville is really really sweet and takes her time with you which is why sometimes the office does run late. But I'd rather wait for a great dr. because she takes her time with patients than be rushed through with a less thorough dr. When i book my appts I just factor in that there may be a long wait time (although i will say out of the handful of appts ive had, I've only waited past my appt time once or twice- one time was close to an hour- no biggie things happen- but the other was only maybe 20 min). The wait stuff should be expected in a busy high demand office- just factor it into your appt when you book. Front desk staff in Glenview has always been very friendly and helpful every time I've been there. The few nurses I've dealt with have been fine- wouldnt say overly friendly but based on some of these reviews maybe they've been dealing with some not so friendly patients most of the day lol. Please dont hesitate to see Dr. Carqueville (esp. if you are looking for cosmetic stuff). I cannot say enough great things about Dr Carqueville and her awesome staff. I've been seeing her for a few years for my skin cancer screenings. Recently, I had a terrible bout of contact dermatitis so her team did a patch allergy test. They were amazing and provided me with detailed descriptions of all of the things I was allergic to and what to look out for. They provided a resource that would help me pick products that did not contain the allergens. I mean the service was incredible! On top that, she does the best Botox in town hands down. She is a genius! I've been to a lot of places where they lay you down and draw a chart on your face before they do the injections. Not her, she's an expert and looks at you, then goes. It's perfect every time. People don't often know I have Botox because it looks so natural and no one believes that I am actually 40! That is all her!!! She works to help me me find what will keep me looking the youngest the longest in my budget. She refuses to do the overdone look so you always look like yourself. Overall a terrific doctor! I would recommend her for any dermalogical related problem and the fact that she's a genius with Botox and filler is just icing on the cake! read more

I raised my initial review from 3 to 5 stars. Went in for an appointment with Dr. Carqueville and received a few medications as well as some basic advice. Initially I was a little disappointed as I didn't receive as much information as I wanted about the various options. However, Dr. Carqueville quickly followed up the next day with a phone call to provide me with more information and future plans. She's obviously very busy but still found the time to have a thorough conversation with me about what should happen next. Much appreciated. She's also very friendly! On Tuesday afternoon 2 weeks ago I suddenly developed a terrible rash out of nowhere - it started on my face, and as soon as I noticed it I hit Yelp, looking for a good dermatologist. The rave reviews on Dr. Carqueville convinced me to call her - and I'm glad I did. I told the receptionist my situation - and that I was in a panic, as I was scheduled to be filmed for something on the coming Monday and needed help fixing my face FAST. She put me on the schedule for the very next morning - apologizing that it couldn't be sooner, as Dr. Carqueville is in another office on Tuesdays. She let me know they'd email me the patient history forms to fill out online - which I REALLY appreciated, as it means you don't have to get there early and fill out piles of paperwork when you're not feeling well. When I got there Tuesday the staff was polite and friendly, and it wasn't very long before Dr. Carqueville came into my exam room. Based on my medical history, she was able to identify the nature of the rash (which had spread to my legs as well!) - and although we weren't able to figure out what exactly had started it, she understood that my primary concern was being healed enough for Monday - and she made that the focus of her care, which I deeply appreciated. Within an hour I was back at home with a full range of creams and medications and instructions on everything I needed to do to heal in time for work. She also told me if i wasn't healing fast enough by the weekend, to call in, and they would do one more thing, to make sure I could get to work Monday. That did in fact happen, and they worked very quickly to get me the additional medication right away. Thanks to Dr. Carqueville's attention and her and her staff's quick response to my needs, my face was completely healed by Monday, and within that week, the rest of my rash had also completely healed. I have had this rash a couple of times in the past, and it has never gone away this quickly. I will definitely trust Dr. Carqueville to take care of my dermatology needs in future. read more

Your skin says a lot about you and when you're me (Tall, Red Hair, Blue Eyes and Fair Complexion), every blemish, wrinkle, sun-spot, bump and imperfection is amplified by my fair-skin type. So when I needed a Derm Dr after moving to Chicagoland, I mined all resources for the best one and the research paid off. It's been 4 years of going to Dr. Carqueville and things have been very, very good. I'm surprised at a few of the negative reviews, but (most) of them haven't said a positive review of anywhere they've been and that says more about the person than the business. I go to Dr Carqueville for cosmetic treatments, skin keratosis issue, hyperhidrosis and more. She's seen and done it all before so she's on the ready with the solution. Sometimes I have statements/questions regarding a previous visit and how I was affected (sharing these moments are to the benefit of the doctor and more importantly, the patient) and we'll discuss different remedies, their effects and outcomes. I had a question about billing, which her and/or the staff have reviewed immediately or within a few days. The staff in both offices are polite and courteous and the assisting nurse(s) have all been exceptional in the pre-interview as well as during my time with the Doctor. Over time, we've built a dialogue of trust and expectation that I only have with people I've worked side-by-side, 5 days a week, for years. That's rare with friends, let alone a Doctor ... and that makes my visits feel as personal as they are professional. Dr Carqueville has biopsied many skin irregularities and when I ask "why" (as in why not just cut it out?), she explains the type of irregularity, (precancerous lesions to a cyst in various stages of development) and the tests will determine the best procedure for the best outcome. There's been a few times I've had to have something cut out and previous doctors have left me with a scar ... yet, as others have stated, with Dr Carqueville's attention to detail, the results are spectacular, leaving little to no scarring! Now here's something that made me want to continue exclusively with Dr Carqueville. She's the doctor that doesn't just "Talks-The-Talk" but also "Walks-The-Walk". Using the science and procedures of modern, Dermatological Medicine ... she posts results on Instagram ... not just pictures of the before/after clients where she's made improvements, but also includes pictures of herself going through different, advanced and leading edge procedures, showing in full detail some of the procedural applications (sometimes not for the faint-of-heart). Then every day or so she'll post "her" results every few days and later, the long term gains. There are verrrrrrrry few doctors going through the procedures they advise along with pictures and videos of the Before/During/After ... and even "Long-Term-After" results - ON THEMSELVES! Who does that?!? ... Dr Carqueville, that's who! Seeing real images of what goes into great skin care without filters or leaving out the short-term, un-appealing image is testament to her belief in the treatment, her staff and the results. This isn't a puff-piece and I'm not a shill. I'm a man who's heritage includes fair-skin that burns easily causing sun-damage and skin cancers later in life. I grew up in New Jersey during the '80's when tanning salons and the "Jersey Shore" were the standard for the decade and I participated heartily in it all ... I am doing what I can to prevent further damage and to keep a youthful image in my public and professional career. I did my research and Dr Carqueville was my top pick.
