Braces can be complicated, because the whole ordeal is very lengthy and there's a lot that can go wrong. Over the course of my treatment, I often felt unclear about what was going on from appointment to appointment. The things Dr. Claudia was doing, and moving, and adjusting each time were never really explained to me.... but I chalk this up to her being incredibly busy. She was always shuffling between patients. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be a preference thing; if you or your kid needs more individual attention, this place may be tricky. That's really my only complaint, though. Dr. Claudia is incredibly friendly, very outgoing (!) and her entire staff are fantastic. Katie, Marisol, and Gabby and Lorena up front are the ones that come to mind right now. They were all really friendly, and Katie and Marisol were always as gentle as possible during my adjustments. The office is of course gorgeous. I love the cool lights on the wall that change colors. Dr. Claudia has excellent decorating taste and you can just tell she takes pride in her business and in what she does. So that's a huge plus. You can't really fault someone for being super busy - that means business is doing well, right? But I would gently advise them to remember that some patients need a little extra hand holding through something as *expensive* and time consuming as braces :) read more

Dr. Jordan and his staff are amazing! They're always available to answer any questions that you may have whether it be over the phone through email or even text message. They always explained what they were doing and why. I always felt very comfortable and well taken care of whenever I would go to any of my appointments. They were awesome about working with my schedule. I always talked about how great Dr Jordan and his team were to my friends. I would never shut up about them. So because of that I ended up convincing one of them to go to Dr Jordan. She's had nothing but good things to say every time I see her. I had originally started off my orthodontic Journey with a different doctor at that office space but little did I know that she was retiring a few months later. She turned her patients over to Dr. Jordan but her office never notified me. Dr. Jordan recently took over Dr. Claudia's practice. He and his staff are great! My wires broke after having them for 6 years. Dr Jordan was able to give me his professional opinion and gave me a great price to replace my top wires and retainers. He is very approachable and makes sure his customers are very satisfied. I was very impressed how he was able to replace my broken wires and fit me for new retainer all on the same day- When the practice was about to close. Dr. Jordan made sure I was able to get all the necessary things done before I left back home to Hercules (which is an hour drive to Petaluma). I was very happy with the customer service. Amy their receptionist is friendly and welcoming. She made sure she maintained in contact with me regarding when my retainer were done. When I received my retainer I was worried they were not mine. They were very different from the previous retainers I had. The material was different and tighter. Dr. Jordan and his staff accommodated me right away and made sure I was happy with my new retainers. Dr. Jordan taught me how to properly put them on and off and how to properly clean them. After wearing them now for a week I love the material -way better than the previous retainers Dr. Claudia gave me. Although they are tighter I feel that my teeth will not move. I am very happy with everything and highly recommend Dr. Jordan's office to all those who need or questioning getting braces. He gives you his honest and professional opinion and gives his customers a lot of options -its a free consultation. Overall, I rate Dr. Jordan's practice 5 stars! I had a WONDERFUL experience! I cracked a molar tooth 4 days before a week long vacation out of town and needed to be seen immediately. They were able to fit me in the day after I called to make the appointment! When i arrived I was very impressed with the look of the office. IT FELT FANCY. :) The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The girls at the front desk were so sweet and very professional! Dr. Ashtiani confirmed that I would need a root canal and I FREAKED out. They told me that they could get it done right then and there, and I agreed. He could tell I was extremely nervous and scared to get it done because of the stories I've heard but he was so comforting. He ensured me that I wouldn't feel anything at all and he was right! My daughter Nina loved her experience here. Her older sisters had their orthodontic treatment at a local Novato orthodontist, their treatment took over two years, and they had fewer issues than Nina. Nina was done in just over a year. The other orthodontist had prescribed using an expander. Dr. Claudia explained why with Nina's condition this was not necessary, and in fact would alter the bone structure of Nina's face. We were sooo glad to get this information. They took great care of Nina, and the office is always fun to visit. The new office is beautiful too, with just over one year of treatment! And Nina has a beautiful confident smile now! Fantastic, fantastic place. The facilities themselves are clean and modern, everyone who works there is genuinely happy to be there, and Dr. Claudia is of course amazing. I came in for a first appointment, and she went over ALL of my options and the benefits and costs of all of them. She even recommended that I go through a dentist to see if I could get some of it covered by insurance, and then went through a list of dentists with me and helped me pick one. After all that, I was charged nothing! If I ever need orthodontic services I am definitely coming back here, they really care about the patient and not just your paycheck. read more

Our son (and us) had a wonderful experience! A year ago he had a free check up and Dr. Karkia indicated he was fine and to come back for another check up in a year. This time there was an obvious issue and she was able to attend to it right away rather than have us come back. Our 7 year old was anxious before going and cried at the thought he might need braces. He got upset at the office again but Dr. Karkia talked him through it 5mn later he was happy as could be and now tells everyone he loves his braces. She was very perceptive and knew that dealing with it righ away was the way to go. The entire team is absolutely 1st class. They are kind, attentive, thoughtful and treat children as respectfully as adults. They are professionals through and through and do not cut corners, instead focusing on doing the best job in the most relaxing athmosphere. Highly recommended read more
