Let me begin by saying that I may not be the average patient of Petaluma Orthodontics as I am in my middle-ages and with no children. However, noticed just over a year ago that several of my bottom teeth had started to rearrange themselves and to my eye had become pretty unsightly. I was recommended to Petaluma Orthodontics. The entire experience, from my first consultation with Dr. DeBardinis and his treatment coordinator, Gina, to each of the follow-ups along the way have been wonderful. The office itself is friendly and cheerful with the entire building graced with an African Safari for its interior design. The staff is professional, while not overly clinical, meaning that I feel that everyone that works there is warm and friendly. Who would not want to go back for appointments? Dr. D (the shortened name that he welcomes you to use) is equally friendly and professional. He showed me what was going on with my teeth and recommended a year of Invisalign treatment. The work he did during this past year included carefully carving out additional space between some teeth, none of which was painful in the least. And he was right -- exactly a year later my teeth are straight. Actually, they are better than they were pre-treatment and I am truly grateful. As a parent, it's been very easy to schedule appointments, and the staff are always friendly and professional. For appointments, staff invite the child back, encouraging the child's independence, but also welcome parents if they want to join. Dr. Deberardinis is absolutely phenomenal and our experience with him was life changing. My son was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, needing a cpap at night and facing a serious reconstructive surgery. Thankfully, Dr. D, who had been my son's orthodontist for braces, got involved. I have had a 30 month experience with Dr. DeBerardinis and his wonderful staff. I am a senior patient (age 66+), who had a significant shifting of my bottom teeth over several years resulting in several years of intense and increasing facial pain. With Dr. D and his team, we decided to use braces and see if this would correct the shifting teeth enough to reduce the pain. If i obtained a beautiful smile in the process, EXCELLENT!. After 2 weeks with the braces, the pain was reduced 80%; completely after the first year. It took all 30 months to obtain the bite needed to be pain free. I got my braces by Dr. Woo at a cost of 7k over two years. A year later my teeth shifted and I went in to see Dr. Woo to get it fixed he quoted me 3200. I decided to do research and found a much cheaper orthodontist to get the work done by whom is just as good if not better. After I declined to go with Dr. Woo their office sent me a bill for my consultation and x-Rays, other offices wouldn't ask me to pay for these regardless. These people are not worth the money they are asking. There are plenty of other orthodontics that are just as good if not better then them at much better price. I truly wish I went to more consultations before I chose their office. Now I have a much better orthodontist Dr. Bernstein that's doing a great job at a great rate. So if you wanna pay for an over priced office that does okay work then go here. read more

I am so pleased with the orthodontic care received by my two children many years ago (teeth are still perfect) and most recently by me, at age 55! Dr. Woo is exceptionally talented and my experience over the course of many years is that their entire team is patient, friendly and helpful through every stage of treatment. Both my dentist and periodontist, who shared responsibility for the treatment plan to convert my bridge to an implant, were so impressed and still cannot stop talking about the fact that Dr. Woo was able to successfully move one of my teeth a full space over, thus eliminating the need to have a bone graft done by the periodontist, which, all agreed, may or may not have been successful. Dr. Woo's skilled, precise and successful movement of the tooth allowed new bone to grow at the site, thus eliminating the dark sunken appearance in that area so that it once again has a healthy pink glow and I was able to proceed with the planned implant! I am extremely grateful, as the improvement to my appearance is very noticeable in photos! I love my beautiful new smile, but even more importantly, the health of my bone, gums and teeth are all excellent following treatment. With my bottom teeth no longer crowded, I am able to properly maintain them and now will be able to have restoration done should it be required in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Woo & Deberadinis, along with their entire team, for their professionalism and care, and as an added bonus, their new office space is beautiful and spacious with state-of-the-art equipment. read more

We had a great experience at Dr. Woo, Dr. Debarardini's office. A few years before our son had his braces put on, Dr. Woo provided a free consultation to inform us what our son would need. They followed up a year later to check in and have him come back for another free consultation. We knew that he would need braces for 24-30 months and the overall experience with the doctors and staff was great! Our son got his braces off in 24 months because he followed all of the 'plan' of what he needed to do. They offered an interest free payment plan, which billed us the difference between what our insurance covered and what is out of pocket - very convenient. Office is very clean and professional. The staff are very attentive and personable, remembering everyone's name. Appointments were easy to make and change if necessary and they follow up with reminders. I rarely got voice mail when I called, but when I did, I received a call back fairly quickly. I highly recommend Petaluma Orthodontics!! read more

Retainers, these days are expensive. After having braces on for over a year at considerable cost, the dentists suggested my son wear a retainer for the rest of his life (dreaming a bit). The retainer was expensive, and was broken in a couple of weeks. Couple of hundred later, the retainer was broken again. Now we're looking at another $400. At this rate, I figure it will cost him and us about $62,400 by the time he's 50. The retainers are flimsy, easily broken, no replacement policy, no insurance available. When I was young I tried to break mine and couldn't. This is ridiculous. read more

I spent so long going here. I first started going here in 2012 and only just now, today, have finished all the oral corrections in my mouth. I had to get braces on and I had a severely messed up underbite. They fixed it completely. I was looking at my face from beforehand and it was not a pretty sight, they managed to fix it tenfold. The staff is also amazing, they are all super nice and kind. They were always patient with me, and as a patient, I was a lot of work. I had a terrible gag-reflex that took me very long to work through, but they were kind and easy going, always trying to find workarounds and just make my experience there more pleasurable. Dr. Woo was always a friendly sight and a great doctor. He always knew what to do with my mouth, most of the time I just followed his instructions not knowing too much and it went perfectly. I had faith in him and he was great, fixed it all right up perfectly.
