i have tried reaching out to the manager/owner a myraid (4) of times. It has been extremely disappointing across the board. I seldom write negative reviews but after multiple attempts to talk with the folks in charge, i felt the need let others know the trying experiences we have had with Jordan's corner. I am sure most of you do not know that you have to cancel 30 days in advance. What is not expressed is that is 30 days from your monthly billing cycle. We called the day after after billing cycle (had no idea when are billing cycle was in the first place), and was told that we would have to pay not only for the upcoming month, but because we missed the cut off by one day, we would be billed for the following month as well (2 months from the day we wanted to cancel. I tried repeated to contact the manager/owner and was told that she would get back to me shortly. The following time, i was told that she works full time and would have to get back to me the following week. Two weeks later, I followed up and again was told she is quite busy but would definitely get back to me later that day. We did this two more times over the following months. Every time, I was more than patient and courteous with whomever answered the phone. This is just simply not any way to run a business. I understand that many people choose Jordans Corner because their is not much else to do for the little ones... especially, inside and hot days... but truly cannot understand why customer service is not a priority. I have not even brought up the fact that they did not make us aware that their top employee (who engaged amazingly with the littles and was the main attraction for show and tell, dance alongs etc. was no longer employed. We called multiple times and aske for her but was simply told they did not think she would be coming back. Again, did not let us know why, or if there were in the process of hiring her replacement (she was phenomenal!). Overall a very trying and disappointing experience! read more

Perfect for staying in out of the heat while offering your toddler an amazing enriching experience. In addition to all the high quality play there is space to have a snack (high chair and little chairs) and go potty (Accommodations for littles and bigs) And for the babies a tummy time area and bottle or breastfeeding is easy with couches and chairs for lounging and relaxing. Mom/ Dad and little kids could spend a lovely morning or afternoon here. Great spot for a play date allowing Mamas the environment to chat while the kids play. To the anonymous person who gave a review of one star regarding the ringworm... I have been coming here since the place is opened. My kid now is three and a half. She has never been sick from Jordan's corner. I take her all over town to the children's museum, libraries, swimming, uptown jungle and all other places. By far Jordan's corner is the cleanest place. The staff is constantly cleaning and wiping things down. I'm actually pretty sad, that my kid is getting to the point that she's outgrowing Jordan's corner. I'm sorry you feel this way but I have to contradict you. I truly hope your kid gets better soon. read more

I love this little indoor play area for my two year old. It's wonderful to have access to sensory projects and great Montessori toys that I just don't have the space for. It's perfect for those hot summer days. It can get pricey, but I do think it's worth the monthly membership. I look forward to my trips there and can't wait to build my toddler's skills and make memories with him in a safe and contained environment. Try it out at the hourly rate if you're unsure, but I think it will be a summer must for families with kids under 5 in the Scottsdale area. read more

I went to the place a few months ago and again recently. My baby loved this place and did not want to leave. It was a great place for babies and toddlers but there were a few things I was not happy with: 1. I was there from 9am to 11:30am and from 3:30-6. The placed was re-organized once around 4:30pm. I understand the nature of the indoor playground but I wish they cleaned and organized the place more frequently. 2. There were multiple children who had a cold which was understandable. However, there was a child who had a bad runny nose and literately a half of her tank top was completely wet from it. She is a child. She wiped her nose with her hands and put the mucous on all of the toys. Her mom was busy talking to the other moms. There were two staff members sitting in the front. I wish the staff frequently watched the area and gave some guidances to parents when it was necessary. Although I sanitized my baby's hands while she was there, she got sick both times she went to Jordan's Corner. If your family is immune to that, that should be okay. But if your baby doesn't go to a daycare or your family has an event or a trip coming up, you should be careful planning your trip to Jordan's Corner. read more

As a pediatric occupational therapist I knew I had to check out this inclusive play space centered around purposeful play and sensory experiences. It was amazing! There was a wide variety of open ended toys, things to climb and slides, swings, a ball pit, crash pad, sensory tiles, shopping carts and so much more. My 15 month old son and I had a blast! Jordan's Corner employees were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our time there and were cleaning and organizing toys that littles had moved very often. We will definitely be returning even though it's not close to where we live in Goodyear. It's incredibly important to have inclusive spaces for the kiddos in our community and I'm so happy that Jordan's Corner is an option for us. read more

Terrible experience today. The space is small but more importantly filled with rude entitled people. Because bigger kids were running and all seating areas were occupied I had to sit by the wall with my baby who is just starting to crawl. When this spot eventually also became in the way of the swing I had some ladies complain and employees asked me to move onto a chair which they found and not have my baby crawl. They advertise this place as inclusive 6+ month. I definitely din't feel like they met or even tried to meet this promise. Apparently some kids are more important then others here. I will definitely not be coming back there ever again. UPDATE Since you are not allowed to respond to the business owner's comment I am adding the response below. - Your assumptions were incorrect since you didn't bother to hear my side of the story and were not present at the time of the argument origination. - I wasn't taking advantage of the free visit as I also had an older toddler there with a second guardian. - I wasn't hit by a swing so need to concern yourself with liability issues - by your logic any parent can come to another parent at any time and say you and your kid have to move now because my kid needs to be where you are right now?? read more

We love the concept of this place. The freedom to play with so many different toys! However we finally had to cancel our membership because like clock work we would get sick after playing here Every. Single. Time. Since we stopped coming (but did not stop other activities we do) we have rarely gotten sick. They DO NOT clean enough. We have been there so many times where the staff is just sitting and talking when really someone should be cleaning constantly. I also feel like they don't do a great job at regulating sick kids (and kids older than 5). Again, great concept, but not clean enough. read more

Wow here to UPDATE MY REVIEW! Now I have been CALLED AN ABLEIST ON THE OWNERS INSTAGRAM!! (See screen shots in photos) Don't bother leaving any review unless it's 5 stars or you will be belittled on social media like she does every negative review instead of taking it constructively. VERY immature and unprofessional. Yes my 2 year DID have trouble navigating with children with autism. I have talked to her, shown her Julia on Sesame Street etc. but when a she is repeatedly in tears because she doesn't understand autism (AT 2 years old) and can't play with toys or jump on the trampoline at all because the child might hit her and the parent is pushing her away, she was CONFUSED and UPSET. The mother of the child was confused and upset as well, and the child with autism was upset. As I stated very nicely, it is hard for toddlers to understand. This did not happen with one child but multiple children there. She left sad not understanding why the kids didn't like her or want to play with her and confused why their mommy was mean to her. I try my best to explain but when you have a 2 year old they can only understand so much. I was simply giving a heads up to other parents (obviously two other people already agree with in less that 8 hours) of the situation. That does not make me an "ableist". The owner was extremely rude to even call a mother of a child who was struggling just as much as those with special needs, names. WOW. Just lost our future business. Original review below: Let me start with the fact, I hope the owner can take my review constructively, because I am truly just giving my honest input. It was a great play place with a great concept. 1. It's not for kids over 2.5-3 years 2. It needs to be cleaned in some areas. The couches for adults had what appeared to be pee (yellow stains ) on them. All of the adult seating areas were dirty. And NO ONE was cleaning the entire time. It was basically like playing in my kids messy room with toys thrown all over. I understand there are constantly kids, but they could consistently clean. 3. This is mainly a place for kids with autism/special needs. My children were not. And it was very hard on both them and the other kiddos to navigate. This led to a lot of meltdowns on both ends and frustrated parents. I have tried to have talks with my kiddos because I want them to respect everyone, but at this young age it's hard for their minds to comprehend especially when it comes to play time. I am HAPPY to see such an inclusive place just a heads up to discuss disabilities with your kids before going. Maybe they could have a class that teaches toddlers about different disabilities and how to respect other kids disabilities. That would actually be very helpful! 4. The environment was extremely overstimulating. It's a SMALL space with a lot of kids, I know they have to make money but capacity should be reevaluated, especially in respect to those who have sensory disorders or autism. If your child does have sensory issues or autism I recommend bringing head phones. I saw a few kids with those on that seemed to help them. 5. Overall, My kiddos had fun and it has great potential. I do have to say it is very SAFE! I loved the check in check out process. There is really no way for kids to get hurt. Everything is very safe and you can relax for the most part. I wish I had found this place at the beginning of the summer! What a great idea, and it is very well thought out and put together. Our tiny human was born in 2020 and so is still very timid out in the world after lockdown. Everyone was playing well together and sharing toys and equipment. I absolutely love this place! My toddler had the time of her life! So many sensory tables set up throughout! Crafts, bouncy house, a full kitchen, jungle gym, etc. Jordan's corner reminds me of the Phoenix Childrens Museum except it's much smaller and more intimate. We've been looking forward to Jordan's Corner opening with it being located just under 2 miles away from our home! Truly nothing like it in AZ that we've come across and has such a unique concept for children up to 6 years old. We have an almost 2 year old and she has been having the time of her life every day that we've spent here. Hours on end of play and education, meeting new families and speaking with the staff members. We chose the monthly membership as it has so many incredible benefits and endless amounts of fun and experiences to partake in at no additional cost. While I don't agree with the negative review on here, I can relate that it is discouraging when your child gets sick after being in a public place with other children and people they've never been around before. However, I can personally attest that after spending several hours a day this past week at Jordan's Corner, I witnessed Janelle and others cleaning several times. From picking up toys, disinfecting areas (supplying hand sanitizer), rearranging play areas to accommodate everything happening when new classes/experiences begin and end, etc. Kids get sick easily in this age range. I just made sure we visited the restroom a few times and thoroughly washed our hands but not one person while there ever seemed to have any noticeable illnesses so I felt very confident having my daughter play there knowing I was also doing my part. The owner has shown so much of her thoughtfulness into every piece. They continuously asked beforehand what would make Jordan's Corner into a place where parents can take their littles that is not just limited to certain groups and more inclusive. Let me say that they did just that. So much for sensory play! I loved that they switch it up and that it's like you went over for a play date with at home items. Nothing too "fancy" about them. Everything is aesthetically beautiful and yet has so much more meaning behind it. The space really is inclusive for every child and that is my favorite part. They provide classes and so many events that are amazing and it truly makes them stand out with the different types of things they offer. I absolutely love the local shopping in the store as well. They carry Elyse'S Attic, which is a local boutique that Carrie's Tutu De Monde and Petit Maison's beautiful collections and SO much more! Cute idea and great for small ones. Business sign very hard to read and doesn't really tell you what the business is from the street. From the website I thought things would be a little different. I didn't realize I had to go in and supervise and follow my child around. I thought I could hang out and drink a coffee and watch from a seat. My child is 5.5 y/o. Also, website says this is for 0-6 y/o, but I think 6 is too old for this place. My child was too tall for some of the activities. We were here towards the end of the day and they started spraying cleaner and sanitizing stations while kids were still here. So kids could no longer play with those items. I don't appreciate the cleaner being sprayed around the children. They should take the toys to a back area to sanitize them and use a soaked cleaning towel to clean the larger surfaces so chemical spray isn't being sprayed around children. Also, I noticed in the play kitchen area there was a child playing with a small Downy fabric softener bottle. I thought "hmm maybe it's a pretend one?" Then the child opened it and I got a strong smell of the fragrance! No matter how much you clean those bottles they never get rid of the smell. The kitchen area also had containers that had pieces of small rice in various places. This is a hazard for little ones. I let the front desk know my child had found some. It's a great concept. I think they just have some growing pains being a new business. read more

Our new FAVORITE play place! I have two toddlers under 3, and they absolutely love going to Jordan's Corner! It is a place where they can make friends, do art projects, and have experiences with sensory play. There are plenty activities for fine motor skills and gross motor skills. With an autistic son, a place that advocates for inclusivity and acceptance already has my heart! The fact that it was wonderful inside was just the cherry on top. They had these books around which makes me even happier. Children should be aware that there are children with disabilities and that they deserve the same play opportunities as everyone else! I discovered Jordan's Corner early June while my baby was 9 months old. She's at that stage of exploring, crawling, and being much more aware of her surroundings. We absolutely love Jordan's corner. There is so much fun stuff for my kiddo (almost 1 year) to play with and explore. We've met lots of nice parents and kids as well.
