Isaac was a pleasure to work with. I brought my father in to find a suit, shirt, tie, socks, belt, and shoes for my wedding. The entire process took only about 30 minutes. Isaac asked what we were looking for, listened carefully, found exactly what we needed, and helped arrange the alterations. From the moment I walked in, Ms Personality watched me stand at the counter for a solid minute before approaching me. I felt like I was wasting her time trying to get help. She picked the wrong color suit Off the wedding account (I had to point to the correct one). She told me my 46 suit jacket fit perfectly...(even after I told her I'm a 42-44). She looked frustrated when I requested a vest to go with the suit, I had to call my brother (the groom) just to confirm we were supposed to have a vest. He said it was. The entire fitting seemed like I was SMH. At this point I told the lady I have a woman who will tailor my suit. She told her co worker ("Ya his friend is going to tailor it" and laughed. They didn't have my size in the vest in stock so I asked if they can order one and ship it to the house. They said yes and when I saw the receipt it had $8 shipping included. Keeps getting better. The entire interaction with her and also with a short guy who seemed like the manager (I think he was the manager) had Zero customer service skills, zero professionalism. The only person there that actually held a normal conversation with me was a young tall kid who looked like he was knowledgeable (and enjoyed) his job. Not surprised this place has bad reviews. You won't see me back there again. read more

Went in for a tux fitting for my son's prom. We had Pierre help us. He couldn't have been nicer and was so helpful with his suggestions. When we were checking out he was acknowledging customers as they walked in-greeting them and directing them to what they needed. Great customer service. It was a wonderful experience. read more

Today I saw a customer after customer walking out because of the lack of customer support. One woman, cashing somebody out for a sale spent far too much time, wrapping up the sale, including interjecting yourself with other associates helping customers. people just left what they were planning on buying on the shelf and walking out. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to do a transaction for a shirt and tie. Taking five minutes to put a handkerchief in wrapping paper is insane. Regional management needs to audit this location. read more

So I got my custom built suit ordered from the Framingham location, and it was complete garbage, but Nina and Sandy at this mansfeild crossing location took my terrible suit and made it perfect! I have nothing but good things to say about this location and all of the staff that helped me. I will definitely be buying another custom suit and will be from this location! Honestly, I was so embarrassed and upset about how my suit looked (before bringing it to this store for multiple alterations) and me having to wear it to my godsons baptism, but the staff here did such a great job I walked out smiling ear to ear and can't wait to wear my suit again now! Last night was my sister's wedding. My husband was guaranteed his suit color was bright navy despite me telling the employees several times that it didn't look like the picture online or like the other suits. I was made to feel like I didn't know anything and actually laughed at when we were in store. Not surprised at all when we compared the groomsmen's suits and of course my husband's is a completely different color. I'd post the picture but it won't allow me to. I was starting at a new Sales Position and wanted to get two pairs of suits. The Salesman was very condescending and he constantly made rude remarks throughout the sale process. I finally got the two suits, despite the hype about their quality, they did not last more than 4 months before the material started fading. I would recommend strongly to stay away from this Company. Their products are very cheaply made and subpar quality. read more

We had 14 suits ordered for our wedding and the process has been nothing short of terrible. The following is the list of things that have gone wrong since placing our order. 1. Received a notice in the mail saying that the groom's suit would not be in for 2 months. In actuality the suit was in the store. We found out when we called to check in on it - no one from the store called to notify us. 2. The groomsmen ordered their suits from the closest location to their home or work. We asked for the suits to be sent to those respective locations; however, they all came into one location and we had to direct the Mansfield store as to which suits should be sent to the varying locations. 3. One groomsman got a phone call from each of the stores saying that his suit was in. His suit was at the Mansfield location. The other groomsmen who actually purchased the suits never got phone calls. In the end, we had to call one of the stores to give them the correct contact information. 4. Two groomsmen were sized so incorrectly that new suits had to be ordered for them. The lady who initially sized them was afraid to help them because she didn't want to size them incorrectly. She fought with a co-worker in front of them over the issue. 5. One person was tailored to the wrong pair of pants and had to go back in to be re-tailored. 6. One person's suit was missing when he went to go pick it up for tailoring from the Boylston store, when in fact it was in the backroom. 7. One person was given two pairs of pants - pleated and non-pleated. They weren't sure what the correct order was. He had to call us to confirm. 8. The groom went to pick up his suit tailored suit and they gave him back the wrong one. They couldn't find his correct one - it was in the backroom the entire time. When he went back to pick up his tailored suit - it was tailored incorrectly. 9. There were two suits with one person's name on it. They could not determine which was the correct one and if he had already come in for tailoring or not. We had to call him to ask. 10. The assistant manager at the Mansfield location refused to help us when we were in the store trying to locate all of the suits. He blamed his employee who helped with the order, walked away from us and proceeded to help another customer. While refusing to help us, he was feeding the other customer lines such as: "You're not only going to be the father of the bride but the best man in this suit." 11. Several suits could not be located - the store does not have a tracking system - and as such we had to track down several of the suits for them. They also couldn't remember which store in NJ they sent a particular suit to and had to call every store in the state to try and locate it. 12. The store and regional managers called us to say "sorry" but not to offer any form of compensation for those individuals who had to back in multiple times to stores because of missing suits, incorrect sizing, wrong pant type, etc. They felt that they did their job by helping to locate the suits. In the end the groom's suit and several of the groomsmen's alterations were refunded. 13. We had to bring the grooms suit to a non-affiliated tailor to have the suit fixed. The alterations done at Jos. A. Bank were TERRIBLE. The suit was an incorrect size from the beginning, the jacket was way too long and the pants were sizes too big. As a result of talentless and careless tailoring, the pants were taken in too much in the back and not enough in the leg - the pockets stick far out and the pant legs are baggier than sweatpants. The jacket is also being taken up an inch. My advice, get a custom made suit from a company like Tailored Republic. The extra money will be well worth the quality and effortless process. read more

First off both salesman had zero style and were somehow sloppily dressed. Granted it was late in the day about an hour before closing nonetheless one would think a clothing allowance is provided. They were just two circles in a square peg all around. I was told that if I were to purchase a type of shirt that the monogramming was at no charge. Two days later remembering this fact I wanted to check re the monogram. I could care less ab it but I wanted them to have my info. I called back spoke to a "salesman " instead of checking the type of shirt or at the least looking up my acct. he insisted it was $10 for monogramming I told him I would not just make this up. Still never looked up my info still never asked someone who might know. Just the simple fact I spent just under a 1000 for a custom suit. He should hav checked and didn't. I will never buy another stitch of fabric from that Jos a bank I'll stick to the one in Barrington RI. They know how to treat people. The staff is second to none. And they have style and professionalism. Something the Mansfield store lacks on every level. read more

I went to this location today to take advantage of their 4 for 1 sale. I assumed a sales person would come up to me and ask me how they could assist me which is what happens every time I enter a retail store. Not this time, no one even said hello to me. I've never bought a suite before and was hoping someone could inform me which suits were part of the deal or help me with some other basic questions I might have. I walked around the store for 20 minutes waiting for some help but no one came. It seemed they only had one person working at the time and he kept rushing from the backroom to the cash register and back again without looking up once to see if any customer needed assistance. read more

What an annoying experience. Laura (who told us her name more times than I can remember) was so pushy. I get it, you are on commission, but when I told her my husband and I just wanted to look around a bit and ensured her I would find HER when we were ready, ignored my request and proceeded to tell my husband every single item that was on sale and special that day. After he finally got through to her that he just wanted some space to look, she came over to me in the suit dept where I had fled to get away from her and fired a string of questions at me about what he needed, what was in his closet, where would he where it, did he own a suit, what size was he? All she accomplished was chasing us out the door because she was so over bearing. We took our money else where and bought him a great wardrobe and were helped by pleasant staff with stellar listening skills. "Laura" could take some lessons from this other stores staff. read more
