These pancakes were better than any diner pancake I've ever had. Food was amazing, service was great, will be back for lunch or dinner soon

The food was really good . Service was good this little place needs some economies of scale . We can't figure out how 2x$15 meals , 2 topochicos , and extra bowl of chips $2.99 and a two tablespoons of green sauce (see silver shot in pic ) add up to $54+. With tip $64+. , For a hole in the wall diner is a bit much . I could go to full scratch kitchen and it would be this much with drinks . Sadly , I probably won't ever go back. They don't give an itemized bill so no telling .

While in Fort Worth for a training my colleague and I sought out a local, hole in the wall Mexican joint for lunch- Josefina's did NOT disappoint! Service was great! Our food was flavorful from the salsa to the appetizer (Best Friends: bean dip, queso and guacamole) and on to our entrees! So much food, for not a big cost! My only complaint was I had to return to the training and not enjoy a cesta! Next time we are in the area we will go back!

What a cute little restaurant! The furnishings are pretty simple, nothing fancy, but make your way back to the restrooms and you'll see the cutest lotería paintings on the wall! That added to the ambiance. It was clean and cool, and it is a byob. They start you out with chips and salsa and their salsa is delicious! It is similar to Mi Cocinas and Taco Diner. I could drink it! I like that they give you individual servings of salsa too. I ordered the carnita plate with double beans. The carnitas were made to perfection and the beans were delicious! I also ordered some green salsa to go with it, which my daughter recommended as it is creamy. It was good. The service was excellent! The young girl was easy to talk to and was very attentive. I can't wait to go back!

Really, really good. Super reasonable on pricing and the food is tasty. The best Mexican rest we have tried in Fort Worth. Taco's were perfect and the salsa has the right kind of kick, just enough for your nose to run. A must try. We will be back!

Ordered the menudo. Good flavor! Did not have oregano when I asked for some they brought powdered oregano. Had more hominy than menudo.

There's plenty of seating as well as bar seating. I've been there on a weekend night when a Mariachi band was playing. That made the experience even more enjoyable. When my family and I go we always eat a couple baskets of their homemade chips and salsa and their queso with meat. They have a mild red salsa and a green spicy salsa. Both were fresh and very delicious. I had the Quesadilla dinner, Mexican rice and Charro beans are included. I must say, I have NEVER had better Charro Beans. My family had the Enchilada Dinner, the Carnitas Dinner, and Cowboy Salad. I can't finish this review without mentioning their Frozen Peach Margarita with sugar, no salt...THE. BEST. I. EVER. HAD.

We always start with a cup of queso, which never disappoints. Some of my favorites have been the carne guisada, beef chimichangas, and camarones al mesquite. My husband usually orders the tacos al carbon, enchilada dinner, or the beef quesadilla dinner, and he's enjoyed all of them. Their margaritas are also really good and pair well with the food. The restaurant has plenty of seating, though it can still get pretty busy during peak times. Even when it's full, it's still comfortable enough to have a good conversation without feeling too crowded or loud. Overall, it's a reliable neighborhood spot with good food, good drinks, and consistently solid service.

When we were first seated, we were given chips with a variety of dips, including mild and medium salsa and beans with mole. We assumed the beans had something like birria in them, but after we had already started eating, the waiter came and told us they contained pork. That's something that should definitely be communicated upfront, especially for guests who don't eat pork. Unfortunately, things didn't improve from there. My friend ordered a Sprite, and the glass it came in was visibly dirty, with green particles floating in the drink. While waiting to order our main dishes, we also noticed that the water pitcher placed on our table was not clean. At that point, we felt uncomfortable continuing our meal and decided to leave and go somewhere else. It's a shame because the place really is beautiful. Adding two stars because my drink was good and the queso was okay.

Right from the get go I'm going to appeal to all my fellow Yelpers and my Fort Worth Yelp Elite squad to please give Los Girasoles a chance and soon if you can, this is a completely family run restaurant and they are struggling to keep going. I stopped in for lunch on around Noon and there was only one other table with customers which is hard to understand considering they offer several good lunch special deals! I was greeted immediately and they brought out a big bowl of fresh chips and two salsa's a Rojo and a delicious Verde, I was off that day and decided to have a couple house margaritas on the rocks and they were fresh and delicious! I ordered the Flautas Barachas, 4 freshly fried chicken flautas in a delicious tomatillo sauce, they were clearly made and fried fresh to order and that tomatillo sauce was great. The sides of beans and rice seriously deserve their own props because with no exaggeration i can say these were the best I've had in town, the seasoning was so on point especially those beans! Right across the street or two other Mexican restaurants El Paseo and Mezcales and while Mezcales it's pretty good Los girasoles absolutely blows El Paseo out of the water and is better than mezcales as well. Do this family and yourself for a huge favor and don't miss out on this delicious authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices!
