Today was my first time visiting this restaurant and I regret not trying it out sooner. The service was great and we were greeted/helped as soon as we walked in. I got the carne asada tacos which were great! I'm excited to return to try out the rest of the menu! Fresh ingredients and the salsa was some of the best I've had in a long time

    Every single time. Delicious

Best Mexican spot you'll come across. I come down for work but want to stay for this food!!

    Salsa! Spicy and flavorful!!

Mexican Food Lovers - Arriero's...A must try!! So, like many of you, I'm a HUGE fan of Mexican cuisine and I know I'm not alone. And, if you haven't tried Arriero's yet...you're in for a nice surprise! Located in the same strip as Fuego Burger (4400 Benbrook Hwy), I've been to Arriero's twice in the past few days. I must say...they have some of the best Mexican food I've encountered on this side of Fort Worth/Benbrook area. The restaurant is small, cozy, but with a great and friendly wait staff that are eager to please! The first time, I had the Bistec Ranchero ($9.50) with rice and beans (to-go). The ranchero sauce was simply succulent with tender strips of beef accompanied with rice and beans. The flour tortillas were home-made (not packaged), and the flavor was exquisite! The next time, I decided to eat inside. The waitress was friendly and all smiles. I decided on the taco plate (choice of various meats), and decided on the pork pastor filling. Tacos arrived plated with rice/beans, and piled high with flavorful meat ($6.50). The waitress also brought a couple of different sauces to try, and both were great. And the chips and salsa (free)...simply out-of-this-world GREAT!! If you haven't tried them yet...please do. They are definitely worth the visit, and getting an order to go is certainly an option. Enjoy!!

Great place to eat, fantastic food, outstanding service, we will definitely be back when in Ft Worth. , plus the fact that the tortillas are homemade is an extra bonus

First visit. Small cozy place with a cool and a front counter person. Spanish speaking but English is fine too. The usual free chips and salsa and to me it was great, a little on the spicier side compared to other places. Drinks are bottles or cans American or Mexican, no fountain drinks. I ordered the carne asada plate with rice and beans and small salad on same plate. I wasn't impressed with the meat at all. Not seasoned much and just a little tougher than I prefer, I just don't like well done really. It was a large piece so it had a little gristle I had to take out while I was chewing, I really hate that. That was the only issue at this place. I'd like to try something else, they also serve breakfast items. This place is next door to Fuego burger which is awesome.

One of the best home style Mexican restaurants in Fort Worth! And no it's not Tex Mex, it's authentic food. The staff here In sure are all family and so sweet! When you arrive you are greeted and you can choose any table that's open. After you place your drink order, you are given chips and salsa. Today we ordered the chicken taco plate and nachos with chicken. The tacos are served with red and green salsas in squeeze bottles. My favorite is the salsa verde because it's amazing!! The best part is that the taco plate comes with 3 tacos, rice and beans all for $6.50!! Super great deals! Please take some time come and check out this place. It's small but it's so worth it. The food is good and the people are good!

    Cheese enchiladas with red sauce.

I saw that this small restaurant was full so expecting wonderful food. Service was average. They charge for chips and salsa, but it is reasonably priced and salsa is above average. I had the cheese enchiladas plate and it looked good, but unfortunately did not turn out that way. The sauce was super salty and the enchiladas were undercooked. When I got to the middle of the enchiladas, the cheese was not melted. I told the staff after I was leaving and she told me she would tell the kitchen, not apologizing for my experience. I hope this was an off day looking at the other reviews. I wish them the best, but I will not be back.

    Only good was the Jarrito

They were stuffed with tender meat and were not excessively greasy. They come with onion and cilantro and three different salsas. Kind of embarrassed to say I ate it all but I couldn't help it. Service was friendly although they gave my plate to the person next to me, they went back and brought me my food fairly quickly. The horchata was also very good.

It's easily our favorite place for anything birria. From the birria pizza to the tacos, everything is incredible. The dipping consomé is seriously to die for, and the meat is cooked to absolute perfection. The service is great, and the Chicano art painted throughout the restaurant gives the whole place such a cool, authentic vibe. We always share the combo because you get a little bit of everything, and trust me, it will definitely fill you up. Seriously, get it. This is our number one taco spot in DFW, and after your first visit, it might be yours too.

We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
