Brought it to a lifeguard's attention, they literally said "that is his area". We left after this comment. There appeared to be actual feces in the kiddie pool area. Not a just a little. The lifeguards at the diving boards did not ensure that yellow bands were on little kids' wrists. My nephew went over there and was obviously not 12. Nothing done. I took him away and put him where he belonged. I had three kids with me all different ages and heights. Lifeguards need to be lifeguards and not be checking out other teenagers and playing games amongst themselves. It was very obvious. Sad really. Won't be back.

Seems like everyone is following the rules and having so much fun! They will allow you to bring your own food, tables, and chairs in! They have a snack bar that seems to have something for everyone with great prices! The price to get in is so affordable at eight dollars per child. It's the cheapest fun you can have! If you're a parent/caregiver and you want to swim, it will cost you the same but if you just want to go in it, it's five dollars to enter. We typically stay the full rec time that is 3 1/2 hours. We absolutely love it. The splash pad for the younger kids is really awesome with a waterslide that's perfect for youngsters! That waterslide is so much fun and these little ones have a blast! Free parking lot. Empty when I arrived in the morning, but no spaces by the afternoon. It is a pretty peaceful beach. It doesn't really have a tourist feel that some beach areas have since it's just the beach itself (no shops/food or anything like that). It's not a huge area, but we came during low tide and walked around the more rocky area before the tide started rising. They do have restrooms at the parking lot. Although, the restrooms were disgusting when I was there, so I'd avoid it if possible. (Not flushing toilets.)

Muir Beach feels like the California people imagine, but quieter and more honest…read more Instead of a crowded boardwalk or lines of shops, you come down a winding road through coastal hills and suddenly the land just opens up. The ocean isn't bright blue like postcards, it's deep gray-green, powerful, and constantly moving. The waves don't gently roll in... they crash. You feel it in your chest before you even step on the sand. The sand is darker and softer than most beaches, almost cool even in the sun. Behind you are tall grasses and weathered driftwood, not hotels. In front of you is nothing but horizon. There's a small creek cutting through the beach and a wooden bridge crossing it, which somehow makes the whole place feel more like a nature preserve than a tourist stop. People aren't blasting music or playing volleyball, they're walking, breathing, taking pictures, or just sitting quietly watching the water. If you want a loud beach day, this isn't it. If you want to slow down and actually feel the ocean, this is one of the most peaceful places near San Francisco.

So we were excited to have another recreation and fitness center available other than YMCA. The center offered a Performing Arts Center, Family pool, gym, climbing wall, competition lap pool, worship center, weight room, group exercise classes and more. I paid for the fitness shuffle classes to include the Zumba classes which was so much fun. My two nephews would be placed in the child watch section while their parents (My cousin) worked out. My daughter also worked at the child watch section. My brother also worked as a personal fitness trainer. We were members of the Kroc prior to my daughter and brother's employment. All the employees were always friendly, nice and helpful. We surely enjoyed our time here. We have a lot of great memories.

Coach T is the BEST, she has mastered the perfect balance of being patient and encouraging while also challenging the players to improve and grow their skills. I also have to give a huge shoutout to coaches Taj and Jada! They do a fantastic job supporting coach T in creating a positive environment where players are not only learning the game but having fun as well. The dedication, enthusiasm, and encouragement from all the coaches have made a huge impact on my daughter's confidence and love for the sport. We look forward to continuing to participate in future clinics and leagues at KROC!

My son gravitates to him as a mentor: as well as to Coach Rico and Coach Mike. They know how to break down the fundamentals to help players elevate in their game. My son has been going to NoTime2Chill Skills Academy for 2 years & plays for their Jr Stallion's Team. I see the time & effort the coaches put into my son, therefore my son reciprocates and is able to deliver in a game. So far, I've seen nothing but progress/growth in my son & I can only hope he continues to get better. Team bonding is also a big one for Coach Dre, last season we went to a local food bank as a team & gave back to our community. It was great a great experience. To the coaching staff, Thank you for your time & patience. Not only is this a wonderful place to train, the gym is fully equipped with a banquet room in the back portion of the facility so you're able to rent out the whole gym & throw a party! There's a full fridge, sink, 4 big tables & about 20 chairs. There's also an area where I was able to put a balloon arch for photos & a couch and more tables, so it can accommodate a big party. There's a speaker system that you can connect to & play your play list while the kids play basketball. I appreciate the nice clean restroom for my guests. I recently just rented the facility & threw my son his 12th birthday: 3 point shooting contest, 3 on 3, Knock Out, food, cake, and lots of laughs!! He had the best time ballin' with his friends. I highly recommend everything about this place. Thanks for everything Coach Dre!
