Fantastic dentist office. My husband and I are so thrilled to have found a dentist office that's so…read moreclose and convenient to where we live (right down the street). Dr. Eilers is extremely friendly and compassionate. She never tries to upsell you or make you think you need more work or some kind of treatment you don't, unlike other dentists these days. Dr. Eilers has many, many years of experience and certainly knows what she's doing, rest assured. The office staff is also phenomenal... truly kind individuals who proactively reach out to you to make sure you get a time slot since Dr. Eilers does book far out (we aren't the only people who want to see her and know she's great!) Dr. Eilers won't ruin your teeth, she'll help you maintain great oral health. Stay on top of your 6 month cleanings and any cavities and you'll have amazing teeth for life. I remember as a very small child in my dentist's office there was a sign that said "be true to your teeth or they'll be false to you" and now as an adult I understand this saying so much more than ever before. I really want to preserve my teeth and keep them in the best shape possible. This office is truly one in a million. The ONLY and I mean only negative is the parking but you can't have it ALL, and that isn't a deterrent, obviously. This office is also not handicap accessible but that's out of their control also. Lastly, she doesn't prescribe 800mg ibuprofen only 600mg ibuprofen, which is kind of friggin weird to be honest (REALLY weird to be honest actually), considering I, and anyone, can just go buy it at any drugstore. It's an over the counter med and not like it's a narcotic but you'd think it was from the way she prescribes.... overkill if you ask me. I'm pretty sure I've covered it all at this point. This office meets all of my needs and Dr. Eilers is simply an honest, smart woman who is a great dentist and genuinely cares for her patients. Can't ask for more than that! (And if you need more ibuprofen just go to your primary care and they'll gladly write you 800's!)

I came to the office for an extraction, and both the consult and actual procedure were handled professionally and efficiently. The doc has an excellent chairside manner, is great with administering anesthetic (often the most painful part of the job), and is very consultative and thorough pre- and post-procedure, so that no surprises occur. And there is community, comforting vibe to the operation that you just will find at corporate or even larger practices. I strongly recommend this practice and Dr. Eilers.

Last year, I moved from CO to MA. Right before I left CO, I chipped my front tooth and went to see…read moremy regular dentist. He advised that the tooth had been repaired several times before and would need a crown. Because I was leaving state soon, he recommended that I find a new dentist in MA to do the work. Dr. Stokowski was a short walk from where I was staying at the time, and seemed as good of a dentist as any. Boy, was I wrong! First off, when I stopped by to make the appointment, I gave them a copy of my insurance card with the dental info on the back. The receptionist was rude, but I chalked it up to a bad day. I went in later for the appointment, and even though his website says his office is "state of the art", his equipment was new, literally, in the 1950's. I told him what my previous dentist had recommended and asked for a crown. He inspected the tooth, and said he was just going to do a large filling. He seemed to think that was all I needed, so I agreed, against my better judgement. He did the work, and I was numb and comfortable enough, until he dropped the drill on the floor, picked it up, and went to put it right back into my mouth. No way. After he cleaned it up, he finished the work, and I went to the receptionist to check out. She asked me if I had a dedicated dental insurance card, and I told her no, our insurance does not issue one. She asked me to get a phone number and I explained it is listed on the back of the medical ID card I gave her. She insisted that I call and get her more information. I went home, and within 15 minutes was on the phone getting her the information she had asked for. I hung up with the insurance, called her back, and proceeded to give her the information. She refused to take it by phone, insisting that I write it down, and bring it back to her. I hung up and refused to make the trek back just because she couldn't lift a pen. I then went into the bathroom to inspect the work that had been done in my mouth. The filling was several shades darker then the rest of my teeth! Like VERY noticeably darker. I was not happy. Not too long later, I got a bill from the office demanding that I pay for the full amount. I wrote the insurance information on it, and sent it back. I got three more bills, before they finally billed the insurance, and then the next bill included a copy of the denial letter and asked for a full payment. The reason given on the insurance denial letter? "Practitioner has not provided this office with enough information to determine necessity of procedures." I circled this, wrote "DO YOUR JOB" on the bill, and sent it back. It being now months later, and having finally been able to move into our new home, I found a permanent dentist in our new home town. I scheduled cleanings for the whole family, and when it came to my turn, the dentist mentioned how much darker the tooth was than the others, and then proceeds to tell me that it's going to have to have a crown done because there is a cavity under it. Less than one year after I had it done in Strokowski's office, and now I have to pay for the filling AND the crown I had originally asked for. And I FINALLY got a bill yesterday showing that they got my insurance squared away. At this point, however, I am not sure I want to pay for the "work" they did. In summary, the office was antiquated, the dentist wanted to put dirty tools in my mouth, the receptionist was very rude every time I tried to work with her, and they don't want to be bothered with your insurance. Would I recommend this dentist to someone else? Not even my worst enemies. There's thousands of better dentists and my recommendation to you is to find one.

I found Dr. Goldberg, and made a consultation appointment with him. He took X-rays, examined my teeth, and said one of your tooth definitely needs root canal but the other one does not for now. Then he thoroughly explained what was going on with the tooth nerves inside my gum, why the tooth needed root canal and how the root canal could save my tooth. Dr. Goldberg's explanations were very convincing. Although very much scared of root canal procedure, I decided to go for it. The root canal treatment was completed in 2 sessions each 1.5 hours long (total of 3 hours). I found Dr, Goldberg kind, nice, considerate, caring, experienced and professional in his job. He never was in a rush. He always had time for my questions, and patiently addressed all my concerns and questions. He gave me his email address, his cellphone number and work number, and said feel free to call any time if you have any questions or concerns. During the root canal procedure, he checked on me several times to be sure that I was comfortable and was feeling no pain. Sometimes he made funny conversations to distract my thoughts from things were going on inside my mouth. After Dr. Goldberg got the root canal treatment done, I was so happy and satisfied that I hugged him. :) Two days later, he called me to follow up. What else could I want from a doctor? I hope you all have healthy teeth, but if you need root canal consultation or treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg!

I was referred to see Dr. Joseph to have a root canal procedure done. From the very moment we had the consultation; he was rude, confrontational with me when I asked questions and needed reassurance and overall lacked professionalism. It was clear that he didn't care about what I had to say because anytime I spoke, he couldn't keep any eye contact, kept turning away to fidget with different tools and items and kept looking outside the room. I let it slide as I needed the procedure done for two very severely infected teeth which I couldn't tolerate anymore and the office was the only one who could take me in the quickest as all others were heavily booked. So the appointment was made, I went ahead with the procedure, finally, it's over, its done and I can sleep... I was so wrong. About a week later, the same set of two teeth began with aches and pains again. I made an appointment to go back to see what was going on. When I got there, he really could care less. He told me to wait it out and to continue taking my medication that was prescribed and hurried out the office. I didn't want argue and make a big deal out of it; Fine you're the doctor, you know best, I will do that. within the next 3 days, the gums surrounding the teeth started to form painful blisters and leak pus. It was so severe not even the medications could numb the pain and I had to admit myself into the ER. They gave me corticosteroids and I went to get a second opinion elsewhere on what is exactly happening as I was not going back to him From what I was told, it was such a badly botched procedure that if I didn't take action right away, I would have developed Ludwig's Angina or Osteomyelitis within a week and to put a cherry on top of all of this, he billed my insurance twice for the procedure which is dishonest and fraudulent and I'm currently fighting to get that taken care. I have reported this to the Attorney Generals Office and the Massachusetts Insurance Fraud Bureau. Save your sanity, save your stress, and stay away from this dental office. It's not worth the headache and pain, I am not sure how they are legally allowed to run operations like this
