Here is my before and after!
    Macy B.

I can only say good things about TNT. I have a HUGE phobia of going to the dentist, and because of that I've avoided going for 6+ years. I went in for a cleaning and expressed some disappointment with the color, shape, and size of my front teeth. After a short chat, I was scheduled for 3 appointments within the next 5 days. 5 days and 9 fillings later I'm on the other side and I couldn't be more happy. I should also note that I have a high tolerance to the numbing due to weird hereditary genes. Most dentists in the past have not listened to me, associating my request with a non-existent former drug habit they assume I had. Not TNT, I was a blubbering numb mess, and I couldn't be more elated. I'm already scheduling an appointment for my husband, friends, and family. Xoxo TNT!

I tried smiling... but that was a huge fail obviously. I was just truly thankful for the successful procedure with no problems.

My whole family has been regular patients in this place. Recently, we received a very rude reminder about dental cleaning and a threatening message that if we don't schedule our last cleaning for the fiscal year, our account will be deactivated! What is that supposed to mean? I don't understand what kind of business this place is running if they think these kind of messages are going to bring more clients?! Quite the opposite! It is unheard of hygiene appointments to be required so patients can keep their account active! Usually, dental facilities and private offices send friendly reminders for the patients to take advantage of a covered by insurance dental cleaning since there are only 2 per year. The manager needs to really apologize to all patients who received this kind of unpleasant email or text message as this is really unprofessional and totally unacceptable! After all, there are at least 30 other dental offices in the areas near by Newton Corner, Watertown, Brighton and Waltham. This kind of treatment of the patients would completely drive them away! Unbelievable!!!

I chose this dental office…read morebecause of the overwhelming positive Google reviews, but that turned out to be very deceiving! I suspect they generate loads of fake positive reviews to maintain a high rating. My tooth had been bleeding, so I went there for a deep cleaning. Raycka was the most brutal and careless hygienist I have ever encountered. She does anesthesia in an extremely painful way. At my second appointment, I specifically asked her to be gentle and to use numbing gel if possible. She refused and then gave me anesthesia in an even more painful manner, causing me to spasm. I tried to stop her, but she rejected me again and kept pushing the needle deeper. I could even feel the needle hitting my jawbone, and I nearly passed out during the process. After the cleaning, my gums and jaw were so badly hurt that I had a fever for two consecutive days. What made the experience even worse was the billing part. Before I accepted the service, I called at least twice to confirm if I were in network. The receptionist confirmed that I was in-network. That was a complete lie! I later received a $1,000 bill. X-rays, the doctor's examination, and other services that should have been covered by insurance were charged to me. My wife, who has the same insurance, had an in-network deep cleaning in Waltham and only paid $200. This is absolutely outrageous. I tried calling to negotiate the bill, but their attitude was extremely rude. They insisted the misunderstanding was my fault. Why would you tell me I was in-network when I clearly was not? My decision to receive treatment was based entirely on what I was told. You lied to me and then charged me for it. If I knew I was out-of-network beforehand, I would never have chosen to get my cleaning done here! Horrible cleaning experience and dishonest billing practices. I advise everyone to avoid this dental group. It is a total rip-off.

From the receptionist/ scheduler Karen, to the hygienist Alex, and of course the dentist, Dr. Chiou. Every point of contact I made has blow me away with their friendliness, professionalism and knowledge. We moved to Newton right before the pandemic and we have been looking for a dental practice for our family to call home. I came here after having not the best experience in another practice (which took all the courage in me to get to), I thought I'd give this highly rated practice a shot and get a second opinion. I am so glad I did. Dr. Chiou picked up the phone and spoke to me PRIOR to my appointment and gave me an overview of what dental work might be needed after looking at my X-rays. After learning about my absolute fear of Novocain, he reassured me that everything was going to be ok. The hygienist Alex was actually the one who gave me the Novocain, and performed my deep cleaning and she is amazing- skilled, patient and gentle. She made my whole experience beyond bearable and frankly, painless! The office is modern, clean, and awkwardly calming for a dental office. I have even sent my husband in and he couldn't be more happy and impressed. Thank you again, everyone at Newton dental group!

Dr. Eilers is extremely friendly and compassionate. She never tries to upsell you or make you think you need more work or some kind of treatment you don't, unlike other dentists these days. Dr. Eilers has many, many years of experience and certainly knows what she's doing, rest assured. The office staff is also phenomenal... truly kind individuals who proactively reach out to you to make sure you get a time slot since Dr. Eilers does book far out (we aren't the only people who want to see her and know she's great!) Dr. Eilers won't ruin your teeth, she'll help you maintain great oral health. Stay on top of your 6 month cleanings and any cavities and you'll have amazing teeth for life. I remember as a very small child in my dentist's office there was a sign that said "be true to your teeth or they'll be false to you" and now as an adult I understand this saying so much more than ever before. I really want to preserve my teeth and keep them in the best shape possible. This office is truly one in a million. The ONLY and I mean only negative is the parking but you can't have it ALL, and that isn't a deterrent, obviously. This office is also not handicap accessible but that's out of their control also. Lastly, she doesn't prescribe 800mg ibuprofen only 600mg ibuprofen, which is kind of friggin weird to be honest (REALLY weird to be honest actually), considering I, and anyone, can just go buy it at any drugstore. It's an over the counter med and not like it's a narcotic but you'd think it was from the way she prescribes.... overkill if you ask me. I'm pretty sure I've covered it all at this point. This office meets all of my needs and Dr. Eilers is simply an honest, smart woman who is a great dentist and genuinely cares for her patients. Can't ask for more than that! (And if you need more ibuprofen just go to your primary care and they'll gladly write you 800's!)

I came to the office for an extraction, and both the consult and actual procedure were handled professionally and efficiently. And there is community, comforting vibe to the operation that you just will find at corporate or even larger practices. I strongly recommend this practice and Dr. Eilers.

Premier Endodontics…read more Ok, I usually only write reviews for restaurants so this is new to me. And this may be as important as your next meal in the North End or the Seaport! Like many (or most?) I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist or endodontist! I've had my share of visits and it's never as bad as you're expecting but it's not something you look forward to or look back on fondly..and you all know what I mean! Well, Premier Endodontics at 271 Waverly Oaks Road in Waltham, MA has changed that. From the easy check in with Henry, seamless connection and billing of insurance and any out of pocket expenses, to the explanation of their procedure. I had a short wait and was greeted by Dr Jones' dental assistant, Sabrina. Also, the office and their equipment and stuff seem very modern and the office was impeccably clean and comfortable. Sabrina greeted me and brought me to a room and explained what they would be doing and started with x rays. Shortly after the x-rays I was greeted by Doctor Jones who could not be more personable and professional! She explained what they would be doing to fix my cracked tooth. I needed a root canal and a temporary filling, then a second appointment for the permanent filling, and finally I would go back to my dentist who would install a crown. She also explained that they would first numb my mouth to desensitize it before administering "anesthesia" which I'm guessing was Novocain? When it was time to inject she was obviously more skilled than the last person I had seen years ago..I barely felt a thing! Not sure if technology has progressed but it numbed me up quickly and I didn't feel a thing!! All the drilling, grinding, hands, tools, and suction tube and not a bit of pain or even discomfort!! It is clear that Doctor Jones and her assistant worked extremely well together. They communicated and executed the procedure like clockwork and even played some decent music while they went about their business. (I'd recommend Yacht Rock or Classic Rock as opposed to Metallica or Snoop Dogg!) Disclaimer: They both sing while working and neither of them will ever be a contestant on American Idol! . However...it was very soothing and kind of reassuring of their confidence in what was clearly a routine procedure for them, but can be a bit daunting for 99% of us who cringe when we hear the words ROOT CANAL!! I returned for the second appointment to have the permanent filling installed and it went just as well as the first. The entire staff were so professional and seem like family to each other, which was very welcoming and reassuring to someone who doesn't go to the "dentist" much! I cannot say enough about how positive my experience was with Premier Endodontics and highly recommend them!! Thank you Doctor Jones, Sabrina, and Henry!!
