I came in as a walk in on a Saturday and they took me in. They were very nice and i didn't have to wait too long. Even though there was a person waiting after me my stylist(the stylist from Istanbul) still took his time and did a great job. He gave me a great cut and styled my hair. If you want to reinvent yourself but not quite sure know what will look good on you go to this salon and ask for OLEG. I've been following this guy for 9 years now . I came to him with geeky medium long nothing to remember about haircut and after 1 hour I had uber-cool look. He shows his best skills in short to medium long haircuts although I've seen many customers with long hair coming to him as well. I like it because he cuts my hair different length on top so when going out I could look "punky/wild" and during the day it looks neat but cutting edge/ fashionable. He is very precise. First he cuts, then blow drys then cuts again to perfection. His haircuts are easy to maintain. I never comb my hair. Just put little gel in the morning and it looks great. Also once it grows the haircut doesnt loose shape. I tried various salons in the city out of curiosity. Many of those were Japanese ones because they are good at giving choppy/funky hairstyles but nobody was quite as good as Oleg. He is the ONE!! read more

If i could give no stars, i will give no stars at all. I came to do baliage, Joseph just bleached my hair and i was all dirty ellow and greasy. My hair died. Notjing even close to what i wanted. Plus he did my top black and now i cannot even change my color to my normal medium brown. So upset. Almost 7 months passed. read more

As the previous reviewer mentioned, OLEG is the one who gets all the five stars for this salon. I've tried short haircuts with all kinds of stylists before - male and female, young and not so young, hip and classy, straight and gay, working in big luxurious salons and in their improvised small home studios - never had that feeling of "I-never-knew-I'm-so-hot-and beautiful" that Oleg achieved with his artistry. Never have I had such a flawless "mess" on my head which always looks sexy-wild and high-end polished at the same time. Yes, like the previous reviewer I forgot about combing my hair for a couple of years ever since Oleg cuts my hair. And yes again, HE IS THE ONE! I wish with all my heart that he gets better soon and comes back to work - I can't imagine going elsewhere for a cut now, and very soon nobody would believe my review looking at me. The rest of the staff is not worth mentioning. Even the owner, Joseph himself, was not qualified to give my 8-year old son a descent simple haircut, I had to re-do it myself at home. Just mediocre boring style, poor quality of work and service. Not to mention "soviet" attitude to clients from Russian ladies working there (not sure about their English language skills) . Some turkish guys are much nicer, but don't speak a word in English or Russian. And by the way, who put this place in that "super-duper-high price range?" I Received a referral last year from this Joseph Professional Salon. I went there last year. I had Yusuf (Joseph) who put hi-lights on my natural hair color. This year I went back again with my brown hair. I asked for 1/2 head highlight. Asked for caramel color hi-lights. I showed him of picture of the hi-lights I wanted. Joseph assured me I would have the nice color I chose with shine. My hair he said is beautiful & healthy great hair to work with. As he began to work I took off my eye glasses. He began working from the back I figured perhaps 1/2 head for his salon meant working around the crown. But no it wasn't he was doing a full head. Nevertheless, since he did so I didn't complain I figured what the heck. To myself I said fine I'll let him do the entire head. The salon got busier throughout the hour. Not with his customers but for other stylist and the nail section. Joseph seemed overwhelmed. He left my highlights in he went to work on someone else. He left my hi-light foil in for approx. 40min. He said to me go wash. I asked him to make sure and check my hair b/4 I go wash. He came back and checked just one section. He said yes go wash all. I went to wash. I waited a while longer b/c there was not enough sinks to wash (only two).When done the color of my highlights yellowish orange. Immediately, the washer agreed with me and said, "Yes the top is not same color as back bottom half of your hair". He put his hands up and said, "I don't know what to do ask Joseph". I waited for 10min until Joseph was free. I complained and said I didn't like my hair. Lady getting hi-lights from Joseph told me my hair is orange I am right and that he doesn't pay attention to customers when he works on two -three ppl at the same time Joe, then had toner put on my hair. When toner was done. He looked at my hair again and said next time the toner is free for you. He walked away again. As the towel came off my hair he asked to dime the light! I asked him why he doing that he said to get a better look the light are too strong you won't get the good effect. My hair was wet. I left it wet I was there for 4 hours now and of course I was tired and wanted to go about the rest of my day and eat something since was I was there all day. I spent over $160.00 on my hair. I went home to blow out and found a true disaster. I cried. Next day I called Joseph in advance told him I am coming over for him to fix my hair. He said, No you cannot. I am busy. Come Tomorrow. I said I can't I work and I am truly unhappy with the color you gave me. He said, well I gave you a break of $20.00 in the price since it's my mistake... Well, I demand for you to re-do what you did wrong and give me the color I asked for or you refund me the money. I went to the salon and approached Joseph in a diplomatic manor. He was rude angry and insulting. He refused to fix my hair. He insisted my hair looked good with the 4colors non of which i asked for. I showed him the book he had of the color he promised me. He said rudly grabbed the book from my hand said he doesnt know anything about it. Of course, he took advantage of the situation at hand now there was now only one customer in the salon. He also lied and told me he had to go to the hospital now to see his brother. LOL - This Salons Owner Joseph did an injustice to me. They don't know how to run a business. He doesn't have high standards & technical skills that are required from a more complicated process and they cannot be compared to industry standards. I was brutally disrespected and dishonored. His arrogance and blant disregard for the industry standards drive me to seek action. I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. read more
