What gave me pause was that I've consulted other orthodontists in the past about Invisalign for small cosmetic concerns, and the consistent feedback had always been that my teeth were already well aligned and moving them could potentially create more issues than benefits. Because of that, I felt uncomfortable with how quickly extensive treatment was recommended for what appeared to be relatively minimal contact points, especially when continued night guard use was dismissed as a "band-aid." Seeing so many Invisalign ads throughout the office did not help that feeling. While these recommendations may be appropriate for some patients, I personally left feeling more sold to than educated, and uncomfortable with how my questions were met with defensiveness. I ultimately decided to seek care elsewhere. Everyone in the office was kind (although another reviewers mention of the stepford wives vibes isnt far off), so I feel bad leaving a review especially over a subjective experience but I think it's important to share and encourage patients to ask detailed questions, explore conservative options as well, and make sure they feel fully informed before committing to extensive treatment.

As I'm pulling into the parking lot they call me telling me the crown had not been delivered yet, literally minutes before my apt after driving all the way there. Fine, I reschedule. I then get a bill 6 months later for a charge for "missing an appointment". Guess which it was? it was the one THEY cancelled because my crown was not ready. But they still went ahead and charged me a No Show Fee anyway. Had to dispute that with billing, only to be told this is a normal thing with this place. After multiple appointments getting upsold on expensive treatments, and pushed to get Invisiline after telling them repeatedly I am not interested and can not afford it, I cancel my future cleaning. Only to get multiple reminder texts for that cancelled appointment. Even after calling and asking them to cancel it, THEY DID NOT. Thankfully I called back after another reminder to find out my appointment was still on the books, and I would have been charged another No Show fee if I didn't come. The Dentist and his always revolving team of assistants are decent at their job, but this facility will try and wring every last dollar you have out of you. Esp if you need a Deep Cleaning, which they recommend every time I go, whether I had one done the previous year or not. PLUS, they wanted me to pay for the entire thing UP FRONT, over $1200 for a procedure I had not had yet. It was also broken up into 2 different appointments, for each side of the mouth. Why couldn't I pay on the day? Why couldn't I pay per side? Because that's their policy......Until I told them I straight do not have the money like that. That I would just go without because I couldn't afford the lump sum. Suddenly, they changed their policy and I could make 2 payments. No big deal. It's policy to take all your money till you tell them your gonna walk. They it's "Oh no wait, we can actually do that". It's not genuine help, they just don't want your money walking out the door so they'll make an exception so you don't spend it elsewhere. This is why people hate Dentists. You get uncharged and scammed to the point of losing trust and then real problems go untreated because they maxed your insurance with unnecessary procedures and exams. Go ANYWHERE ELSE in Studio City. Listen to your gut, get a 2nd opinion, don't get pushed into spending money you don't have and maxing out the little insurance you do have. And above all, double and tripple confirm with this place because they are not here for you. They are here for money.

She is amazing at her work. She's honest and doesn't push for something she does not believe is needed. I recently replaced an old crown of mine and you can't even tell that it's a crown! Flawless. I had to go back too many times to get the result I was looking for. I was only getting my two front teeth veneered due to natural discoloration. When I got my "tester" teeth, I had squirrel teeth. I have a natural gap between my top and bottom teeth and I think she tried to overcompensate. I came back a separate time for her to fix the length. This time I was happy. The third time was the permanent install. I was pleased with my final product .. until .. I now have a permanent horizontal wrinkle between my nose and top lip when I smile. I know this is from being administered anesthesia. The dentists would pull my top lip up to my nose and make several injections in the flesh above my top row of teeth. I had that done 3 times instead of 2 how it should have been. I hate this wrinkle, it is extremely deep and don't know how to fix it besides a possible surgery or having to get fillers. The experience was good, but the end result was not great. I would not return for additional work.
