There's a paper menu on the wall next to the front counter as well as a digital one on screens, hung behind the food case. Like a typical poke bowl place, you pick your base, proteins and add-ins. There were many items to choose from and various types of drinks. The young man helping us was so friendly and kind. My daughter and I got small bowls. All the proteins and items we each chose were flavorful and fresh. And the sauces rounded off the flavors perfectly. Very good portions too! We also tried the egg roll, delicious! I saw this spot come up in my Yelp feed of places to try. I honestly would have never known it was there had it not been for Yelp. I go to Stater Bros on occasion, but I never come in on that side and it's in a small unassuming spot. I kept seeing reviews and people rating it high, so when I was hungry for lunch recently and not too far away I decided to give it a try. Parking was easy and plentiful. There are photos and menus on the exterior glass. I walked in and there was one table of 4 people. I was greeted and asked what I'd like to order but I hadn't looked at the menu yet, it was my first time in. I asked for a minute while I reviewed the menu. It works like most of the fast casual poke places. You pick a size, then you pick a base then you pick your proteins, then you pick your add-ons. The bowls seemed more reasonably priced than most places that I have been recently but when you add in the add-ons like charging for avocado and seaweed salad, etc., it makes it the same price, other places just don't charge for those things, but their prices are a little bit higher. The guy at the counter was all business. It was hard to hear each other over the tall glass so we both had to repeat ourselves multiple times. My bowl was made quickly and I opted to eat in. It's located in an old subway sandwiches location and there are several tables. I sat at a four top. My bowl was really good, the fish tasted fresh and it was firm unlike the mushy tuna I had elsewhere recently. As I sat eating, the tables filled up and they got busy. I understand why. When I saw that they had 5 stars and 51 reviews on Yelp, I knew that I had to go check them out. Honestly, I haven't had amazing customer service like this in years! Quentin was such a great host. I would go back just based on the great customer service alone. Fortunately for all of us, they also have amazing poke! So, let's get down to business. Today for lunch I ordered a large poke bowl which includes 4 different proteins. I chose to get half spring mix and half brown rice as my base. Omg...they gave me so much food! The Aloha tuna was by far my favorite. It's just so flavorful and had just the right amount of heat. Even better, they let me sample it before I decided if I wanted it in my bowl or not. Who even does that anymore? Joseph's Sushi, that's who! I also had the spicy tuna, ahi, and spicy salmon. All of them tasted like they were fresh off the boat. There was absolutely nothing in my ginormous bowl that I didn't love. All of the fish, rice and veggies tasted delish. I had also ordered their jasmine green tea which was very flavorful, and unsweetened, which is my preference. They do have sweetener if you need that. And Quentin being the host with the most that he is, also gave me two pork egg rolls to try that were very good. I only ate one there because I was so full and brought the other one home. I just warmed the other one in the air fryer for my husband (who's not a huge fan of Asian food), and he agreed that it was very good, especially with the accompanying sweet chili sauce. It was such a great experience overall as the family is so welcoming and grateful for your business. This speaks volumes to me. Their care truly shows. It's not a huge restaurant, but it did have a few tables if you'd like to eat inside. The restaurant and bathroom were both very clean as well. You can tell that they are on top of that which is important to me. While I was there scarfing down my lunch, it seemed like most people were taking their food to go. They were super quick with their service too. And I think I said this before, but it bares repeating, you will not believe how much food they give you for the price! Huge portions!
