This is genuinely one of the best Poke spots I have been to anywhere in the United States. I started going here when they first opened up during COVID. During those times, the menu was very simple. At that time, the father, mother, and son operated all aspects of the operation. Quality control was huge. And it continues to be the same way today. The fish is always extraordinarily fresh, tender, and pleasant to taste/smell. The rice is always perfectly cooked. The toppings are persistently fresh. Today, the menus is fabulously expanded to include a variety of Japanese and Asia-Fusion items. The decor and seating arrangements are aesthetic and comfortable. I'm so sad to report my disappointment in this update. I had Pho and my friend had Curry. My beef was freezer burnt and no amount of Oyster Sauce could cover it :( My friend's chicken tasted re-heated and the curry was coagulated and did not appear fresh. As we sat there, the flies started buzzing around us and we had to hastily pay our bill and leave. We needed to find a good teriyaki chicken place. We saw tekipoke which appears they do a variety of different Japanese (and now Vietnamese) dishes. We got their combo plates- I got their teriyaki chicken with gyudon beef, my husband got the teriyaki chicken with katsu chicken and a rainbow roll. The teriyaki chicken had a good crunch, felt like it might be fried. It was pretty good except it needed like teriyaki sauce on the side or something. It was a little dry but not too bad. My gyudon was delicious. This is something I'll get next time, it wasn't just all beef fat. It had good flavors too. My husband got the rainbow roll and it was a fat one. Looking for a good ramen spot in the area, I tried this place based on the really good Yelp reviews. This place was small but clean inside. The service was no frills. The decor was like a typical Vietnamese pho place with bright hanging lanterns. The smell of the incense was a bit more than my liking for eating in. They had so many Asian items, that was a plus if you would like a good large option to choose from, however, the large menu might be more of the "fusion" taste, rather than speciality. Good effort keeping the wide selection in the small place. I ordered Tonkotsu Garlic Ramen. It was OK. The noodles were nicely cooked, but the soup was bland and had a film of oil on the top that I didn't like so much. The pork slices were a bit hard to bite in. I'm sure there are some menu items that are better than others when you get to know your favorites. I struggled to decide what to get because the selections all sounded and looked detectible. You order at the counter after you look at the menu. They have dry erase poki menus to mark your selections which was such a great idea. The lanterns hanging overhead throughout the place made it feel warm and inviting. I love the ramen and boba blanket they have hanging on the wall. So cute! We didn't have to wait long for the food and each item tasted better than the last. My husband had a baked roll it wasn't good at all the fish was like way under cooked and too many mayo sauce. There are quite a few poke shops in the area so the competition has to be pretty fierce. In fairness, they have a decent menu and offer more than just poke here. It's located across from San Marcos High School in the same center as Albertsons and there's plenty of free parking in the lot. The interior is really cute and much nicer than I expected to find in this little mini-mall. There's ample seating inside or you can get takeout. We tried their poke bowl and teriyaki chicken plate. They also have boba drinks and ramen bowls. The medium-sized poke bowl should be more than enough for a hearty meal. They have a few bowls with suggested ingredients or you can just build your own bowl, which is what we did. Everything tasted very fresh. The final product was very pretty-looking, in fact. The teriyaki chicken plate was very nice. The chicken had good flavor and was served on a ton of rice. It comes with a good portion of very fresh steamed veggies on the side. The poke bowl is a little pricey but you get both quantity and quality. I'd be happy to return for some solid poke. read more

I love their pho, the broth is tasty and the best I have had in a long time. I also really like the option to build my own poke bowl. The ingredients are fresh and they give you generous servings. My husband loved their cream cheese wontons. The service is amazing! They are so so so nice. They offered me water and dessert while I waited for my take out order. I really liked the colorful flowers and lanterns they have hanging from the ceiling. The new decor adds more color to the shop. This is my go to spot for Asian food! Placed a dinner order for two poke bowls and a salmon sushi roll at 5:37pm. It's now 5:59pm, over 20mins later and still waiting for the sushi roll. Front counter person says the delay was due to the kitchen being backed up. I look around the store and there is only one couple who is here and they are already eating their food. Why in the heavens did it take 20 minutes to make this roll? PS: Did you see the photos of the roll? How does that take 20 minutes to make? The bowls themselves were made by the front counter person which took ~10mins. Quality of the food for the price paid was not worth it. Salmon was lackluster and the roll was just plain terrible. If you really want to try this place, maybe order something other than their poke bowls or sushi next time, otherwise avoid altogether and find a better place nearby. read more
