All things considered with the covid crap they did a pretty good job. The servers were overworked and they were understaffed and out of a few items on their small menu. Drinks were awesome and the staff was doing their best! Not a fan of the salad with anchovies but the trout cakes were awesome. A little over priced and we'd only come back for the drink menu. The food here is fabulous; my family and I ate here three times during the week while visiting Glacier National Park. Po' Boy, Bison Gyros, Buttermilk fried chicken, all with delicious local beer. I visited Glacier from California and it got late while I was hiking...everything was closed by the time I emerged and a local told me to go to Josephine's. So glad he did! This place is AWESOME! Fantastic and unique food...prepared homestyle with some serious attention to detail...fun music, great drinks, super friendly staff. I'd come here anytime of day again and again. Great decor and outdoor patio too. Tasty options for both carnivores and vegetarians. I'll be back for sure. read more

Pickings are SUPER slim in this area for food- unless you want to eat huckleberry pie 3 times a day, there is only mostly shabby deep fried mystery meals in scary roadside shacks. So imagine our surprise when we found Josephine's. Newly opened, this tiny little hillbilly hipster joint has AWESOME food in a gorgeous little cabin, and cocktails featuring the next door glacier distillery poisons. ( go there first for cocktails) We had gumbo, which was BETTER than the ones I had in NOLA. We also had local bison gyros, which was delish! This is the only place in town you can get a great salad or healthy options. Only criticism- they are super busy and getting used to the heavy traffic, as they only opened in May this year, so waits are long and it can be tough to find a table. They will sort it out though as they quickly discover they are the only place in town that sells decent food. Hopefully they are the first of many groovy and tasty eating joints to come. read more

Nice and casual, good food, many many steps up from food inside Glacier National Park. You order at the counter, but this place has a lot more class than most fast casual spots. The folks are friendly and warm, the food is great, and it's all well worth leaving the park to eat here. The BBQ buttermilk fried chicken (a "starter") was a meal in itself, with three good sized filets, doused in a sweet BBQ sauce and served with a nice fresh slaw. The smoked trout po' boy was also terrific, with flaky trout and a great baguette-style bun (key to any po' boy). Definitely worth driving to Coram (just 7 miles from the West Glacier entrance) for dinner. Josephine's is also kid-friendly, and has outdoor seating if you want more fresh air after a day at GNP. read more

This is a great newly opened spot just West of Glacier Park...great stop for a late lunch, snack, drink, or dinner. Menu has a variety that should please everyone, young and old, food is great, and ambiance is special. Dining inside or outside and very enjoyable. A good crowd and definitely a go-to place. read more

Stopped into Josephine's after a Glacier National Park visit. Great service, creative menu choices and outstanding food. I had a bowl of Gumbo Soup while the others in our group had the Bison Gyro. Everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection. After lunch/dinner, be sure to visit the Red Barn just down the path, home of the Glacier Distillery. Incredible drink menu and lots of samples! My favorite drink was the Kicking Mule in a copper mug, very refreshing on a warm summer day. Definitely recommend Josephine's....You will love it. read more

The food was better than most in Montana but my experience here was not the best. First of all, the service was non existent and you had to go in to order, they forgot we ordered drinks, and they gave us the wrong order and then took them from us and gave them to different people after we already walked outside. I went with a big group and we were all looking for something light. They have many small plates so that made us very excited! Most ordered the cup of gumbo and they do have a kids menu so the kids ordered the chicken strips. The gumbo was very good but we went around tasting each other's because one tasted weird. We figured out that some tasted old and some tasted fresh...it was very disappointing because some of my friends, me included, didn't experience the reason so many people love this restaurant. They also made us pay for sauce for our chicken fingers, I feel like that should be included. Not to mention that the food is already more expensive than most. Safe to say next time just go to the distillery and make an eating stop before you get there. read more
