We just had our holiday party here last night and it was a wonderful time! The banquet had the perfect amount of space for tables, a photo area, DJ and dance floor, buffet style set up for food, and a separate area with the bar area. There was also generous space to hang your jackets. There is covering outside if you need fresh air or to have a smoke without getting snowed or rained on. There were 2 bartenders and they were nice and did their jobs well. We never had to wait longer than a minute for drinks. The food was not bad... I really liked their ham! Super flavorful and tender and I wish I had went up for seconds. The bathrooms were cleaned and never ran out of toilet paper. I'd be very happy if our party took place here again next year! read more

Seeing there can't be any parties during this time, caterers are really struggling during these times. Well Joseph's Catering is doing meals now!! My wife and I tried them for the 1st time and WOW! Everything was delicious! My wife and I are not baked bean fans, but we polished off half a tin of these baked beans! The pulled pork was also melt in you're mouth tasty. The BBQ sauce the pork was covered in was a nice mild sauce. Not too overwhelming. Just right! The corn and Mac and cheese was also great tasting with the Mac and cheese having think melted cheese covering it. The whole meal which serves 4 was a steal for $30.00! Wow. Ordered a Christmas take out for four. Very reasonable. The meal came with carrots, ham, chicken, mashed spuds and a pasta alfredo. Cookies and rolls(Costanzo's) were also included. I did not expect much. The cost was only $64.00. The food was EXCEPTIONAL! Real chunky mashed potatoes. Ham with a sweet glaze. Sliced chicken breast. I don't know what else to say. They catered a wedding I was at. Wow. I had always heard ok things about them but this wedding changed all that. They were rude. They blamed the count of people for running out food. ( we actually had less people than they had rsvp'ed for) People make mistakes but please do not try and place blame elsewhere. They ran out of potatoes for the potato bar...I mean one of the cheapest food ... you didn't prep any extra... but when 40% of the party couldn't have potato's because they ran out?! That's a catering issue. Also their response and answer to the problem was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They also took down the late night food early so they could leave early. Very disappointed. I also blame the venue (Notting hill) but the cater made the food issue and running of of food is just not ok with the price you pay these days. read more

Joseph's recently catered my daughter's wedding and it was fantastic!! So many guests commented on how delicious everything was and that they even encouraged each table to get seconds! The staff was wonderful and very attentive to each table's needs. From the passed appetizers and mediterranean dip bar to the most delicious vanilla ice cream with the wedding cake for dessert, the food was plentiful and beautifully displayed. They even wrapped up the top of the wedding cake and explained how the couple can freeze it for their first anniversary. 100% would recommend read more

I attended a wedding ceremony and reception here last weekend. I can't say enough about the friendly staff. Everyone, from the smiling servers to the capable bartenders, was helpful, efficient, and professional. The food was terrific. I don't know anyone who didn't love the tortellini Alfredo and the "glorified" potatoes. My friends were married in an outdoor ceremony, followed by an indoor reception with an ample dance floor. It was nice to have access to the outdoor space for the entire evening. The gardens were beautiful. I would not hesitate to book an important function at Joseph's Country Manor. read more

We went there for the Dueling Pianos Event. The ticket included entertainment, dinner and appetizers. The food was good, but the entertainment was amazing. Everyone at the tables were engaged and signing along. The owner was there and was extremely pleasant and welcoming. He went to every table and made sure everything was going well. Joseph's Catering Service did an absolutely wonderful job with our wedding day. All of our guests raved about the food, several of them told us it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had. If you're going to select your menu, the tortellini will be a must order, it was really the star of the dinner. Our wedding was in September and our friends still bring up the tortellini when we speak. We've also been here for a couple of events. We've attended both a murder mystery dinner and a comedy night. Overall it's not a bad place to spend a night out and their food is fantastic. If I had to find a complaint it would probably just be that the bar is a little on the slow side, and generally has a poor selection of beers if you're in house for an event. read more

I attended a banquet at Joseph's Country Manor and was impressed with the overall experience. The large room where our event was held was clean and comfortable--not terribly fancy, but perfectly suitable (and one that could be decorated nicely for more formal events). Although the weather was not suitable for a stroll, we could tell that the grounds are also nicely designed and maintained for outdoor events. Everyone at my table (including a chef) commented on how good the food was--definitely better than I anticipated for a a buffet-style banquet. I was especially happy that they offered plenty of vegetarian choices and selections that would accommodate other dietary restrictions as well. It was nice not to have to ask for something special. Throughout the event, the service at the bar and in the dining room ran like clockwork. Overall, a great experience. Rich was the most professional caterer we met while shopping around and we booked them before we even had a tasting. We did eventually have our tasting and we knew we made a great choice. On our wedding day the food was amazing but it was the service that put them over the top. The servers and manager were so amazing the day of. We had my daughter's communion reception there a few years ago in the smaller room in the basement. Let me start with the good. The room was nicely appointed for a small party and the food was good and has always been good. We have done pickup catering here plenty of times. On to the bad......my daughter's communion mass was scheduled for 11:30am and I told Joseph I wanted the party to begin right after church ended. I was estimating 1:30pm. He insisted that we needed to have everyone there by 1:00pm for some reason(I'll tell you the reason soon, as I found out later). I specifically told him, I don't have any control of how long the mass is and we would be traveling about 25 minutes to get to Joseph's after church. We left it at that and I was confident the timing would be fine because we were in the same ballpark? We arrived at Joseph's after church about 1:15pm which I thought was pretty good for an 11:30am mass and traveling 25 minutes. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a panic from Joseph and his staff. He asked me when everyone will be here and I need to get everyone seating immediately because he was going to start serving food. At this point, my parents have not arrived yet and I was not going to start without them. My Dad at the time(he has since passed) had Parkinson's and had trouble navigating stairs and walked very slow. There was about 8 stairs if I remember correctly to get down to the room. So as people were trickling in for the party, I had the staff looking over my shoulder telling me they needed to start serving. I finally asked someone what the big hurry was since we have the room until 4pm. They told me, and Joseph told me eventually, they had a big wedding they were preparing for in the large banquet room. So I guess rushing me the whole time I was there was OK because of this? My parents finally arrived and as I mentioned, my dad moved slow. AS I'm trying to help my Dad down the stairs, Joseph comes over and tells me he's starting to serve the buffet. Now it was about 1:40pm. I told him, we need to say a prayer first and he walks away. Talk about stress. I was so stressed at this point, I was literally speechless. I finally got my Dad situated and got through the prayer and people were called up to the buffet. As soon as the last table was served, the buffet was torn down, as dessert was being served. After the buffet was down, we never saw the staff or Joseph again. I had to go in the back to find someone to give them a check and pay for the party. With all this being said, it has taken me a few years to write this review, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I have never been treated so rudely by an owner and a staff(not their fault) in my life. And I have paid for a lot of parties in my day. It's unfortunate that I was made to feel this way because management doesn't care enough about a small party to staff it properly. We have never been back since and I will never give them one dollar of my business in the future. Sorry, but I was completely offended and wish I would have said something on that day. I totally regret not telling them how I felt at the time. Live and learn. read more

We chose Joseph's Catering Service for our wedding reception at Michael's landing in North Tonawanda. Rich was very helpful with any questions I had, even pertaining to set up of the stations at the venue. The staff was punctual and on top of things the day of the event. Food was delicious, we had the grilled, pasta, and taco stations. I was allowed to pick up the necessary linens before the event and they left a linen bag for all the included tablecloths and napkins to return the day after. If I had any complaints, it would be that you don't get to take home any leftover food but it is donated to the needy. Also, there is no avenue to sample the food beforehand, we booked purely on reviews. It was totally worth it though, no disappointments! read more

My daughter got married at the gazebo at Joseph's. Her reception was in the grove. It was a beautiful event. She had a buffet style dinner which was fabulous! You have to have the glorified potatoes, so good. The servers were friendly and helpful. Rich Joseph oversaw her whole day and couldn't have been nicer! He catered to her every wish. Went to a wedding here in September.... I traveled 10 hours to attend the wedding and this atrocious reception. I can't begin to tell you how awful it was. It was in the outdoor enclosed grove. It was 90 degrees and there is NO air conditioning in there!!!!!!!!! There are ceiling fans.... that do NOTHING even on top speed. The bathrooms were an absolute disgrace. They were dirty and dingy and looked like they haven't been updated in ages. Let's start on the food now. There was cheese cubes chopped up and thrown in a vase with some ritz crackers on the table. Now keeping in mind it's 90 degrees, the cheese was all melting and going bad. who thought that was a good idea?? The "menus" were pieces of computer paper cut up and thrown on the tables with their advertisement on the back!! It was a buffet for starters so you already know the food is going to suck. But when i got up there i was shocked at how truly bad it was. I had to get my own plate out of this tray trolly they have at elementary schools and there were only 3 different choices of "entrees" and the "fresh" fruit was canned fruit thrown in a serving bowl and dished out in styrofoam bowls!!! The food was awful. It tasted as bad as it looked, completely dry and devoid of any flavor. They gave us cups! PLASTIC cups! At a wedding!!! I asked for a Malibu baybreeze and they looked at me like i had 5 heads and told me they don't serve that so i asked for a jack and coke for my fiance, again they don't serve that, ok pina colada? nope they don't serve that either. I settled on a vodka cranberry... in a plastic cup. apparently the bride either didn't spring for a full top shelf bar or they just don't carry any decent liquor in this establishment Now on to the decor, or lack there of. They have dated wooden folding tables and chairs, a concrete floor and straight back where the head table is, is this horrific lattice that should have died in the 80's along with the entire notion of a head table.
