Great spaghetti shed! Visited the area for my birthday and decided to have a night in with take out. The food was great, decent portions for the price. They offer a free loaf of bread, with a choice of plain or garlic butter. Pizza selection was creative. The staff are very covid conscious and run takeout orders to assigned parking spots.

It was freezing cold and my Joyce was recovering from surgery. She wanted pasta. So we both knew it was Joseph Spaghetti Shed time. So we called for take out, because she is not up to sitting and traveling. When I arrived the food was ready. So I went to pay with a gift certificate and cash. There was a moment of hesitation because gift certificates cannot be used for take out ordets. But she came back in a minute and said no problem. The kindness of the folks were only surpassed by the food itself. Smiley face spaghetti, hot bread with garlic butter, and an extra side of meat balls and sausage. Just fantastic. Can't wait to go back and sit inside soon. Thanks for your kindness. And also for a great price too. Under 30 bucks for the whole meal.

    Hair on pizza

Most of the food we ordered was practically inedible. The bread with garlic butter was ok. Worse sauce than jarred Ragu. Meatballs were gross. The pizza was just ok until we found a hair on it. We ended up throwing out most of what we ordered. Unfortunately it was a very pricey mistake to order here. I really hate to give a bad review but I feel like people should know what they are getting.

Amazing Italian food and huge portions. Too bad it is only to go food. But still well worth it. Can shop inside for Italian stuff

Unbelievably terrible food. We thought we were being punked when we saw what we'd ordered.

Amazing "red sauce" style Italian takeout. COVID policy: No indoor seating, takeout only. Healthy portions home style flavors.

We've eaten from Joseph's a number of times and have never been disappointed. Carmella's chicken is a favorite!

Whether you're winding down after a day on the slopes or simply looking for a hearty meal and good drinks, this spot offers a satisfying evening. Cocktails The cocktail menu impressed, especially the Allagash Blueberry Smash made with maple syrup vodka and fresh blueberries--a creative, flavorful New England twist. Everyone at the table agreed: the cocktails here are a highlight. Rating: 9/10 Entrees - Spicy Texas Brisket Pizza - Brisket, onion, jalapeño, cheddar, mozzarella ($28.75) This was a solid choice with a crispy crust and a good kick of heat from the jalapeños. However, the pizza leaned heavily on cheese and could've used a bit more brisket to balance it out. A great option for sharing--easily split among four people. Rating: 7/10 - The Bear Burger - 8oz Robie Farms beef, white cheddar, bacon, pulled pork, onion ring ($23.75) A beast of a burger in all the right ways. Rich, juicy, and layered with smoky, savory goodness--this one will leave you full and happy. Rating: 9/10 - Potato Crusted Salmon - Served over spinach, topped with honey mustard ($28.75) Sadly, this dish was a miss. The flour taste overpowered the crust, and the texture didn't come together as hoped. Lacked the finesse you'd expect at that price point. Rating: 2/10 - Yankee Pot Roast - Potatoes, carrots, celery ($37.50) The absolute standout of the evening. Hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor--you can tell this dish simmered all day. Tender meat, perfectly cooked veggies. Worth visiting just for this. Rating: 10/10 Desserts We tried the: - NY Style Cheesecake - Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake - Red Velvet Cloud Cake - Warm Apple Crisp Blossom à la mode Each dessert came with ice cream and offered something for every sweet tooth. For me, the Warm Apple Crisp stole the show--comforting and nostalgic with the perfect balance of cinnamon and crunch. Overall Ratings - Food: 8/10 - Cocktails: 9/10 - Affordability: 6/10 (A bit on the pricier side, but portions are generous) - Ambiance: 9/10 (Live music and ski lodge aesthetic made it cozy and fun) Final Thought: If you're staying at the Grand Summit or just passing through Bartlett, The Tap House is definitely worth a visit--especially for the live music, cocktails, the Bear Burger, and that unforgettable Yankee Pot Roast.

Over the years staff has come and gone (save for a few who return every year faithfully, and it is always a joy to see them again), but Vito's recipes are pretty steadfast. His bolognese has been my standard for decades. Once upon a time, he had the best salad dressing I'd ever had. It has changed a bit with time but still pretty incredible. The staff is not quite what it used to be - possibly due to times changing, or possibly due to my being a bit older and more cranky - but the food is always outstanding.

Seating is a little tight at these tables. There are booths and lower tables but you need to take what's available if you want to eat here. Believe me, you do want to eat here! We were served delicious Italian bread with delicious garlic, balsamic, cheese & rosemary dipping sauce. We were then served with salads with their own dressing. It was really good. We ordered toasted ravioli in a marinara sauce and two baseball sized meatballs. Both delicious. Then my honey got veal parmigiana, I got Chicken, Broccoli and Ziti in a white cheese sauce, and my sister got Chicken Marsala. We were very impressed with the portions and taste of all of these dishes. It was surprising to find such fine dining down a side street in North Conway near Zebs Country store. There is plenty of parking, a full bar, plenty of wines to choose from and handicap accessible. We rated this a 10 out of 10. We didn't have dessert as it was me and my twins Birthday. But, they sure looked delicious. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will try a dessert.
