We did a full day hiking Mt Washington and was in desperate need of a bite. We drove past this restaurant and decided to give them a try because we figured pizza would appeal to the group. OMG!!! Their pizzas was AMAZING! The crust, the sauce, everything!!! Most impressive about this place was we walked in 10 min before they were set to close. They seated us and the waitress came up right away to take our order. There was no mention of rushing to close or rushing to put our order in before the kitchen closed. This is our second time in the North Conway area and this time we wanted to try a few different places. I was really in the mood for pizza because it's usually something we don't get that often when we're in other states outside of NY, NJ or CT. Something about this place though, from what I was reading on line, was telling me it was going to be good. It's kind of a hidden spot connected to a hotel. The inside of the place looked pretty cool and they had a big wood fired oven and you could watch them making the pizza which is fun. We ordered a Jay's Heart which is basically a regular cheese pie and another smaller pie which I can't remember cause as I'm writing this review it's been a few weeks since we've been there, but the important thing is I remembered how the pizzas tasted and my wife, son and I all loved it. The crust was really good and crunchy, the cheese and tomato sauce was also very good. The pie I totally forgot the name of was surprisingly really good cause it was something we wouldn't normally order but we wanted to try and we were glad we did. This is definitely a spot we would go back to every time we visit. Only problem is that we don't have this place at home. Also, if you have kids they give them paper and crayons and put their artwork in the menus. So if you want good pizza or flatbread this is THE place to go. read more

8/17/26: First time I have been to their new location, It's a spacious, beautiful building. Holly was our server and she was great. We ordered the salad which was so fresh and delicious. Produce from a local farm. We also ordered the special veggie pizza which was so good; we were sorry for not ordering another to take home. But, most especially was the manager. She went table to table asking if everyone was pleased with their visit. We ended up ordering dessert but the ticket didn't print so it wasn't made. Once Holly realized it, she went to the manager and the manager had the dessert made and she personally brought it to our table. She said it was on the house due to our wait. For the past 20 years of me coming here it's been at the Eastern Slope Inn, but this year I went to the new building, and it was impressive! Very well built, the fireplaces are right in the open so you can still watch your pizzas be made. The staff were very polite on our most recent visit, and food was fantastic as always. We chose to go to Flatbread co. For dinner because we've been hearing great reviews about this place. This pizza was delicious! The ambience of the restaurant is cozy and intimate. The oven where they cook the pizza is out in the open and you can see your pizza being made in real time. This also fills the restaurant with a pleasant aroma of freshly baked flatbreads. We ordered our drinks, two mocktails that contained ginger beer and apple cider. These took a bit to come out, but they were absolutely delicious and we got a large glasses so it was worth the money. For our flatbreads, we went with two small: coevolution with maple fennel sausage added, and a harvest flatbread. These were both awesome, baked well and full of flavorful ingredients. I especially loved the maple sausage and the squash pieces. Both of the flatbreads were gone with no leftovers in sight. We of course had to try their dessert, which was a cinnamon apple crisp and barbaras homemade brownie sundae. The sundae was GREAT! The warm brownie, chocolate sauce and cold ice cream were a heavenly combination. The other dessert was pretty good but didn't have much wow factor to me. Our waiter, Shane, was wonderful, very helpful and polite. I also loved this place because they seem to give back to the community frequently and are very involved with charities. Solid pizza for thin crust lovers with a special callout to fresh, organic pizza ingredients. The chicken bacon ranch was a favorite with a delicious ranch sauce and not too greasy from the bacon. Even the cheese pizza was well seasoned and better than the average cheese pie. Portion sizes were average for a large - two was plenty for 4 adults and 3 kids. The house salad was different and not for everyone. However, for me the celery and kelp with sesame ginger dressing worked well together for a great flavor combo that was different than an ordinary salad. The salads are pretty small though and really for one, maybe two people. We did takeout and it was 30 min for the order to be ready. There is a separate takeout window for takeout orders and the restaurant is actually connected to the inn so it's easy to miss. Quality pizza and worth a try! read more

Went here for a little lunch and we were glad we chose this spot. Huge space with some nice outdoor seating. Service was good, a little slow, but still good. We got spiked peach iced teas and the street taco pizza. We were skeptical of this pizza at first but when it arrived it looked amazing and tasted even better. Flavors worked perfectly and you really got a sense of biting into a street taco. Loved the chipotle drizzle on it! We love flatbread had Portland and this was just as good! To go in the Eastern Slope Inn Review: First off super easy to order as a guest. Just stop right in! I sent my husband down to place an order, he waited down there and had a beer at the bar. He said the service was good. It was all local beers, which he liked and the pizza didn't take that long. The issue: I don't want tomatoes chunks and onion on a bacon, chicken ranch. (It was advertised correctly but I was busy getting a toddler out of his bathing suit as my husband confirmed what we should order so I just thought it would be a standard CBR pizza.) Also- where's the bacon? The ranch is very flavorful but my second piece (big slice at the end) had no ranch on it. Boo! Overall, a fail here. read more

It didn't have any burnt or blackened parts which was a plus, since you will tend to find that with live fire cooking. The toppings were very fresh and everything was organic. The pepperoni slices are huge and thin and the pizzas were heavily seasoned making you want to have slice after slice. The pizza was also cut into strips instead of traditional triangles so it was easy to sample a little bit of everyone's. The salad dressing was also very good and homemade! After a day trip in the area we decided to stop and see if Flatbread was taking reservations. We were able to join the Yelp waitlist when we parked and we were seated as soon as we got in. We ate inside, ambiance is interesting with the brick ovens right there, but the large dining area seems like you're in a covered patio and is loud. This was fine for us! We were seated at a two person table, and our food wasn't able to comfortably fit on the table with us. I had the potato pizza special and my husband opted for gluten free pizza.
