Tried to get a late lunch with my family this past weekend and left before we were even seated. There was a bad smell immediately upon walking in. We were brought to a table very quickly so that was great but ultimately decided to go elsewhere before we even sat down as the smell was unbearable. It smelled like vomit. read more

We dropped in after taking the train from Conway. It's a very nice space. The bar is reasonably tight. Services is pretty decent. Bar tenders were helpful in general. A couple people you could tell did not want to be there. The pizzas looked absolutely amazing. If I go back up that way, I'm definitely stopping for that. The host was all smiles and super friendly! He let us choose our own seating, as we had an injured skier with us. Many cozy areas to choose from and great view of Attitash across the street. Love the music choice of the café too! Our waitress was very efficient & sweet. She kept checking in on us, and even offered to refresh our injured skier's ice bag . She also took some great pics of our group for us! The food was perfect and hit the spot. So many options! I went for the chicken basket which contained the most delicious heavily breaded chicken I've ever had- super flavorful and very well seasoned. I've been hunting for the best fries around, and I think if not the best, this one is definitely a close second. Hubby ordered the meatball sub and said the meatballs tasted homemade. Most definitely not from a frozen bag of meatballs. He said the sauce and mozzarella was also delicious and he could tell it was made at the restaurant. Our party all agreed the food was delicious and the beer options were great. There were some mixups with one or two of the rounds of beers, but that did not dampen our experience here. All our food came out HOT and FRESH. Prices were fair. Highly recommend this cozy café for a nice homemade snack or meal after a day of skiing/riding! read more

At the end of the day it's a cafe in the front lobby of ski resort. You aren't planning your best meal of vacation here but def most convenient. Pizza, Buffalo tenders were good. Burger (hot and sweet) was ok. Fries were bad. Paying $8 of the smallest piece of grilled chicken for top of salad (crazy small amount of lettuce too) was insane. But I could walk from room here and back in less than ten mins so can't complain! read more

The poutine did not seem fresh at all. The French fries were cold, the cheese curds were put on cold, and the gravy was very light in color and flavor and also was not very warm. When we told the server about it she said oh we can put it in the oven, it happens more often than you think. Which says to me they know there is an issue with it but they keep doing the same thing. We stopped here for lunch yesterday and it was really good, everything tasted fresh and homemade. We each got the Matty Single burger, which comes with special sauce, American cheese, LTO, and pickles -- a lot of pickles, which I love. The portion of fries accompanying it were huge, you will not go hungry here. They also have gluten-free buns. They had a nice array of beers on tap and also in cans, my friend got an Aperol Spritzer that looked tasty. Service was prompt and friendly, and the scenery is beautiful. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely return, some of their poutine dishes looked delicious! read more

Wings! So good! A delicious simple but delicious meal. The chicken wings were large and meaty, not like most places that seem that less is better... Matty B's do wings right! We were staying at the on-site resort and decided to check this place out and was very impressed with the friendly staff and fast service. My husband and I had a fantastic experience tonight! We ordered the pizza special...any large specialty pizza, a bottle of wine and a large salad...all for $30! Holy guacamole, a $60 value had we ordered all of these items separately. We sat outside and our waiter was very personable and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this Fall so we will be back on Thursday for another special! read more

Very frustrating. We come every year but it's hit or miss if they are open. When you call there's no message saying they are closed. We've gone on 3 occasions only to find them closed. We were up at attitash for the day, while swimming we got MattyB's. It was terrible. The kids pastas barely had any sauce, when we asked for more they said we needed to pay for extra, same with their "salads" (greens with a tiny bit of dressing that isn't even enough to give it a tiny flavor). I've attached photos. We spent $90 & had to go elsewhere to buy them more food that was actually edible. Idc how convenient this place is, we will not give them another penny. read more

We needed a place to watch the USA Women's basketball game, so we headed to our inn's restaurant. The workers were so very friendly. My husband got the lobster roll with coleslaw. I got lasagna with a nice salad. I could not finish all of my lasagna, so my husband did! We had a good time leisurely eating and watching the game. Also our first night there. Matty's has become our 11:02 meeting spot during the ski season. The staff is amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious. We are addicted to the Cheeseburger Poutine and the fish tacos. The pizza is always perfect!!! This review is mainly to focus on their excellent approach to the Covid19 re-opening. Matty has socially distanced the patio tables and put rules for dining at the entry point. I picked up pizza and was very impressed with the clearly marked flow of entry to pickup point and then arrows to mark the one way exit. We all miss the shortened ski season and our MattyB meet ups. They have stepped up their game to ensure a safe pandemic re-opening plan and set up. Keep up the good work!!!! read more

Walking into Matty Bs there was a slight smell of chlorine bug the pool room is no where near the restaurant. When being seated we were sat near a cute little fireplace which I thought was very cute and romantic. I ordered a ginger ale for me and a ginger ale with a splash of cranberry for my boyfriend. Our waiter eric brought over my ginger ale- which tasted like sprite. And did not bring the other soda I ordered. When my boyfriend sat down he asked him for his drink order, which I thought was kind of rude. My boyfriend then ordered a ginger ale with cranberry just like I had ordered for him. My boyfriend then asked eric if he had tried the mountain side beer to which eric said "I only drink real beer from Germany because people put too much stuff in their beer here". My boyfriend drank a bit of it but overall found it too hoppy for him which was a bummer because of our waiter had friend it he could have done a better job recommending something my boyfriend would like. We then ordered the poutine with chicken nuggets and bacon on top- one of our favorite dishes. We had ordered the poutine here in the summer and loved it! When I bit into my first bite the cheese curds were still refrigerator temperature cold because they weren't touching the gravy or fries. I wish they had put the whole dish in the broiler for a moment to make sure the cheese was warm and kindof melty. The cheese towards the center was warm so I stuck to eating the middle parts. The gravy was really flavorful so I made sure to load the fries with that. My boyfriend got a side of pulled pork that he didn't eat because he said it didn't taste too good. Eric was nice about asking him why it went uneaten and took it off the bill for us. For dessert we had the mini key lime pie. It was more of a key lime flavored cheesecake but it was overall delicious and the best part of the meal. I would order that desert again in a heartbeat! read more

Bummer. We had 2 MB meals during a week-long stay. When we dined in, service was great, food was on point, and we left happy! Second visit was take out and 2/2 ordered items were prepared inaccurately. We called and were met with general indifference - one item, a salad, was replaced, which was appreciated. Once we had that, we added in the chicken that came with the first one - it was overdone, unseasoned and unappealing. We decided it was completely not worth having that corrected and just ate the inaccurate pizza and skipped the chicken. Overall a disappointing guest experience. read more

Directly across from Attitash Ski Area. The restaurant and bar are a nice stop after the slopes. Friendly staff, and the food is typical pizza, burgers and wings joint. The bar serves up any drink you want. I stop in after a skiing to enjoy a meal and drink. Nice way to end the day. It can get crowded. So you may have to wait for a table, especially for large groups. There is usually a spot at the bar. Meals can be ordered at the bar too. read more
