I called them up a couple of weeks ago. They did a virtual walk through with me and gave me a fair price. I checked the price against 3 other larger companies. Theirs was the best. On the day of packing, the crew showed up and got right to work. They were super Excellent. They returned the next day to actually move my things to my new home. They showed up with a crew 2x the size of the packing crew and got the job done....door to door...in just under 7 hours. I was extremely impressed with the speed and professionalism and respect that they showed me and my family. It was cool that a lot of the crew had military ties. If I have to move again, I will be contacting Sebastian.

There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. These guys not only responded right away (at 9pm Sat, wow!), they offered the lowest rates - they really wanted to help. They showed up as scheduled the next day and started moving right away. We really appreciate that they didn't complain about anything and also figured out a way to navigate thru narrow passages with heavy items - without making a dent or scratch. This was my third time hiring College Hunks Hauling Junk, and unfortunately it will be my last…read more During the move, one of the movers failed to remove a footer from a chair before moving it and punched a hole in the drywall. They also damaged a door. The movers acknowledged responsibility at the time and told me it should be a simple claim to resolve after the move. That was not my experience. Once I submitted the claim, I encountered delays, stalling, and ultimately a refusal to fairly address the damage. The company attempted to rely on a liability limitation applicable to items damaged during transit, even though my claim involved damage to my home caused while their movers were performing services. I explained that distinction and that the damage resulted from the mover's failure to properly follow procedures, but the company refused to reconsider its position. They also attempted to unilaterally "close" my claim based on an internal deadline. More concerning, when I asked for the legal name of the company operating under the College Hunks name--not merely the DBA--I was not provided that information. I also requested the (1) company's Florida moving license/registration information and (2) insurance information, I was not provided that either. This resulted in the loss of my security deposit and footing a substantial bill due to their mistakes, and they refused to make it right. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that customers look elsewhere.

My furniture packed, moved and unpacked was estimated at 2 hours and it came in just under since they worked so well as a team. They padded and wrapped my furniture to keep it safe and clean and everything arrived in good condition as they unpadded and unwrapped it as they placed it where I requested.
