There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. The movers came to my home 1 hour late from the agreed time. They came unprepared and did not bring tape to wrap up my furniture. The movers also came to my home HIGH as can be and worked in slow motion, one decided to come to my house in slippers to move heavy furniture. While disassembling some of the furniture in my home, it was communicated that one of my office desks could not be disassembled as it will take about an hour to do so. My husband and father in law took care of it in a matter of 5 minutes. This is how high the movers were. They clearly were too incompetent to take care of this. After driving the furniture to the new home, the movers realized that they left all of their tools at my old house which ended up taking me an hour total to pick up the tools from the old house and bring it to the new house. To top all of this off, the owner communicated he would reimburse an hour for this and he lied and never did. We were charged an extra hour for this inconvenience because his men couldn't do their job right. The movers ended up chipping some of the framing in the new house for one of our doors and ended up cracking the brand new tile when moving in our furniture (mind you this is a rental I'm living in). Once everything was moved into the new home, i was going to make a payment with my credit card and was told that the owner only accepts cash which he never communicated to begin with. I explained to the owner that i didn't have the cash but would give him a check and he could cash it within one week. The owner Jason started yelling and swearing at me uncontrollably on the phone and ended the call. The movers refused to leave my house until payment was made even though we only had a card to pay with. Luckily I was able to contact a family member to let me borrow the funds however I was scared for my life and my family's life. This has been by far the worst moving company EVER! I wouldn't recommend them not even to my worst enemy. Save your money and go with another moving company. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my lifetime. I am just very disgusted and disappointed with the owner and the men he hired to do the job! Responding to the owners comment: I am speaking the truth and I am sorry that you are upset by this. Between traffic and the time it takes to get to one house and then back to the other house yes it took a total of 1 hour that you never refunded. You never communicated the payment method when we initially spoke and I did in fact communicate how many bedrooms and all the furniture we had. I do have all the calls recorded for your review if you'd like along with the one where you yelled at me and swore uncontrollably. Not once did I say I wasn't going to pay so please do not lie.you were the one that ended the call because that's how upset you were so please do not get it twisted. When I had called other movers for quotes they were more interested in getting my credit card info before I could tell them what my needs were. Not Jason. It was just so simple. The day of my move. This was scheduled between 9am-10am. I had a 30 minute early arrival which was perfect. Usually you would expect some excuse of a delay. The two young gentlemen were so polite and professional. Before I knew it I had at least two large pieces of furniture on the truck. Well handled I might add. These guys were so careful! From the very first message they were punctual, polite, and informative. Like many people we thought we could do all the moving on our own and then it came to the day before we were supposed to be out and everything felt so overwhelming. So in the midst of everything we were also trying to find movers. We greatly underestimated just how challenging of a move this was going to be a black swan genuinely saved us. Not just that, they were genuinely some of the kindest people I have ever met. Even though moving can be an extremely stressful experience, if we had hired them from the beginning it would've gone so much more smoothly. Even though we don't want to move again, it's likely to happen sooner rather than later and we will definitely be booking black Swan again.

The day we moved they showed up on time, talked with us a moment and got the just of what needed to be moved and what we decided we would take ourselves as we just wanted the heavy stuff moved and not the small boxes. They worked efficiently and even took apart one table I have with a marble piece wrapped it all and made it easy to move and less likely to break. (It was one of the few pieces I was really worried about because of its sheer heft and weird round shape, but they made it all seem easy.) Plus they took a few pieces of art that we planned on taking saying it would be no trouble and no extra cost, and I'm glad they did because they arrived at the new place safely and I didn't have to carry them or place them in our car at all. When we had gotten to our new place all the pieces got there with no issues, and were unpacked as carefully as they were packed and reassembled (for the table that they took apart and the entertainment center) with ease. They made sure to ask me where I wanted each piece as they brought it in so I wouldn't have to move furniture around later. It was all easy for us and effortless, and I was quite pleased. I will definitely call them first if we move again within their operating area! And best of all, their prices are more than reasonable for what you get... I was actually surprised we weren't charged more. We were so pleased my hubby immediately did a video testimonial with the owner (and my hubby never does that!)
