He gave me the choice of waiting for Monday to do the repairs, or pay the additional emergency charge and have them come out right away. I opted for the right away and was glad I did. Tony plus two others arrived around 4PM and by 7PM everything was replaced and back to normal. I had one of their electricians out to give me an estimate for the replacement of some lighting fixtures and to rewire their switching. All of the materials needed were already onsite minus the cost of some wire and a couple of inexpensive light switches. The price quoted was between 1600.00 & 1700.00. When I asked him how long he anticipated such a job might take, he said between two and four hours. I suspect that his high end timeline was probably an overestimate, but even at four hours, that worked out to over 400.00/hr. At two hours, it was twice that. I asked how an electrician could justify that fee and was told he didn't set the fees. I told him I totally understood, paid the service charge and sent him on his was.
