I also appreciate that he has walk-in hours available for emergencies so you're not waiting for weeks (or even days) when you have an emergency or need to see the doctor urgently. (I've even had to schedule an urgent pre-op appointment and they worked really hard to make it work with my limited timeline and the doctor's limited availability). His front desk is also really great. If I need something, I don't need to ask for any specific person, they all know how to handle questions, cases, and concerns. Truly, they are great at what they do and they're incredibly efficient. When I ask for a referral or let them know about a concern, I know I don't have to follow-up and I will be hearing from the doctor or the office SOON. I even had a more urgent case that I wanted dealt with as quickly as possible, so I called and got the office's email and sent them the necessary paperwork before my specialist did and I had a referral and follow-up material within 24 hours. When you have lab tests, tests or xrays in general, or anything that requires your attention, someone will call and follow-up and update you on the situation and potential next steps. They may not be the gentlest about it but I prefer a straighforward approach so that I can handle whatever I'm dealing with as quickly and as best as possible. This office is kind, efficient, and very good at what they do. I've been coming here for YEARS, have gotten my family to come here as well, and hope to continue to be coming here for many more years to come. A truly fantastic doctor and office.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Tsai and his practice…read more I was frustrated with the larger medical groups, having trouble getting appointments, waiting weeks and weeks for a 5 minute visit only to feel like the doctors were not really trying to understand me. It seemed like no one took the time to put together my various symptoms and treat me as a whole person; they were only treating my individual symptoms. I have had the exact opposite experience with Dr. Tsai. I am able to get appointments quickly, he never rushes, and in fact often takes the time to dig a little deeper to make sure all my issues are thoroughly addressed. I genuinely appreciate his approach to healthcare and finally feel like I have a doctor who cares.

When I was admitted to the ER, they were shocked that as my PCP, he didn't prescribe ANY medication earlier to prevent my condition from getting worse. Through what I learned at the ER, I realized how improperly I was cared for. A few days before going to the ER, Dr. Tsai just told me to take something over the counter. He constantly brushed off my concerns. If I was cared for properly, I wouldn't have had to go through the ER and go through the pain I am going through every day from a condition that could have 100% been prevented. Through almost a year of working with him, Dr Tsai never informed me or conducted preventative care appropriately. When I signed up for his service, he stated that he was "pretty much always available." I trusted him, but this turned out to be far from true. I would try to contact him through the member portal and hope for a response from him. Sometimes I would have to message and follow up more than once to get a response. He doesn't have a proper scheduling system or calendar, so you need to call repeatedly and leave voicemails and just hope that he will return your inquiry. It was a ton of playing phone tag and inability to reach him or schedule appointments to follow up. Please do yourself a favor and keep searching for a different doctor. Update: I reached out to Dr Tsai directly to express these sentiments, but he never responded. It was through this constant negligence and lack of communication that prompted me to feel obligated to warn other people looking for care. He didn't respond to me, but he responded immediately to this Yelp review. It's really sad to see a doctor trying prioritizing a business Yelp review or the impact he had on his own patient.

I left my house at 9 with an expectation of making it at 10:15. Due to a wreck, I got stuck in traffic for 20 or so minutes and still managed to get there just 12 minutes late. Also there was zero parking so I had to park in the shopping center and run over in the rain. Then, I had to deal with whatever attitude she had informing I was late and my appointment was at 10:30. As if I didn't know that. Maybe keep your comments to yourself in the future. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that I'm generally always early and they make me wait 10-20 minutes after my noted time often.
