There's no wait to see him and unlike many other doctors, he doesn't make you wait an hour or two, just to try and make you think he's important. You're in and out, and I couldn't even warm up the chair. He's right on the dot. He's experienced, and patiently explains a course of treatment forwhatever complaint you've got, you discuss it and you come out more educated. He's direct and to the point, but not in a rude or "know it all" kind of way. Talking to Dr. Paskil is like talking to a close friend or your smart uncle. He's awesome and I'm very happy I've found him. Did I mention that he won't make you wait 4 months for an appointment? It's soooo annoying when doctors do that. Staff is great too, always in a good mood and totally relaxed!! He is now my doctor and I'll slowly transition him into becoming our family doc!!

It was during this time we interviewed his PA (gosh we miss her so much) and his office manager, Brandon. The minute the nursing home doc came in and basically refused to give the correct medicine for his MRSA infection, Dr J's PA jumped up and corrected the nursing home doc. When the nursing home doc asked who she was; I said, our doctor! So that's how Dr J and his staff was hired. Dr J has answered my calls in the middle of the night when my hubby has been sick. He makes same day appointments. The appointments are an hour long. When caregiving for a spouse it can be difficult to care for yourself. I was so impressed with the care my husband received that I hired Dr J and his staff to help facilitate my health care. She had been concerned about the drive to Irvine since she doesn't live in OC, but after meeting him today about a list of issues, she walked out feeling empowered and happy to be in some expert hands. I went with her to her appointment so I was there to see how he treated her. He asked her questions, listened to her answers, and carefully examined her as if she were his own mom. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that level of care and patience. Now my mom can't stop talking about how amazing Dr. Mikhail is -- she said that all her other doctors have never been so thorough. For instance, she has had breathing issues the last few years yet no one had ever had her do a breathing test to figure out the cause. Dr. Mikhail quickly got a test ready for her, then diagnosed and treated the issue. I can't thank Dr. Mikahil enough for all these years of outstanding service, expertise, and kindness. He is the kind of doctor that won't run batteries of tests on you unless it's actually called for. I now live 50 miles away from his office and will still make the drive down to see him. I've recommended a number of friends and colleagues to him throughout the years and they all agree that Dr. Mikhail is hands-down the BEST internist around. We are SO LUCKY to be his patients! P.S. But Dr. Hoang, couldn't have made me feel more relaxed and comfortable once I realized how intelligent and understanding she was about so many different medications and health conditions. Her referrals have also been great, and most important she has always been on time, and not kept me waiting. She is very relatable and easy to talk to and discuss any medical issues or concerns you have.
