It's a higher level of service and attention that the fee covers. This is not a high volume, rushed medical practice. It's truly run like a small practice, where everyone treats you like family. He is very competent. Do not mistake happy talk and smiling faces as a sign of effective health care. He works very hard to make his patients feel comfortable and knows a lot more than he puts on. Instead of dismissing my concerns or relying only on surface-level lab values, she took the time to evaluate my full clinical picture. She recognized that my condition was being managed effectively on treatment, and more importantly, she documented what happened when that treatment was interrupted. She connected my symptoms,swelling, inflammation, pain, and functional decline, to the disruption in care and addressed it appropriately.
