The first time I called this facility, Dora told me not to call her anymore. She was very rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all. My family had a very unexpected loss and had to deal with this facility. The other staff were as helpful as they could be, but Dora is the one handling our arrangements. I am utterly shocked at how she has handled our matters. She still has not followed through with what she is supposed to do. Choose someone else. read more

Beautiful job with my brothers service made everything so easy. Great people and so empathetic and willing to help.

Joshua Mortuary managed to make the hardest time in my life of my husband passing much worse. From not being willing to accommodate us with a Saturday service until we offered to pay for the overtime to not taking the flowers with them after the church service so they could go to the graveside. Not bringing the portrait to the cemetery as requested. Not asking if we wanted or needed motorcycle escort from mortuary to the cemetery in Riverside. Not getting the death certificates for almost 4 weeks and an attitude that felt like everything I asked for was an imposition. I was extremely disappointed with the service I and my family receive. I definitely do not recommend using them. If I am ever faced with arranging a funeral again I will go elsewhere . read more

Jason spent over an hour notarizing papers for us that were unrelated to their services. We never felt rushed. My family and I recently lost a family member who was 22 weeks in the womb. Joshua Mortuary was the first mortuary to call us back and called us back at the time they said they would. Chris throughly explained everything to us and was very compassionate with my family and I as this is the first loss we experienced. I highly highly recommend this place. All the staff were very nice and welcoming and they went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable, understood, and that all the appointments accommodated all of my family members. Although this experience is a very painful one, I truly feel that Chris really helped us understand, cope with the situation, and made it a very easy experience for all of us. I am very grateful for the service we received for my dad when he passed away in June of this year. It was my first experience with making end of life arrangements and they led my mom and I through with care, compassion and professionalism. I recently lost my twin sister pregnant of 33 weeks with my nephew. I was also adopted and lived with my foster parents whom I call my parents for 23 years or more now. Since her passing we came to find out that the next of kin was my bio mom whom I have had no contact with since all those years. We could not have had a funeral right away like I wanted so my family can give her the proper goodbye instead we had to wait a little over a month to bury her because of my bio mom giving us bumbs of problems down the road. Vanessa at this mortuary has helped me and my family a great deal. She went above and beyond and was so patient during all this kaos to wait for us to make our decision on the burial.
