We ended up getting the Chilaquiles Con Madre (Chilaquiles rojos), which came with tortilla chips, soyrizo, tomato sauce, cotija cheese, sour cream, cilantro, and chipotle aioli. We also got a fried egg on top. I wasn't expecting too much from a farmer's market-style tent booth set up in a back patio, but the chilaquiles ended up blowing me out of the water. The tortilla chips were delightfully crispy, with the perfect crunch to every bite; the savory creamy flavors blended well together, with just enough mild spice for a gentle kick. (For those desiring more spice, they also include green sauce in a separate container that has a much stronger kick to it.) The torta del barrio came with a quesadilla on top! I asked how they came up with this idea and she told me that a customer actually thought of it when they started out at the local farmer's market. This was a really flavorful and heavy sandwich! I also enjoyed the chilaquiles, although it was a bit oily. I didn't tell my hubby that they didn't use real meat and he didn't even notice haha!
